The sporting director of Chelsea is so stupid. They hand Dortmund 55 million just to sign a mediocre winger like Gitten. They could get Leao or Nico with such money, but wasted it in Gitten. I can't believe what i'm seeing now.

This sign is showing how they're so dumb, and have no clear plan on how to improve their squad. I don't think Gitten is better than Sancho, and i'd like to call it as a degrade.

Rodrygo is a talented player and will be an addition to Arsenal if thing goes as planned but in my own opinion,I think the price for signing Rodrygo is too expensive and Arsenal isn't a club that loves spending too much money on a single player. The $105 to $123 million meant for signing Rodrygo is outrageous, infact that same amount can be used to sign three young talented players into Arsenal. Mikel Arteta should adopt Arsene wenger strategy of buying players,he should focus on minimizing expenses by avoiding very expensive players like  Rogrygo and Victor osimhen. Mikel Arteta should keep searching for young players that will be less expensive for the club.

By the way, I have often seen statistics of clubs leading in transfer market spending, and Arsenal is always among the top of that list. However, since Arsenal can’t win at least one trophy, I think the management won’t be as willing to spend big money every time Arteta asks for it. Arsenal doesn’t have any problems with the attack, but if there is money, Arteta definitely won’t refuse a good forward.

I totally agree with you. I remember that yesterday, while I was reading this news, I was actually wondering how it was even possible that they thought spending 55 millions for Gittens was a good idea. Chelsea have been buying a lot of players in these years, some were kind of known, other weren't, but I fell like no matter who the player was, they always overpaid. Other teams are spending similar money for players that are ready to play in the starting eleven. I just don't get it.

With the way you have just vetted your anger on this issue, one can easily point out that you're a Chelsea fan because you seem so angry at this news and seriously I can of understand when the Management of the club you support starts doing something like this and the fans gets furious about it. Arsenal have been playing very good football throughout the season but they can't do what they want in some matches and this is a problem they need to solve. The team needs a transfer because Arsenal needs to show their good game in all matches. There are times throughout the season when they lose points one after another, they need to find a solution for this.

If Arsenal gets Osimhen, the team will be stronger in every sense and can eliminate the problems they have in many matches. I think big teams need to show more serious interest in some players in order to solve big problems. Transfers that are wanted to be made in the last stages of the transfer period usually can't be made and teams can finish the whole season without getting the player they want.

I believe Arsenal’s trophy drought is largely because they lack a proper centre forward. This problem has stalled their chances of winning a trophy for 3 years and consistently finishing in second place in the league for three consecutive seasons in a row. Well,  we'll see, but Arsenal have been a solid footballing side for the past two seasons, the addition of Kepa brings depth, competition and also as a back up player for David Raya. I'm sure he'll complement Raya the perfect way. Better than Andrea Onana? Damn right,  I concur. Nicholas Jackson to Arsenal?! I haven't seen such, rather I've seen  Noni Madueke linked with Arsenal. Sesko transfer will sure be done in the month of july.

In fact, if you look at the current realities of the transfer market you will realise that only a small proportion of teams do not overpay for players. It is much more difficult to buy a player at his real estimated fair value, but, all teams who put players on the transfer market want to make money and so they put them on the market for more, obviously others have no choice but to overpay

I think everyone knows that this is a trade. The Portuguese and German teams are the ones who use this trade the best. Especially Borussia Dortmund is the best example in the world in this regard. The path of many star players brought to world football definitely passes through Borussia Dortmund. The most recent example of this is Bellingham who went to Real Madrid. We can also count star players like Haaland who was at Manchester City before him. Of course, we should not forget Lewandowski. Dortmund is the team that caused many players in the world to shine. It is almost impossible to sell a player at market value, especially for Premier League teams. If Premier League teams want a player, they will ask for at least 30% more than the player's value.

Maybe for Raya it will be good support on the bench, but I do not know how good this transfer will be for Kepa, because he will have to spend most of the season on the bench, playing only in cup tournaments, which means not that many matches in the end I think. Whether he will be okay with that is also questionable, it depends on how ambitious he is. And I do not think Arsenal had any problems with their goalkeeper, maybe it is just a backup option for the season. But by the way they are also working well on strengthening the attack, so if Arteta feels this position needs to be reinforced or backed up, I think there is nothing wrong with it, especially if Arsenal have the money for it.

Honestly, no matter how good the players Arsenal brings in, I don’t think they’ll win any major titles as long as player management stays the same. If you look closely, every season Arsenal starts strong but then drops off badly towards the end. Why? Because the same key players are used in every competition, and by the time the business end of the season comes around, they’re just exhausted. If he just focused on one main competition instead of spreading the squad thin, I genuinely believe Arsenal could finally get over the line. It’s not about lacking quality, the squad is actually solid. The problem is how they’re being used.

I hope it isn't more than only a weak rumour about Jackson to Arsenal. Otherwise I can't imagine how disappointed the fans would be.    They are waiting for a big name in the position. A really talented one.

Sesko signing is more realistic than Gyökeres currently. Because Sporting chairman wants an excessive fee which even made Gyökeres angry too. He doesn't want to play there anymore. If he drops out of squad then I wonder whether he will still end up in a Premier League team...

Arsenal is one of the financially stable clubs in Premier League just because of this having 2nd spot in last three seasons while they are having some issues with their squad which preventing them from winning trophies.

Now in this season, they are already done few good changes, but main target is still not achieved which is surely needed to be fixed before start of next season because things could be not easy if they fail to bring quality striker as media reports are coming currently they are having two strikers under their radar but nothing development happening. Osimhen is their target, but things are not clear about future of quality skilled striker because Napoli president has never been good at negotiating so its creation chaos about future of this player but still good time for fixing these issues.
