What's wrong with you guys? Don't you guys pay attention to the Arsenal vs City in community shield tomorrow? Weird to see none talking about it right now while we're less than a day for the game . So as you can see i put my bag on Arsenal believing they have better chemistry with the same coach who won them EPL title last season. I don't underrated CIty's side, but Maresca is new, and he's never beat Arsenal when he was at Chelsea. Although Maresca gets improved squad compared to what he got at Chelsea, but i don't even think it will change the result. But it will feel a bit weird to see Arsenal will play without Trossard who often helped them scored in crucial game. What's your choice? I almost forgot that the Community Shield will be okayed tomorrow between Manchester City and Arsenal, it is not going to be easy for both teams because they are all but completely set for next season. Some Arsenals first team players are yet to ply any preseason match, they just resume after the World Cup, they need sometime to blend into the team fully, but these players that comeback from line will help and some of the new signings will also help especially Christos Tzolis who was signed to replace Trossard. I am behind Arsenal tomorrow because I know that Manchester City team is not as strong as they used to be, Pep Guardiola is out, and some players also left the club, I think it will take Maresca sometimes to make the team great again.

Ruben Amorim that was sacked as Manchester United manager last season who later became AC Milan's manager this summer led his team to play a friendly game today again the English club and defeated them 4:2 and it seems we've not been saying much about the game.
Though it was a friendly game but I saw Manchester United fans who were calling for the sack of Amorim last season bragging before the game about how they'll beat AC Milan but ended up getting cooked. Is this what we're going to see from Manchester United this season or they'll improve from?

Do you believe that the match could end without BTTS (yes)?
Arteta had a good tactical approach last season, and I think he will use a similar approach in tomorrow’s match, prioritizing defense before launching quick and sharp attacks. Meanwhile, Enzo Maresca may not yet fully understand the strategies and tactics Arteta will use. So there’s a good chance City could also struggle to score.
I’d rather bet on Under 3.25 than choose an option that carries too much risk.
In that game I will actually be looking more like over 2 and also BTTS. I wouldn’t underrate Enzo Maresca because his stint at both Leicester city and also Chelsea most especially at the club World Cup where he won against Europe best sides. He established himself and I see as a tactical manager that can adapt fast, watching their preseason i actually would be surprised if they don’t score one against this Arsenal. Yes Arsenal has the best in Europe but that defense isn’t strong yet because the like of William Saliba are out of the squad and usually his replacements are not in his class, so even without Halaand I think Manchester city would this score and same as Arsenal too because Manchester City are heavily let in goals into their post at the moment

Maresca first significant match happens to be a final, and it's quite interesting because he is going to start with Best team of England and there is a lot of expectations from fans in how it will be. Meanwhile without being sentimental Arsenal is a more balanced team and has a higher chance of winning it, but I will not be surprised if Manchester City comes out victorious, I will only be impressed at the over all team performance and maresca speedy effect with the already good team.

I hope you win though because, this is a trophy that Arsenal certainly can lift, given the fact that Pep is no longer with the team and it would be a test of strategy with Maresca but, we would expect that he would want to prove himself by winning a title way early in his career with the team. Let’s just hope Arsenal don’t go defensive and try to take this game to extra time. 4.80 odds is a lot of odds for an Arsenal win and BTS.

Ruben Amorim was sack as Man united coach because he was already taking to club to relegation, sacking him was the best thing that happened to Man united last season. There was a massive improvement in united team after the sack of Amorim, Carrick took the team to where people never expected. Ac millan match with Man united yesterday was a friendly game nothing too serious about it so if Amorim who is the present coach of AC millan now happens to win Man united doesn't mean that Man united made a wrong decision by letting him go, soon premier league will start then we will see if they improve or not.

No man this is not how football works, it is true that Arsenal won the tittle last season with still same coach and players but we can't use this as a criteria for them to win Manchester City, remember that Manchester City won Arsenal in the league last season also defeated Arsenal 2-0 in the Carabao Cup final, so let's not just conclude, it will be a tough game which any side is capable of winning.

