This shows that they have experienced a decline in performance this season compared to last season. But on the other hand Liverpool's improved performance is also the reason why City potentially cannot defend their title this season. Liverpool is really consistent and has only got 1 defeat. I don't know if City has experienced a significant decline in performance or not. But as far as I remember in the last decade their worst result was getting 6 defeats at the end of the season. And if this season they get more than 6 defeats then we can conclude that City is currently having problems in their performance.

Could it be because Pep Guardiola has been at City too long? 
He was not like that at his previous two clubs, Barcelona and Bayern Munich which he left in good condition if I remember correctly, and he only lasted less than five seasons.
This defeat is not something that City usually gets, especially at the Etihad Stadium, maybe this is a sign for him to leave England to take a break before deciding on a new club to coach.

I think Pep will fixed things and bring Man-city back to its glory days. Coaching a club like Man city isn't an easy job and we have seen how Manchester city have proven themselves several times that they are the best.

We should also understand that in the world of football nothing is impossible and everyday is not a winning day. In the case of Man city loosing to tottenham has proven that the players are not in good terms with the coach and if pep didn't address it on time,it might lead to more losses and fans might start calling for his removal/sack.

Man City seems to be in big trouble if it continues like this, there are several things that need to be considered from Man City who have experienced a sharp decline lately, in terms of playing, defending and also attacking they are different, sometimes miscommunication and losing the ball often occur in several matches, maybe injuries are still one of the reasons but not all the reasons, the defeat from The Spurs indicates that they are not doing well.

And we also need to understand that every position of glory there must be a decline, I really believe this, every team has a cycle like this and now it is happening to Manchester City who are experiencing a decline.

This particular situation Manchester city are facing now is something we haven't witness for a very long period of time, I mean this would be the 5th or 6th on a row without a win if am not mistaken although it's includes all competition as they have really showed that the likes of rodri and Kevin missing in that midfield is something that is really hurting the team.

When the Manchester City and Tottenham game started yesterday, Manchester City were dominating Tottenham with full force, and they had some pretty good chances in the first half, but they missed all the chances, but immediately James Maddisson gave Tottenham an early lead in the first half, the match changed, and Tottenham started dominating Manchester City and got a second goal in the first half, which motivated them to play Manchester City with no fear, and they ended up beating Manchester City at home. Yes, the defeat Manchester City conceded against Tottenham yesterday at the Etihad Stadium was their 5th defeat in a row in all competitions, which is also their worst defeat so far since Pep Guardiola became Manchester City head coach.

Defeat seems to have become a hobby for Manchester City or they are bored with winning because they have not won even once in the last five games in all competitions. Tottenham managed to make things difficult for Manchester City by dominating the match, they had no burden whatsoever even though they were playing at the Etihad Stadium.

After James Maddison managed to score two goals in just 7 minutes in the first half, the result of the match was predictable because Manchester City had no creativity at all in their play. Manchester City chances of catching Liverpool who are currently at the top of the standings are getting smaller, Liverpool will try to increase their unbeaten record when facing Southampton and at the same time make the difference with Manchester City to 8 points.

This statement of yours is actually true and the current reality of Manchester City but I think why many of us are surprised is because of the presence of Pep Guardiola as the Manchester City manager and the fact that the squad is star-studded. I don't know what is going on in Manchester City. 5 loses in a row and this time 0-4 against Tottenham. Josko Gvardiol had a horrible game and can be blamed for at least two of Tottenham's goals. Manchester City is performing terrible at defense. Pep signed a new contract, but what the hell is he doing to get the team out of this crisis? Maybe Liverpool is about to win this season of the English Premier League and it's not because Liverpool is that good. It's because Manchester City and Arsenal are so inconsistent. Maybe Pep Guardiola is exhausted as a manager and his methods don't work anymore.

This is a very incredible game because no one believes Guadiola will lose that game so easily. The main shameful thing is that they won them at home in the Etihad clean sheet without even adding one goal in the net. Manchester City's performance was very poor in the game, and that is why Tottenham have the opportunity of scoring four goals and achieving three points in the league competition. I don't know why Guadiola didn't start with de Bruyne in the game because is a very key players and he usually perform good and giving nice passed in the pitch and making Haaland score chips goals in a matches.

Haaland isn't even doing well in the game, as he only has one chance to score and squanders it. Now that Rodri is injured, Manchester City can do without him, but they need to improve their statistics, and Guadiola needs to do something if he wants to win the title this season. Pep does not have many options for the best players in his squad. Maybe Pep will fix it soon, besides that I read Pep will extend his contract. This means that the management is not panicking with the bad results of the last 5 matches. Remember there are still many matches this season, there are many chances that Man City can still get. Man City must take advantage of this transfer market so that they are able to have the ideal player. Because this season there are many changes that make the club will have more matches, especially in the UCL.

