Another friendly match ended today. Chelsea was drawing with Inter Milan. What I'm concerned about is how Yann Sommer served as a big wall for Inter Milan today. He blocked everything, but Lesley was able to score for Chelsea in the last minute of game.

In this game, Chelsea was also presenting their new player, namely Pedro Neto from Wolves. Inter Milan's performance is not that bad, though. They played more defensively than Chelsea. And i see some improvement from Chelsea today.

Some Blues players, such as Renato Veiga, Samu, and Tosin, showed outstanding performances. I am totally aware if this is a friendly game, but they deserve it.

To be honest, Chelsea performed great in this game against Inter Milan, since the start of the pre-season, they have not defended as well as they did against Inter Milan. The Chelsea defense improves, it seems that Enzo Maresca has learned from previous pre-season games since their performance in this match is different. If they continue this way, Chelsea will have a chance to finish in the top ten next season.

Chelsea F.C. team is also my favorite team due to this kind of effort. All players learn from their mistakes and we didn't see that kind of behavior by any team .  We saw Ugochukwu and that played did good goal by using his mind and that was not easy task for everyone to do goal at that moment but he achieved his goal by doing goal at moment.Then Chelsea F.C. team defensed well and we saw good result and that was 1-1 . In comparison, Inter Milan team should attack in thr end and they should take risk but they didn't try and they are not winner of this match due to their small mistakes. They should learn from that they want to alive on good position and any time they they can lose ranking.

The results achieved in the friendly match cannot be used as a reference for Chelsea overall performance, Inter Milan may not be too instant in the game because if something unwanted happens it will have fatal consequences for them. Mistakes made last season need to be evaluated to maintain the increasingly fierce competition this season. Chelsea have tried their best to be able to compete again in the top four, but whatever results are achieved this season depends on how the coach manages the team.
The first game of the EPL has started, Chelsea will welcome a tough guest who won the EPL last season. Facing Manchester City is not an easy job for Enzo Maresca, he will have difficulty winning in his debut handling Chelsea because Manchester City is always able to give surprises to its opponents, especially since Chelsea players are adapting to their new coach.

A good result captured by Liverpool today, 2-0 win over Ipswich. The first half went terrible for them to tell the truth. I got bored so much in that half too. 

But Liverpool finally started to show us something in the second half. A complete dominance brought about 2 goals. A great start by Salah, a goal and an assist.    I'm really glad to see him staying in the Premier League for another season. He is still a very valuable part of the team. They rumoured he would sign for a Saudi Arabia team this summer but there is no deal on the table. My biggest worry about them is their not making any signing during the whole summer.

There is no other reason except the difference in player quality and Man City's mentality is much better than Chelsea even though they were able to hold a draw at the end of the match but I have begun to believe that Man City will not allow Chelsea to prevent Pep Guardiola's troops from getting 3 points in the first match of the season.
According to my prediction, the match will most likely end with a very narrow victory such as 2-1 or 1-0.

Agreed. We're starting poorly in the first half. But, I'm glad Slot saw some needed adjustments and made them at halftime. Then, it changes the situation a lot, and that was a really fun second half. No doubt that people called Arne Slot the half-time king. And this is the same as what he did at Feyenoord. And it seems Slot really fit us today.

But Liverpool finally started to show us something in the second half. A complete dominance brought about 2 goals. A great start by Salah, a goal and an assist. 

Salah excelled in the second half. He set a new record as the only EPL player with the most goals in the opening week of the league. But other than him, Gravenberch was fantastic in that game. And he deserves appreciation too.

Man Utd have to do well this season surely or Ten Hat should be sacked. This is his third season now and they are no nearer to winning the PL or CL since he arrived.

He has spent £600,000,000 now. No more excuses, he must compete for the big trophies (not FA Cup or League Cup).

