Pochettino experienced bad luck even though last season he was able to bring Chelsea to end the season in 6th place, the slow start they started made it difficult for Chelsea to penetrate the Champions League last season, but slowly their were able to penetrate the European League zone although in the end they failed to get it because of Manchester United victory  in the FA, but what Pochettino achieved is still not enough to keep him as Chelsea coach at this time, to be honest I think Pochettino dismissal as Chelsea coach was not because he failed to reach the European or Champions League zone next season but maybe there was another reason which caused him to be fired.

Of course there are reasons behind Pochettino's dismissal as Chelsea coach, one of which is Chelsea's performance which has not improved. Some other reasons I think of are that Chelsea and Pochettino failed to achieve the targets agreed in the contract, but I never knew what they agreed to in it. But whatever it is, Chelsea management should be able to give Pochettino more than one season to prove his capacity and ability as a coach. Of course one season is never enough to bring much improvement.

Chelsea new era has begun with a new coach who is considered capable of handling young players, Enzo Maresca, who succeeded in bringing Leicester City promotion to the English league last season, Of course, it is now the hope of management and fans to see Chelsea wil  be better in next season, and in fact to make this happen todd Boehly has budgeted a lot of money to recruit new players at this time, so that if Enzo Maresca fails to achieve perfect results next season, it is not impossible that he will be fired in a bad way by Chelsea later.

The same thing might happen to Enzo Maresca, who has now been appointed as Chelsea's new coach. They can't even decide if they want to keep Gallagher or sell him. Chelsea has over 50 players in their first team, if I'm not mistaken the players should be close to 60 and you feel they're ready? What are they doing with that amount of players? Chelsea signs new players every week, and they haven't sold. How will they pick 11 players that will play each match with 5 substitutes? But that is not even the bigger issue, the bigger issue is that these players are not proven players, they're just average young players with a bit of potential.
You look at Chealsea's starting 11 or full squad and you'll never believe they spent over a billion to assemble those players.

Chelsea’s problem started from their new owners, the new owners wanted a fast result from the team which was why they spent a lot of money to buy expensive players, they were not patient to give the coaches and the players time to get used to each other for a better result, they keep changing managers thinking it will yield a better result; now it has become a problem to them as they have gathered a lot of players which has now became a task for the new manager to chose among them who is starting and who is not starting.
There will be problem in the dressing room if Enzo Maresca is not careful with his selection, because some players will not be patient enough to wait for their time and there will be some unjust mode of selection depending on the managers choice.

Now, they have signed some new players again to add to the previous ones they had in their squad, and the manager must find space for them to play because he signed them.

It becomes very useless of course, having many players in the squad but not really promising for good results. Thus, there is certainly no certainty for Chelsea whether they are ready or not to be a team that can compete  strongly in the title race next season. But indeed, if only considering the many players in the squad, at least it can be said that Chelsea is ready to play with many rotation that is safe to do because it has many players.

But the problem is, none of them are really capable of making Chelsea have consistent results throughout the season. Indeed,  Enzo Maresca is highly expected to be able to improve Chelsea's performance and quality but anyway, throughout the pre-season matches also the fact that they are difficult to get impressive results. Therefore,there is still no guarantee about the quality that Chelsea has, because the competition in the Premier League is also certainly becoming more difficult.

I won't come here saying I know him too well or saying I've watched him but he will be an upgrade to them all.



Football has really evolved and for you to catch up with other clubs you need to get players who are good examples of a modern day player or goalkeeper.
Filip Jorgensen is a modern day goalkeeper, when it comes to making saves, passing skills with both legs as a goalkeeper, ball distribution and confidence, he got that. You can go see his highlights for Villarreal last season.

Sanchez is a flop, do I need to tell you that again? Petrovic is not a good ball playing goalkeeper so he cannot thrive under the new manager. I'm afraid he needs to find a new club and the same with Arizabalaga Kepa. Real Madrid wants him anyways. I don't know how this ends for him.

As for how they play, Chelsea will improve, I feel like they'll have a good start with this manager. Go tale a look at the history they had with Italians. Enzo Maresca will also be another successful Italian manager managing Chelsea I'm certain. He needs to solve the defense anyways.