Sacking Ruben Amorim was the best thing for Manchester United last season. Although Ruben Amorim position in the premier league standings wasn't that bad before they sacked him. If I could remembered I think he was either sitting at the 6th or 7th place on the table, but with his coaching style he might actually have led the team to relegation as you said. If Michael Carrick had been the one that start with Manchester United last season, he would have done much better, it's even possible he could have won them a trophy because that was what people expected from Ruben Amorim and which he failed.

Huh, did I hear you right when you said Carrick is better than Arteta? Arteta has already won a Premier League title, whereas Carrick hasn’t won anything with Manchester United. How can you possibly say Carrick is better than Arteta?
Perhaps he's a die hard Manchester United fan, leading him to always blindly favor Manchester United sides. In fact, Mikel Arteta had already delivered several trophies before they won the league title last season, such as 1x FA Cup & 2x FA Community Shield. Unlike Carrick, during his time as manager, whether interim or otherwise, he never delivered a single trophy to Manchester United. That's clearly what sets the two managers apart & we can conclude that at least so far Mikel Arteta is the better one. It seems so. I’ve come across many Manchester United fans like him who blindly support their team with their ridiculous behavior. Fans like this, who claim Carrick is better than Arteta, should first study the statistics and achievements of both coaches before jumping to such ridiculous conclusions. Only someone who’s out of their mind would say Carrick is better than Arteta.

Considering that this is the toughest test that both teams will face in the build up to the already set season, you can easily tell what's going on in both coaches mind. For arsenal, winning the community shield against Manchester city will be a big statement that tells that they are ready to go into the start of the season on a very good note as the defending champions and for Manchester city, it's all about proving that maresca is capable of winning big games. Hed struggled while at Chelsea when it comes to winning against big teams and spectators will want to see how he approaches this huge responsibility.

That defensive tactic arteta always uses against big teams is the reason why I always have less confidence in Arsenal winning against big teams, especially when they meet in a cup final. If Arteta can change that fully defensive tactic against Manchester City today, they will likely win the Community Shield. But, as far as I know, I don’t know what tactics he may use in the coming match. I would prefer to go for Manchester City to win and both teams to score rather than stake on Arsenal, because I just feel that Arteta may end up coming up with that defensive pattern, as it won him the Premier League last season and also took Arsenal to the Champions League final.but that may not really help them beat Manchester City, despite Guardiola is no longer being Manchester City head coach, because even Maresca is very good with attacking tactics and has great attackers to do that for him.

Super Cup finals, and finals cup matches in England in general, are often not very high scoring. So I think this match could follow a similar pattern, with the score potentially being 1-0 or 2-0 in favor of either team. In other words, the total could easily be under, and it’s quite possible that both teams won’t score. As for an Arsenal win, I also have some doubts here. To be honest, I haven’t even decided on a bet yet. I was thinking about Manchester City’s team total over 1, but I’m not very confident that there will be many goals. So I might just watch the match and maybe place a live bet on something.

The transfer news has taken everybody's mind off the main business, imagine how the whole thing is that even when we have la Liga going on it still doesn't look like the season have started, well this is the main concern today, the final of the community shield cup between epl champions Arsenal vs Man City. That is a bold move you made right there to see Arsenal coming out as the winner and a both team score, it seems tempting but I have that feeling that Arsenal might go on to win with a clean sheet because the City we see today is entirely different from that of last season and the former Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca doesn't have what it takes to maintain that aggressiveness Pep Guardiola left the club with, it will be tough which means Arteta will hold on to this one let Maresca create his own path with the players.

I'm neutral because while a lot of people thinks Pep is gone and Arsenal would have the upper hand they should also remember that Maresca had an experience under Pep and also have experience in the Premier League, moreover most of the players Pep had are still in the club which gives Maresca a solid team to work with, this is his opportunity to impress the management and fans so he'll want to gain that trust by winning this match. Afterall Manchester City still have their goal machine Haaland and they added Elliot Anderson to midfield they're still a strong team with an experienced Premier League coach.

