Galatasaray today thrashed their Turkish Super Lig opponents Sivasspor with thumping 6:1 scoreline. With that win, Galatasaray have now extended their points difference ahead of second place Fenerbahce to seven points. Fenerbahce still have the chance of reducing their points difference behind the league leaders to just four points if they can beat Konyaspor tomorrow but I still think that the current league leaders are definitely going to win the Turkish league at the end of the season.
Fenerbahce started the season in a very good note and were even leading the league table at a time so I thought they were going to stop the reigning champions for defending the Turkish Super Lig title this season but with just three league games to play before the end of the season, Galatasaray will win the league title of they can win two out of the three games.

I understand when you expect fewer goals because Galatasaray have already locked up the title this season but don't forget Mauro Icardi and Edin Džeko are competing for the golden boot, today Mauro Icardi scored 2 goals so he remains in top position with 3 goals adrift of Edin Džeko but Edin Džeko still has 2 matches to play while Mauro Icardi only has one match left so we shouldn't be surprised if Galatasaray scores a lot of goals. We will not see a rivalry between the two clubs but an individual rivalry between the two players.

By the way I was a little surprised to see the standings because there will be 4 teams that will be relegated, generally in other leagues only 3 clubs are relegated.