Will this be Arsenal's year I wonder... For the last 2 years they have been trying and trying but still not PL title at the end of the day.    Especially that effort in the last season was incredible!

Arteta wants to see a real striker in the club but still no agreement made with a player. Gyökeres has been at the centre of their rumours for the position but sill no result. He would be a great choice in fact.

If Merino rumours are also true then it would be for the benefit of them. He has drawn more attention after Euro 2024 as you know. Merino - Gyökeres both can make a big addition to team productivity.

Todd Boehly has invested a lot of money now to build Chelsea into a title contender, but Todd Boehly should also have the patience to see Chelsea become champions in the future because after all investing a lot of money does not guarantee that they will immediately become champions in leagues and European competitions, because  it takes a lot of time for the process of developing a team and this is not easy to do although they have a great coach,

This is why, in this transfer market, Chelsea also recruited many players who are still very young. There are even 3 players who are still under 20 years old. While in other positions, they also recruited players who are not actually top but they have the talent, and their age is still very productive. And 1 more, they seem to not intend to spend too much money for just 1 player. That is why Chelsea is very careful in making decisions regarding Osimhen who until now has not been done deal.

You know what is fun about that line up? It's still a lower number than what Chelsea has lol. I mean we all know that Arsenal will finish better than Chelsea, and yet they have like a much worse team on valuation, when they should be a lot more. Sometimes it is not about what valuation your players have, it's about how they play together which makes all the difference. Obviously we are going to see Arsenal do a lot better together because they know how to be better together, they are a proper team and not just some individually talented group of players.

This is why I think it's quite easy to say that Chelsea needs to spend a lot more time together, instead of keep selling/firing players and keep getting better ones. That is of course same issue for United but the yare probably trying to change that soon, they still got awful a lot of players, but they are trying their best to change the ship around with this new INEOS ownership, trying to be more like Arsenal and not like Chelsea.

This will take some years of course, look at Yoro and Hojlund, they are already injured, so you can't see United be awesome right away, but in a few years they could actually be good, they just need time to build some chemistry.

I think Chelsea is not ready to face the new season. Also, i don't really understand who you called that as brilliant signings by Chelsea. Chelsea is recruiting many inexperienced players. It's also selling its experienced ones, like Gallagher. Chelsea still has some friendly matches remaining against City and Inter
My point is that if Chelsea can equally to Manchester City and Inter Milan in the next friendly games. Then, I think Chelsea will do well in the current season.

Also, Chelsea is now trying to stay away from being sanctioned due to its violation of the PSR rules. To be honest, if you read the latest report on Chelsea's finances, it said they might get sanctioned by the FA. This is because their quarterly losses exceeded £105 million.

One thing is Clear it will be a very difficult decision to instantly build a team around this large number of just raw talent. First I don’t know why Chelsea is trying to sell of someone who happens to be their only fit senior player last Season and apparently their best player to me after Cole Palmer, when the news for Thiago Silva leaving broke out I had thought that Chelsea would retract back their decision to sell off Gallagher who to me is their captain at the moment, I know Chelsea is scared of losing him for free since he hasn’t agreed to sign new contract which I also understand is point of Chelsea not meeting his demand. He wants more than two season and an improved wage which is not bad, Chelsea just need to strike a balance instead of selling him.

As for Chelsea bad performance In this preseason matches I will say I don’t rate it that much, there are clubs that usually lose their preseason matches and later go on to win the league, example is Manchester United, so I wouldn’t say if Chelsea loses theirs it means the season will be bad for them.

Just as they say you can be a third time lucky, i remember Liverpool trailing Manchester City for two seasons until they got lucky the third time and won the league, this last two season has actually made Arsenal realized that they need more fire power to go and over take Manchester City. The two key positions which is the central midfield position and the striking role is a very good place that Arsenal had been lacking last season. Mikel Merino although not talked about that much could be their solution after his impressive season last time with Real Sociedad. Should get this two target they could go all the way

Chelsea played quite badly in the first half because Haaland was able to score 2 goals in the first half. I don't see any better strength than Chelsea in this match because they had difficulty balancing Manchester City's game. Even though this was just a friendly match, the team's performance under Maresca's guidance did not improve at all. Bobb even managed to increase City's lead to 3-0 and it's possible there will be lots of goals because there's still plenty of time left in the match.
The defense line was so fragile that it was quite easy for Haaland et al to launch attacks. It seemed very difficult for Colwill to break up the many attacks carried out by City players because he failed to break several good passes.

