After losing 4-0 to Man City and ending their adventure in the FA Cup this season, I don't think Arne Slot can feel secure about his future in Liverpool.
I believe their plan minimum for the Premier League is to finish in the top 4, they still have a chance to achieve that, but it won't be easy. They are 5 points behind Aston Villa, but Villa's form has been pretty horrible lately, so who knows.

Liverpool clearly missed out on a top-four finish this season. Aston Villa are far better than Liverpool because they have had ample time and aren't competing in other competitions. Arne Slot position should be unsecured, but the question is who are Liverpool preparing to replace him? The club needs to make the right decision.

I would not say that they missed out yet, there are still seven more games to go, which means that five point gap could be closed. However, it's true that they have lost their chance and it's unlikely for them to get there.

So they are going to be the team that lost at quarter finals of UCL, and fifth and no fa cup or any other cup on a season they spent half a billion dollars. I am sorry but Arne Slot should be fired, what else do you need to do in order to be getting fired from this club?

Well, in that respect you're absolutely right, there's no other way to put it. I think City has done a very good job. Unfortunately, big teams, and most of them, only react when the league is almost over, instead of making a better effort from the beginning. I've seen some teams revive themselves at the very end, but that's not the idea. They should do it from the start. We need to wait and watch the 7 best games of Arsenal and City.

There is an improvement in performance of Manchester City lately, but it is not a surprise how they defeated Arsenal in the carabao cup final because i was expecting Manchester City to win the carabao cup. The only way Arsenal can win the league title this season is for them to win upto 5 matches in their remaining matches but from the look of things i do not think Arsenal can be able to win 5 matches for them to finally win the league title, they have been trying so hard to win in the past 20 years.

Man City, as we know, is one of the strong teams in the EPL, so it is not surprising that Man City can beat Liverpool and Arsenal. These three teams are competing to show who is the best. Man City managed to beat Arsenal in the League Cup final and these two clubs will meet again in the main competition towards the end of the season which may determine Arsenal direction, but if Arsenal loses when facing Man City, Arsenal still has a small chance, namely by winning all the remaining matches without exception.

With the way things are going Arsenal might lose out of the title race too. Manchester City are just waiting for one more lose in the league and then winning their next clash with Arsenal while working on reclaiming the top position back from Arsenal. Arsenal winning 5 matches is not a certainty considering how they are flipping recently. Of their remaining 7 matches they have City and Newcastle to play and both games I am certain Arsenal will pull out 3 points from them. It seems Arteta has run out of ideas to maintain his winnings for the rest of the season.

After seeing the defeat in these two matches, many fans of this team may have fallen silent maybe they can revive their legacy by winning the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals against the Portuguese club tonight and my believe will keep their hopes of winning the 25/26 UCL season trophy alive. Even so, our guess is that Portuguese club Sporting should not be overlooked as they could be a stumbling block for Arsenal in tonight's game in the UCL quarter-finals.

It's not that they don't want to have the same momentum from the start of the season but you know that there is always more work ethics and force there is pressure at the end of the season and some teams do exceedingly well under pressure especially when they are not the ones on the spot light and one of those teams is Manchester City and arsenal on the other hand is the direct opposite of handling pressure.

I understand that it may not be easy to convince Xabi Alonso to take this job, after all this team was built badly and the squad management on transfers was terrible, but as long as Xabi could make some moves of himself, and not just use whatever they give him, I am sure he will do fine.

Isak also needs to come back very strong and prove why he is worth the money they paid for him, otherwise it is not going to be easy for Xabi or Arne or any other manager in the world. Yes this is not a terrible team and yes they should have been at least top four with this squad, but I do not see a title winner team here anymore.

Arsenal is at the top of the table right now. But I am really starting to doubt if they are going to win the title this season as well. Because the performance that they have shown in the FA cup was absolutely horrible. Now they are ahead of Manchester City who are on the second position by nine points difference, but the thing that bothers me is, they have played one match more compared to Manchester City. So the potential difference becomes six points now. And we all know how Arsenal can choke.

