They've been busy in the transfer market and I hope Amorim gets the right players that he wants so there will be no room for excuses. Manchester United might improve if they get it right, coupled with the fact that the team will only be playing on weekends except in Carling cups (that's if they qualify) and the FA cup competitions.

That said, i don't think missing out on European football would do Manchester United any good, it is not like they are going to win the EPL next season or even anytime soon; remember that they also miss out on the financial benefits of participating in Europe, so it is a loss for them.

From what i saw on Ruben Amorim, he would prolly be sacked next season, he is an average manager with a big ego, much like Erik Ten Hag and i cannot see him turning this United team into winners.

Man City made a good start to their Club World Cup campaign. They won by 2 goals, Man City's statistics are very dominant. There were two new players who appeared as starters Tijani and Rayan Cherki. They both performed quite well, Tijani played the full game while Cheriki came off in the 60th minute. Indeed, this performance is not surprising, because Wydad Casablanca is also not a superior team. Of course the debut of these two players brings good hope for Guardiola. As usual the English Premier League club may have plenty of options but it appears that Victor Osimhen has become a transfer target for many clubs at the moment. I think this player may be struggling with great determination at the moment because he is doing everything he can to the best of his ability wherever he gets the opportunity. You have rightly stated that Arsenal Football Club needs a player who will score a lot of goals for them but this player may not be considered in the Gunners' alternative plans for this transfer target for upcoming season. Playing against an average club with new players still it's not bad at all because now it's good time for having new players on ground and give them good practice while Pepe Guardiola is also doing good work on his strategy which will give them good results in coming season.

Wirtz is a good player, but he shouldn't be worth more than 100 million. Even 100 is a reach, talk more of 150 million.

You are right. Victor Osimhen will surely want a lower salary if his deal to come to Manchester United is sealed. The player wants to play in the Premier League competition, and this will be a dream if any club Osimhen has proved how good he is at football, and that’s why big clubs in the Premier League want him. I feel like Manchester United are more interested in getting him than Liverpool because I have heard more rumours about Manchester United's interest in getting Osimhen than Liverpool's.

He is a midfielder, not a striker, so it is natural that he does not score many goals. However, several things make the German player a little special, apart from his young age with quite promising talent, as a player who plays as an attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz has quite good ball control and dribbling, besides that his passing accuracy is quite high. I think that's what makes him a little special when compared to other midfielders.

Liverpool still has quite good attacks such as Moh, Gakpo Salah and Jota, but to maintain consistency in the long term, they clearly need younger and more promising players, and maybe Wirtz is the answer so that Liverpool is willing to spend a lot of money to bring him from Leverkusen. You can't use stats to judge a midfielder; you have to watch them. I have watched Wirtz, and I can boldly say he's the best player in the world in his position. He is still young and can still improve, but he is very good. When you look at the stats, he scored 16 goals and had 14 assists last season, and the season before that, when they won the league, he had 18 goals and 19 assists. Those are great numbers for a midfielder.
The stats don't tell the whole story. He creates chances, he presses and helps control the game. Liverpool acquired a gem; there's nothing average about Wirtz. You can only say that because you haven't watched him a lot.

He is not worth 150 million, but Liverpool were desperate and Leverkusen were adamant on selling for anything less. If Liverpool had played the long game, they could have gotten him for less, but they needed to move fast because teams like Manchester City, Real Madrid and even Bayern Munich had eyes on the player. I second that, i know they are going to make a few signings this summer, they have already signed Cunha from Wolves, but just as other good players have signed for United and lost their form, the same thing could well happen to some of their new signings, because once a player joins United in recent time, they start to struggle.

Yeah, I can see manchester united are making dramatic moves this summer, they are building a war chest by selling high profile player like Sancho, Rashford, Garnacho, Casemiro & Hjalund. They have already signed Matheus Cunha (£625m) & are on the verge of bringing in Victor Osimhen (£62m)

They are targeting Hugo Ekiti, Victor Gioceres, Brian Mbeumo, & Callum Hudson Odoi to boost their punch one step ahead.

Now Amorim need a balance, not just attack but also central midfield & defence, so that the team is strategically strong not just big names

Being busy in the transfer market is one thing but signing the right players that will help to bring bark the glory of the team is the most important thing for Amorim right now because if he doesn't get things right next season I do not think the management and fans will be willing to accept any excuses from him again because the team really needs positive results.
Manchester United not qualifying for champions League competition next season should give them an edge to focus more on the league and ensure they either win it or qualify among the top4 teams that will be in the champions League for the next season. Before we come into conclusion on the many issues surrounding Manchester United, we should see how their final squad for the next season are going to be presented. The fact is that they’re not going to be playing in any European competition next season and they have all the time they can to train well and be in their best form while also avoiding fatigue of the players, that may be an advantage for them if they’re able to utilize it well.

Last season was sour for them, Amorim will be prepared for what is yet to come for the premier league season for them next season while having maximum concentration on one competition. He better show that he’s the best man for the job because he is really going to get nuked if he doesn’t even get a champions league or at least an Europa league spot for the team at the end of the season.

With Cunha done and Bryan Mbeumo most likely to join, we really need not pressure ourselves for Victor Osimhen considering he won't reduce his salary. If he wants to stay in Europe, these are the necessary sacrifice he's meant to make for himself. Mikel and Jay Jay Okocha must have told him. I don't see Manchester United signing Victor Osimhen,  they'd most likely get the deal done for Viktor Gyökeres.

Liverpool has the money to get the player why keep him priced for long in the transfer market.  You called Florian Wirtz an average player, comparing him to players we have in the Premier League he is more than average. Florian Wirtz is an attacking midfielder, and he scored 10 goals and 12 assists, ranked 4th in combined goals and assists by a midfielder in Europe's top five leagues 2024-25. From Premier it was only Palmer and Wissa that was able to top him alongside Olise who topped the list, It's an understatement to call Florian Wirtz average, judging from what he did last season.

Manchester United current position is far from coming top any time soon, at least not even in the next two seasons ahead will they have that privilege of topping the league, considering have poor Manchester United have played on the last two to three seasons back it make much sense for them to focus at recovering from such a backward position and performance before aiming to win the  league at whatever point.


I thought Manchester United were going to sign new players, that could help them recover like top striker that can easily deliver for the club and changing their current position into something better.

Am not expecting anything from Manchester United by next season, some people are thinking since Amorim is signing new players, everything is going to change by next season, and maybe they are thinking they will be competing for the title race by next season, but I know that’s not even going to be possible.

The season haven’t started yet, but from the way am seeing things, then I don’t think Manchester United will get to the champions league zone by next season. They ended the recent season in 15th position, then am expecting them to end next season in a better position, maybe around 10th which you mentioned, but I don’t think Manchester United will even smell top 5.