When coaches change, schemes and players are bound to change and now some players who don't fit into Enzo Maresca's plans will certainly be let go.
It's a normal thing in the end because after all, with a different scheme of play, there are bound to be players who leave and come to make Enzo's ideal line-up and it's definitely not going to be the same as what Poche did before.

This is one of the reasons that too many transitions lead to money being wasted and players coming and going so quickly that performance becomes unstable as a result of the season after season, which damages the chemistry that is actually being built.

At the moment, Enzo Maresca's actions are not as extreme as the previous coach but seeing from what is happening now, the reshuffle will still be done especially by looking at the friendly matches Chelsea did, they actually don't have a good thing to be proud of before the new EPL season starts.

Yes, I think all fans around the world want the best for their club, whatever the plan of coach even if it's better for the club the fans should be welcome with all the club's plans. I saw Enzo Maresca begin to mix the best composition formation, at least he tried to make fans happy and gives hope for this session will get the tittle premier league. but still, it also depends on policy the Chelsea owner. If top management always support to buy some potential player, I think Enzo Maresca won't mess around financial club to buy more. Has anyone noticed how Chelsea are treating their home grown players? It's a disrespectful way to go about such a thing honestly. How can they treat Trevor Chalobah and Conor Gallagher forcing them out of the club these way? I'm disappointed in them and the management. These are core players for the club, one had a good contribution last season for Chelsea, while the other won the Champions League Competition. This is indeed awful!

You are right Chelsea under the leadership of Todd Boehly and the new manager wants to implement a different strategy they want to make a lot of changes and get rid of players who they think are not contributing much even though in reality these players are important players whose presence on the field has been very important, the club does have full authority regarding the rules that must be obeyed and the players also can't do anything but surrender to the club's decision, Chelsea currently can't appreciate hard work whether it's towards players or coaches if they don't give the appropriate expectations then the club will fire the coach or sell the player even though they have improved progress significantly it's sad the club should be aware that making Chelsea strong again takes which is not fast time.


Btw in the Liverpool vs Manchester United today match they beat MU with a big score of 3:0 without giving MU a chance to retaliate. This match is quite easy to guess because in the previous match Liverpool was also able to beat Arsenal and previously Arsenal beat Man United so in the meeting between Liverpool and Manchester United it is clear that Liverpool will be the favorite to win, but bookies give quite high odds on Liverpool

There are different from Chelsea that lost yesterday to Manchester City. Liverpool’s squad is a stable one, they will only need to adjust to the new manager's  details and those new stuffs aren’t too different from what’s obtainable under Klopp. All of the players played together last season for one.. so it wouldn't be a strange environment.
With the way they have been playing in the preseason, it’s obvious that they are going to challenge for the EPL title with Arsenal and Manchester City. They have a good and decent squad. Maybe one or two defensive signing(s) will keep them going into the season.

All of them have been targeted to be sent far away from the team but they still remain.    There isn't much time left for the new season to begin so what's taking the Red Devils so long?

Greenwood has left the team before all of them. I would rather see him staying instead as he would be much more useful than these useless names. It seems like Rashford is also not leaving that easy. He has been like good in one season and bad in another. The last time was his very bad time so hopefully he can turn it into some good this season.    If only they manage to sell these names... This is quite confusing actually because the current Manchester United squad is the result of what Ten Hag built himself so if at this time no one is to blame except Ten Hag and indeed it is also appropriate for Manchester United management to encourage or support Ten Hag to be able to improve his squad.

I also see how bad the quality of Manchester United players is at this time which makes their team's game chaotic and I am not surprised by that.
But let's just wait and see what changes Ten Hag will make for next season.

And the spotlight is more on the Liverpool team, Liverpool's new coach can still make this team's performance quite stable even though there have been no significant changes, I think this is a positive signal.