Erik ten Hag will definitely do well this season. No excuses but then, after that game against Fulham United yesterday night, Manchester United need to get the deal for Manual Ugarte done and that of a new left fullback for depth. I don't think he'll be sacked and most importantly, Manchester United has what it takes to win another silverware at the end of this season. Don't forget the club was in shambles when he came in. Don't act like Erik Ten Hag inherited a sqaud a great and quality players.

I don't see him winning the Premier League Competition in between, but I'm damn sure he'll amongst the first top clubs.

The sqaud has got no better depth in midfied. I'm not sure Manchester United can win shit with Scott MC Tominay and Erikson. In my head, they also need a backup player for the five times Champions League winner ( Casemiro ). I don't think Manchester United has what it takes to win the Premier League Competition at the end of the premier league campaign.

Liverpool started the season with a 2-0 win over Ipswich Town today so this victory was a good start for Arne slot and Liverpool to undergo this season, even though the first half went not well for Liverpool but slowly they were able to develop their game in halft first match, even by fielding their best squad, Liverpool were unable to create many opportunities that endangered Ipswich defense in match, In fact, I saw that in the first half Ipswich was able to trouble Liverpool defense, but fortunately the defense and beckker had to work hard to break every attack built by Ipswich Town.

Liverpoolgame actually started to improve after the second half started and Arne slot actually started to change their pattern of play in that match, so it was very clear that their attacks started to be very aggressive in breaking down the opponent defense, the two goals scored in the match were through a fast game scheme which in my opinion very good even compared to their game in pre-season, currently Liverpool have shown a very good performance in their first match and hopefully they will still be able to maintain their consistency in the trophies competition this season.

However, Manchester United and Newcastle both found it difficult to win this match considering that Fulham and Southampton really put up strong resistance. Meanwhile, Arsenal and Liverpool have opponents who tend to be easier. These two teams didn't face much resistance from their opponents, so their victory was basically predictable. The Chelsea and Manchester City match will take place tomorrow, it is a big match that will be tense.

Comparing Manchester United with Liverpool and Arsenal I think is clearly different, because from the previous few seasons also Arsenal and Liverpool at least managed to become trophy title contenders. But for Manchester United,  they are only able to struggle to maintain their position in a good position in the Premier League standings, but not enter the title race as happened to Arsenal and Liverpool. It is a good thing, seeing Liverpool starting well, and this shows that they are right for the Premier League title fight. Some people did not put Liverpool into consideration as a team that can win the Premier League trophy this season, based on their last season's performance and also because Klopp is no longer their head coach. But from what little I have observed from Liverpool's preseason performances, it is very possible that they can win the Premier League this season. Many people are just keeping their eyes on Manchester City and Arsenal for winning the Premier League and talk less about Liverpool. I can't say much now because it early match, but let see what will s happen as season advance.

I predicted a win and clean sheet for both Liverpool and Arsenal. They have been decent from last season and couple with the kind of opponents they were playing, I expected them to easily beat them.
Liverpool and Arsenal are serious contenders of the EPL title this season. They gave us a glimpse of what we are going to witness this season in their preseason games.
Arsenal just resumed their form from last season. They were going to beat Wolves with ease. They are taking things very seriously this season as they want to win something big.

Chelsea will have a chance against Manchester City tomorrow. They didn’t lose to them last season both home and away. The new manager effect will definitely come to play tomorrow and couple with the absence of Rodri. I think they’ll get a point or more.

Mixing players with poor management conditions has indeed made it difficult for Chelsea in recent seasons, it is no wonder that Chelsea has so many players and even seems to be throwing money away, even so Chelsea always tries to shape players to be better in every season at least to have consistency in building the team so that everything is good this season, at least Chelsea must have a good target this season to be able to compete with other top teams.

It's the same problem like in Manchester United, they have poor management and they still not want to reshuffle their management to become better team. They will always stuck in this circle, they will not able to become a champion and at the same time they will not be relegated.

I predict Chelsea will finish below 7 positions.