Manchester United has no regrets sacking Reuben amorim because it was in the best interest of the club as they weren't progressing in the table and their ranking in the table were going down so they have to sack him before he lands the them in relegation. Eversince Micheal Carrick came to light as their coach, there has been big improvements in their performance, usually Manchester United performance before Carrick came was a laughter but things have been different now because Carrick has changed that narrative. Furthermore, united lost to AC Milan is not a big deal because it was a friendly and it's not a major game. If it wasn't in an important competition,we could have admitted that amorim has improved AC Milan but since it's was a friendly match,we can't use it to determine which team is better.

This is my sentiment when discussion like this, is been brought up, looking down on every team and making it look like there is no manager that can challenge Arteta since Pep is no longer in the English premier League might come with surprises, football is not played with mouth, rather it is a game that's played in the field with two different teams challenging each other, in addition to what you said, did Guardiola left with the players in his team, the answer is nothing but what you have stated already, for me, I think arsenal should take events more seriously this time, because apart from Manchester city, other teams are not coming for jokes this season, arsenal is a strong side no doubt but strong team can be taken unaware.

From the lineups I just see for this match, it is a serious match, both Arsenal and Manchester City are very ready to win this trophy, their lineups are all their best players I must say not the player that all used for preseason games because David Raya is starting for Arsenal, and Arteta being in almost every important players that are fit for the game because the trophy is important to them, Manchester City also lineup their best squad, although Rodri is out of the lineup maybe injury or something different related to the transfer saga but I don’t think there will be much problem in their squad as well. As it stands, any team can win, but Arteta will want to win it in order ti boost the team’s confidence towards defending the premier league title, so I think Arsenal will win the game.

But isn’t the situation very different when he was at Chelsea and when he was at Man City? At Chelsea, he may have had the pressure to make a major impact, and he was able to do that fairly easily. But at Man City, one of the biggest clubs in the EPL, there is much more pressure surrounding the rebuilding process, as well as the fans’ expectations for City to perform at the same level as they did under Guardiola. And now the formation and lineups have been announced, and after seeing the lineups, I’ve slightly changed my mind and decided to go with the bet builder option of Under 3.5 + BTTS (no). Hopefully, I get lucky.

A great statement from Carrick regarding Rashford. There may be some truth to the idea that in the 2026/2027 season, we’ll see Manchester United’s midfield combine with their best striker, making them a team with the potential to win the EPL title. Arsenal and Manchester City must anticipate Manchester United’s resurgence in the 2026/2027 season. While Arsenal will still have Arteta at the helm, the same cannot be said for Manchester City, whose partnership with Pep Guardiola has come to an end. It’s unlikely that Maresca will automatically be able to manage the team the way Pep did—including handling the Rodri transfer situation.
It's true, and I also think that in Manchester United's case, Carrick has implemented something very good that even Barcelona uses: the classic 4-3-3. When they have a lot of attacking options down the flanks and are going for a direct attack, they can switch to a 3-2-5, making the defenders constantly attack and the players at the back defending rely on the offside trap. Carrick has done this, and this approach is so good now that it no longer works with the classic 4-4-2, which are much more conservative formations. I don't know exactly how the Rodri situation will end up, but I have a feeling it won't change, because Barcelona has either sold Ferran Torres or they practically have him ready. But I imagine that the Rodri signing will take a back seat and they'll focus solely on Julian Alvarez to see if they can bring him in.

In as much as I would love to believe that everyone is unique in their own way which is to say that Arteta can be better than Carrick in some areas while Carrick also can be be better than Arteta in some areas too but in overall Arteta is far better than Carrick. I think I know where the thought of saying that Carrick is better than Arteta is come from, I strongly believe it was because of last season when Carrick entered Manchester united and defeated almost all the big teams in English premier league including Arsenal.
