The first game of matchday 9 is behind us. Leicester received a solid beating from Nottm Forest in front of their own audience. The loss could've been much worse as Nottm Forest had plenty of scoring chances.
But if anything, Leicester, despite the 65% possession, looked completely flat and out of place. That's not to mention schoolboy's mistakes like the one with the first goal when Leicester defender couldn't clear the ball and ended up passing it to Yates. But I guess Leicester's goal for this season is just to not get relegated.

This season Nottm Forest played well as the beginning of the season. Until now, they have only lost 1x when they played against Fulham. The followingare draws and wins. Even this club also beat Leicester City with 3 goals and only 1 reply, Although they did not dominate the ball, their attacks were very effective.

The fact that this team has conceded  few goals  and often try to salvage a win or draw for for me as been one of the most  impressive feat by them. They're really trying and hope they can continue with their fine form and make it to European competitions this season.

They may not dominate but when given a goal opportunity often use it well, while their defense and goalie as been good,  Nuno Espírito has been doing well to get his coaching career better again.

I just realised they currently have 2nd best defence in the league. They've only conceded 7 goals, which is less than Arsenal or Man City. Only Liverpool is better with only 3 goals lost so far, but it's worth reminding that one of those goals was scored by Forest in a surprise 1-0 away win.
Who knows, if they push a little harder and start aiming for more wins than draws, they might have a chance even for the top 4.

I don't think they need to push themselves thus far to finish top 4, as they're playing like the underdog it's better if they can't a win, then they geat a draw, no too much pressure and eyes on them, though we can't ignore the fact that they are slowly getting more recognition and this will even continue.

Also the top 4 spot is a hard one from the fact that Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool are likely going to get the top 3 spot while the likes of every other teams, notably Aston Villa, has to fight for the last spot, which so much difficult, though I can't ignore the fact that something might just happen and team I mentioned above, one or two may not even make it to top 4 but as it's going they more likely will.

The way Aston Villa are performing is not to say that Aston Villa are not performing consistently. This Premier League team is definitely performing well and may continue this performance till the end of the season.

Manchester City have changed, they are no longer a dangerous team that will beat their opponent 4-5 goals. A year ago I wouldn’t have imagined Manchester City struggling with Southampton. City got all three points but the performance was disappointing. At the beginning of the game, it seemed like they were going to embarrass Southampton with a bigger score margin. Luckily to Southampton, Haaland missed a lot of chances today, the fans will be relieved that they got a win.

I believe Manchester City will beat the promoted club Southampton easily and score many goals in this match I hope Man City can score at least 3 goals because the opponent's back line is very weak and usually what I know Manchester City is a team that does not give mercy to anyone they face so I think betting on Man City -2.75 is not that risky because I am very sure Man City can score many goals and it would be better if they create a clean sheet.

Manchester City managed to win today match with difficulty, although they were previously predicted to win with a big score but in fact now they have actually disappointed you by only managing to score 1 goal against Southampton, playing at the Etihad Stadium, precisly, Southampton  is very impressive playing with their solid defense and even throughout the match Southampton who are a promoted team are able to keep up with possession of the ball in match, Haaland goal in the 5th minute became the only goal created in the match and that the goal was enough to make Manchester City temporarily at the top of the Premier League standings with 23 points at the moment, to be honest, I personally didn't expect that Southampton could play crazy like that, especially their defense line and Ramsdale performance today was really extraordinary with several crucial saves that he made in the match.

I feel that the reign of Manchester City is gradually coming to an end, maybe in this season or in the next, Arsenal has been runners up consecutively but we might see another team that would be runners up or even win the EPL trophy this season, that's if Manchester City doesn't win the trophy again. Liverpool has been in a very good form since Arne Slot took over, I think Kloop left the team in a very good shape and it's been  of good help to Slot cause Liverpool didn't participate much in the transfer window but then they're currently proving to be far better than some top clubs who spent alot to get their team back into winning ways. This current injury crisis would give Liverpool an advantage to continue remaining at the top. Well it might not last forever cause the January window is fast approaching and City and Arsenal would replace their injured players if they don't return before then. However Liverpool might have risen to challenge City and Arsenal but I don't see Aston Villa and Chelsea doing that.

Nothing lasts forever. yes, it is very much possible that the Reign of Manchester City is going to come to an end. We might see the rise of another team. It is kind of inevitable if you ask me because the players that Manchester City depends on so much are going to get older and retire. Or maybe even go to another club. Arsenal has consistently been the runners-up. Liverpool is currently performing well. Maybe we will see a good competition between Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal in the upcoming two or three seasons.  maybe even in this season as well. After that, I think the incredible performance from Manchester City is going to drop a little. Who knows! Maybe in this season, we will see another champion instead of Manchester City!

Villa is getting better thanks to Umai Emery, he has always been a great coach wherever he goes, and I am hoping that we could see this growing to be a better place as well, I can't say it will be easy to do but I am sure we are going to end up with a much better thing on the long run as well. I believe we are going to see something greater as well, and shouldn't really be bothered.

I believe Unai Emery could actually make this team a title winner, because Pep is leaving and City could gradually get worse, so all Villa has to do is keep getting better, if they can keep growing and getting better then I am sure eventually they are going to get better and have some good results, hopefully it wouldn't be too bad and could do fine.

The EPL is a tough one for these clubs to handled, don't you think?Manchester City are ontop of the EPL table and there's all proof to see them winning the league title again this season. Manchester City have dominated the entire league with their elite performances and stats, although they will surely encounter top competitive oppositions this season and when I mean top competitive oppositions, they're Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa. The top four race is already been geared on and watch the best from these clubs. Manchester City was able to grab three points from Southampton at Etihad stadium today, it was really a good hit for the Citizens today. Pep Guardiola must try improve the performance of his side of he really wants to retain the league title at the end of the season.

I'm also quite sorry that I canceled my intention to bet on Nottingham, because previously I also predicted that Nottingham might win. Because anyway, so far this season that Nottingham has been one of the best away teams in the Premier League because it still has an unbeaten result on the road. But yes, because I thought that Nottingham might fall too or not be able to be consistent, then I did not bet on Nottingham and the result that happened in this match was enough to make me regret it too. But it's true that Nottingham had very good goal attempts and shots on target despite playing away.

Having such good goal attempts and shots on target will certainly give the team more chances to win, rather than just having ball possession. After all, prioritizing ball possession also usually only good to teams that basically have great dominance in the league. Actually Manchester City dropped a little of form since the beginning of the season, but has maintained a fair performance, however have always find their way on the Leaderboard, that's one very unique thing I love about City, for couple of seasons now ,they don't slip way down much below the top four in the table regardless of their form at any given time. I think Chris Wood will be a player who will be targeted by a big club because of his sharpness in front of goal. I admit, since he created a fast score on minute 10' when Nottingham meet Wolves at the beginning of the session, He was shown if he is one the premier player which can be rise together with his club. Nottingham Forest is a club which can not be attention to grow up on top stand. Now, that club has proven if they are worth considering to be on top club on premier league.