Chelsea is the most aggressive team currently in the transfer market, but if we look at their performance in pre-season matches, it is clear that there has been no improvement in their current performance and game, last season Chelsea was quite slow in the league and this make they had to end the season outside the big four, So what happened last season should be a lesson for Enzo Maresca to start the season better next season, the competition next season will definitely increase considering that many clubs have currently optimized their squads and Chelsea must be able to try better than what they did from other teams, to be honest, although currently Chelsea has completely overhauled the squad they have,  but for some reason I doubt that they will be able to get a place in the top 4 zone next season.

Manchester United also experienced a fate that was no different from Chelsea last season and they are also starting to improve the quality of the squad they currently have, although it is not as extravagant as Chelsea, but we can also say that the recruitment of Leny yoro at a high price was very reckless.

Because they seemed hungrier than Liverpool from the beginning to the end. It could have ended by a bigger goal gap easily actually. But Wolves resisted well to prevent a disaster.

I didn't like Liverpool in the first half on the other hand. They didn't seem capable of even finding the target. It improved later on thanks to Salah's starting to take responsibility. A solid start by scoring a goal and making an assist.

Let's not really react like United is the only team that spent a lot of money and couldn't find any success. I agree that they spent a lot compared to what they did last season and they should have done better and I also do agree that Erik Tan Hag should be fired and he is not a great manager.

However, there are many teams that spent a lot and still couldn't do that well, namely Chelsea of course. United at least has a third place before last season, which means that they are at least trying to do well sometimes, if they do fine this season as well then that means only one bad season in between and nothing more which is fine because it happens sometimes. I believe that United will be fine this season too, a top four finish looks like a possible way but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with a great result like a title win, that feels like that's not going to end up happening anytime soon because City vs Arsenal battle seems to decide that.

Ipswich are basically not a match for Liverpool in my opinion, so I might wonder why Liverpool couldn't score in the first half. Liverpool clearly dominated the match statistically, but things didn't go to plan until they ended the first half goalless.

Domination and better attack intensity in the second half ultimately allowed Liverpool to score 2 goals in the 5 minutes between the first and second goals. Diogo Jota and Salah both scored goals in this match, they were 2 winning goals which made Liverpool lock in 3 points in their away match to Portman Road. Arsenal and Manchester United also won, it was an expected win.

The bigger clubs that competed in this first match, they all managed to win from their opponents. This was a satisfying first match though.

This is quite an interesting match between Newcastle vs Southampton. Fabian Schar got a red card in the 28th minute. So Newcastle played with only 10 players, their ball possession dropped drastically, their defense was very threatened, but they were able to take advantage of the only opportunity to score a goal and were able to defend the goal from many opponent attacks. Cool, for Newcastle.

I never expected Liverpool to start the season with such a good performance. Since there is a change in their coach, I was expecting their performance to drop a little bit at the beginning of the season. If they are going to be back in form, then it’s going to take some time, but from the way they played today and the matches they played during the pre season, it’s just obvious that having a change in coach doesn’t have any impact on them, which is a good one for them. Let’s see how their performance will go in the coming matches.

A good start for Liverpool and of course for Slot which is what they have to do for the start of the season so that there is hope for Liverpool and confidence in Slot who can make Liverpool better than last season.
Although their opponent is Ipswich which is a promotion club this season but I think with a score of 2 goals for Liverpool it is good enough for the first match.

In addition, Slot's playing style for this first match is also a little different. I initially thought of the same scheme as what Klopp did where they would use 3 strikers with a 4-3-3 formation but Slot tried something new where he kept Jota as a pure striker and raised Szoboszlai's position as a second striker and lowered Diaz's position with Salah to create 3 players behind Jota.
What's interesting about this is that Nunez was not played, is Nunez's proving period over and considered a failure with Slot's new formation at this time I think it will be interesting to see Nunez's future at Liverpool if this formation is always used by Slot.
