I do support your position @tusandii,  the socio-cultural environment has much to do with how well women engage in gambling  in any society. Take a look at the USA or Australia women who in these places don't have to disguise to gamble or hide their gambling activity from neighbors or friends because the environment has normalized the activity for both genders and people's perspective towards gambling in these countries are not same with that of other countries where gambling is tagged in the opposite as those countries I earlier mentioned.