The Manchester City "failure" is difficult to understand, i dont know who to blame, i mean Haaland for example score a lot less goals but since he is the number 9 of the team maybe he didnt receive good balls to have the clear options to score, plus this time he was not so suit with Marmoush.

I still feel like Manchester City cant replace Julian Alvarez, Gundogan for example.

The Manchester City failure or struggle is as a result of some key players who left Manchester City, the move affected Manchester City's performance and also affected how Haaland score goals for Manchester City right now, and even if Manchester City have a new coach Haaland will not still score a lot of goals as he used to score for Manchester City when he newly signed for Manchester City because Bruyne who used to assist him to score goals is no longer at Manchester City. I think he deserves some more time to prove himself but if Liverpool eventually fire him amid their current situation, Alonso should put himself in Arne Slot shoes and consider himself fired if he performs short of expectation. Alonso was actually with Leverkusen and that boost his public recognition but to be honest, he failed totally at Real Madrid. Liverpool should give him a try thou if they think Slot can not longer deliver.

City are now at a good level, they have won two games in a row against Arsenal and Liverpool. If the tournament started today, I would put them above both Arsenal and Liverpool.

I have been saying this from the beginning. Arsenal is doing well but will they end the season well? Arsenal has been given gamblers good prediction to win their bet but the last matches, might not good for gamblers and that is nature about the club. Even Arsenal will win the league, I will support Manchester City, though I am not a Manchester City fans for now but I believed them more than Arsenal.

The championship is determined by the entire distance, not by segments  City are looking better at the moment but they have a little more time to rest since they lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League. I think Liverpool management are too kind to Arne slot, in spite his poor performances in the league after spending huge sum of money in the summer he's still here. Liverpool can still qualify for the champions League i they can win their remaining games in the league, premier League have a five slots in the champions League next season so it's an opportunity for Liverpool to try and finish at top five, if they miss it then ,they will really struggle next season.

This gives a dangerous impression for Arsenal because even though they are currently still leading the first standings, injuries to several key players could affect Arsenal's overall performance in the Premier League.

I think this is true that an amazing improvements has been seen in the performance of Manchester City. And they are in struggle to get the secure and safe position where they can achieve the all they desired. And this is very good thing for their fans that they are working on their performance to make it the best. And if they struggled and manage their position they can beat Arsenal and Liverpool. But according to the current position of the teams they can beat Liverpool with their strong performance. Because Liverpool is in the position where they can help them to achieve this target. But I think Arsenal is the very strong team they performed good and performed consistently as the best team throughout the season. So, i think Manchester City may face some difficulties to beat Arsenal. And this is not the exact prediction as both teams are working on their way to achieve the best

Arsenal should have a smooth path for the remaining matches ahead. And some of the teams Arsenal will face are relatively easy for them to beat considering that Arsenal has defeated them in every head-to-head match. But only Manchester City poses a strong challenge for Arsenal in their upcoming match in the 33rd round of the Premier League. And I think Arsenal might lose that match given that they will be the away team. However losing points in that match won’t make it easy for Manchester City to overtake Arsenal. The points gap between them is still quite significant. Manchester City can only hope that Arsenal will experience a dip in form in the upcoming matches or even suffer some losses, where it will allowing Man City to quickly close the points gap against Arsenal. If that were to happen the Premier League title race would become even more exciting in the final rounds. And it will make the atmosphere of the matches feel even more tense in every subsequent game. In any case both teams will certainly give their best performance. But I doubt about Arsenal’s performance when they face Manchester City later since they’ll first have to play Sporting CP a few days earlier in the Champions League.

In fact no matter how good the new guy is, changing coach in midseason is a huge gamble. I have seen team sack coach midseason, and they usually do not do anything overnight. It take time for players to adapt to new idea and new training method

I have no doubt that Xabi Alonso is a talented young coach. But he had time to build his own team at Leverkusen and coming to a team that is under pressure to win the Premier League title is huge. If Liverpool do decide to sign him, I think the real challenge is to give him a proper pre season. It would be wise not to expect a miracle that he will turn everything in April or May.
