Indeed, in the end, 1 trophy in this case will not be enough to make their condition improve, especially the very good achievements in the Europa League this season are inversely proportional to the worst results Tottenham has had in the last 2 decades so in the end it is quite natural if management makes a policy by replacing Ange next season even though he gave 1 trophy this season.

I have noticed this problem with them since the beginning of last season. They have failed to score two or more goals in most of the matches. Be it the Champions League or the Premier League, they have preferred defensive football everywhere. As a result, they have been able to score 1 or 2 goals in most of the matches. Although they do not seem to have any problems in other aspects, they are weak in attack and lag behind in attacking football. If you want to rule in modern football, you have to give more importance to attacking football. Because the audience likes to see goals and the opponents also feel the pressure.

To seriously compete for the title Arteta really need to bring a proven striker. To compete in high-stakes games, Arteta should consider Morgan Rogers and Igor Paixão's possibility. Arsenal's defenders have played quite well this season. I have no complaints about the defenders performance. Also they need tactical tweaks if they want to dominate the EPL and UCL. I'm actually bored by seeing same strategy of Arsenal in almost all the matches.

This was a ridiculous call IMO. Just how can you decide to sack him anyway after winning a EL trophy for you? This club has been trophyless for who knows how many years!

Sometimes I really don't understand their chairman Levy.    You finally have a coach who wins something for you but you say "Nah, I'll look for other options anyway.".

This is why Tottenham will never be consistent.

Ange Postecoglou deserves to be fired because management is not satisfied with his performance even though he managed to bring one European league trophy but his performance in the domestic league did not make his position as a coach safe. I think he was so frustrated with Tottenham's management decision but that's football when management acts the coach can't do anything except surrender to a bitter fate.

Well you are right there are several names of new coach candidates who are on the watch list to become Tottenham's coach next season, but I see that Edin Terzic is more experienced in building a stronger squad. Moreover, he is unemployed so Tottenham can entice him to accept the offer to become Tottenham's coach next season.

It's only matter of time until Thomas Frank to joins spurs. His assistant has said that he'd like to follow him if he moved to the Tottenham, and he will come very soon. However, the come of him is not even fixing spurs problem if they still have Levy that leads the club. 

I still take Frank's signing as positive, and the only good thing from him is that he's EPL proven.

However, it's not most exciting outcome from spurs.

This might be the right decision for Arsenal. Because maybe it's a bit difficult to win the title with Arsenal's current players or Mikel Arteta needs to work harder with his players or improve their skills. Rather than that, I think it would be the right decision to let go of some old players and bring in some new ones. They should even take a tougher stance on some important players and try to sign them for a long term. Maybe we are going to see some of these steps from Arsenal.

Maybe I have mentioned before that this team is prioritizing three strikers to strengthen the striking position, meaning that Arsenal Football Club is prioritizing these players in their summer plans.
If Arsenal are able to add a new striker in the transfer window, it is believed that Mikel Arteta will be able to further enhance the team's capabilities. You are probably absolutely right that they should take a tough stance on key players and even extend their contracts, so that Arsenal will never be weak.

Generally the team needs a striker, not just a striker but a good one seeing the team already has quality players. Tottenham bosses aren’t very patient or rather they don’t want to repeat what Manchester United did with Erik Ten Hag.

Sixty nine goals scored and thirty four goals conceded in the thirty eight matches played wasn't actually a bad stats for Arsenal this season. Their defenders despite their inconsistency played a greater role with the help of their goalkeeper because he's been outstanding as well in most of the games though everything almost fall apart towards the end of the season.

Arsenal have no permanent strikers and the false strikers available suffered continuous injury that caused Arterta a severe setback. From every indication Arterta looks so comfortable working with these unfit players for as long as possible and he doesn't care about their unproductivity. Perhaps, when the pressure is too much for him to handle and his job is at risk, he will learn to change strategies.

Well, you cannot discard that Tottenham finished the season just above the relegation zone, and I believe their ambition was to finish at least in the top 6.
In his first year (2023/24), Ange Postecoglou led the team to the 5th place, so the 17th place in 2024/25 season was a MASSIVE decline. This is not a good sign and indicates that whatever Postecoglou's strategy was, it was not working.
Also, paradoxically, winning the Europa League and qualifying for the Champions League could work against Postecoglou, as there's more pressure for the club to not waste their chance in the UCL and to find someone capable of improving things in a short time.

I'm not surprised by the club's decision to sack him. This is probably the most competitive league in the world, and there's no room for sentiment. If a manager can't deliver, he will get replaced.

He did very bad just like Ruben Amorim. This is the first time in many years Tottenham is ending the season this bad and not able to win their intense league matches. If they enter next season with this poor playing style, they will neither go far in the champions league as well as the English premiership. It is good the management of Tottenham have taken this decision so that they can rebuild the team and make them more competitive because next season will be very hot.

No doubt Tottenham became really worst of n performance towards the end of the season and that rediculed all the efforts of the club in the early stage of the premier leagues, so for sure the demand for a change of coach was somewhat necessary, but we were just speaking from the angle of possibility of improving with an experience coach instead bringing in an entire new hand to coach the club.

This is quite logical because spurs are almost relegated from the English Premier League, but the question is who is the coach who managed to bring tottenham hotspur back to the UEFA Europa League trophy after the last time spur won the trophy in the 1983/84 season, and which coach managed to give spur a trophy after 15 more seasons they played without winning a trophy. So I think Postecoglou's sacking is quite unfortunate. Even though I really look forward to how the strategy he will design when spurs play in the champions league next season.

And I think why spurs' performance is quite bad in the premier league this season, and in contrast to what they showed in the UEL competition, is because the player material owned by spurs is still lacking, so Postecoglou has to choose one to prioritize. And this is part of Postecoglou's strategy and plan to how to maximize the potential that the Spurs have.

The Truth of the matter is that, Manchester United and Tottenham and Manchester City have suffered alot in this season and few seasons before now, but for some lie Manchester City they hard their own time , just that they declined in this season but for clubs like Manchester United we can point to alot of decline and bad results, the management crisis and other political influence effected the club alot, but still this season was far better and a pointer to what is coming ahead.

I also think he deserves to get another season in Tottenham. Winning Europa League trophy is a big achievement, it won't be easy to achieve average coaches. Sure, Ange couldn't manage Tottenham well in EPL, they finished in a very bad position. However, he may change Tottenham performance in the next season, right? Ange is long gone and Tottenham have since been looking for a replacement, what I noticed from their Pursuit though is the fact that they are actually looking at a premier league proving manager instead of going outside the country to get one. Their candidates have been either Marco Silva of Fulham or Thomas Frank of Brentford. I think they settled for the bees manager.

Thomas Frank has been excellent in my opinion since taking over the club, Brentford have been looking good season after season and they keep on improving, this season they missed out of the European qualification places just with some points. Looking at Thomas Frank he is highly rated in the league by even managers like Pep Guardiola due to his playing style.

But we shouldn’t get over the hills here I have seen mid table teams managers moving to the top clubs and not been able to replicate the same tactics and success there due to pressure.

Strasbourg's central defender Mamadou Sarr becomes Chelsea's new player after signing an 8-year deal. Chelsea are signing dozens of players but they can't make a success out of such a large squad. I wonder if this will change in the new season. Chelsea will pay 15 million Euro to Strasbourg for the 19-year-old defender. Sarr played for Strasbourg for one season after coming through the youth system of Lyon. He doesn't have a lot of experience. He also plays for France U19 team. Chelsea will probably send him on loan to another team this season. I don't think he will be in the squad planning for the new season. They keep investing in the future but that future never comes.