It's too early to recall Pep's possibility to be sacked by Manchester City. he has helped club to won 6 EPL trophies and 1 UCL in 8 years. Having a bad season doesn't really matter to the club considering he can rebuild it back again.

The only problem is they got stuck once the ball reached their midfield. Their passing network shows their midfield rarely gave a breaking pass to Haaland. This problem is in their mid, and they can boucne back later after they have a solution for it.

In this season, there is only 1 problem that we can see, namely the case of Rodri absence and logically it is a bit unreasonable to only lose 1 important player but the results are bad. While last season lost KDB who was seriously injured, the results still looked good. So there is something bad that is not known behind all this and we will surely slowly find out why the current bad results are actually Guardiola being maintained. And in my opinion City management not only believes in Guardiola but the coach is one of the coaches who understands what the best conditions are for the team. So Guardiola will still be maintained because Guardiola is always successful in bringing in new players.

Was really hoping the new manager would get a win today , but both team's settle for a point which isn't bad and just hope he imposes his authority into the team and brings those result's.

Ipswich played brilliantly well, concluding with a draw was a nice choice, though they could have done better but onana proved once again the reason for his signing into Manchester United. Well I never expected Manchester United to draw the match. My prediction has alway been a straight win but Ipswich indeed took a home advantage and used it a united.one of the reasons I love premier league is the fact that the games can change their shapes and turn out to be an entirely different outcome other than what you could imagine. Manchester City lost with four goals to Tottenham. I’m still a bit surprised but however this is premier league. I have always anticipated Southampton to be a really stubborn team especially when playing with big team, they did give Liverpool some trouble in wining the game but Liverpool came out victorious as usual.

I think even though this draw is still good enough for Amorim's debut match but with what van Nistelrooy showed for their debut match maybe this will be a burden for Amorim because it will definitely be a situation where he will be compared to the performance of van Nistelrooy in some time ago which did impress the fans of Manchester United.

They did perform quite well in this match but when compared to Ipswich who despite playing at home but with a squad that seems ordinary, they actually look equal even Ipswich performed better than on target that exceeded Manchester United in today's match.
But this will certainly be a little better for Manchester Untied than they have to lose points in this match although I think there will be a lot of criticism that will occur with this result especially for Amorim even though this is his debut match.

If you have been following Tottenham and Manchester city matches for some time now, you will know that it has always been a difficult match for Manchester city to win. We just have to acknowledge that Manchester city is not in a good form this season. They are in a state where they are feeling that they have done it all ans and there is nothing more to play for. Manchester city were playing like a team that has lost it all against Tottenham. Although most of the players were just returning from injuries and they have not been match fit after being out for so long. Manchester city should just turn their full energy to the champions League and make sure they finish among the top 4. They should forget about the premier League this season. With the way they are playing, they will still lose more matches. Tottenham Hotspur has always been a team that has been exploiting Manchester city. And they are always lucky to play Manchester city when they are not always in good form. For Tottenham to score Manchester city that number of goals at away show that Manchester city are far from being their best.

Pep really messed up how to fix it and try to replace already time with B squad. Seems like a blunder, James Maddison is look happy to destroy the city defense, The city defender like a kid who just learned how to dampen attackers who enter the penalty are.

Damn, this has never happened before, 5 consecutive lost is the first experience Pep in his coaching the club. This might drive him crazy.

Lol, playing against a promoted team and a team in the relegation zone like Ipswich, should have been a great moment for Amorim to get his first win for Manchester United. But anyway, the reality for me is that Manchester United played badly in this match even though they got a draw, but I think it was still a bad result. At least, this is the reason Manchester United shouldkeep Ruud Van Nistelrooy, because I believe Ruud Van Nistelrooy is the right choice to be the headcoach of Manchester United. Because clearly, Ruud Van Nistelrooy as a team legend, of course Ruud Van Nistelrooy has a great love for Manchester United and that can be the basis for an extraordinary effort  to  make improvements to Manchester United.

I personally bet on Manchester United to win in this match, because I want to see Amorim succeed in his first match only playing the bottom team in the standings. But, after I watched the match it turned out that Ipswich was not easy and there was no chance for Manchester United to win, so I decided  to cashed out my bet, and that was the right decision  because Manchester United also failed to win.

Manchester United played a draw in their match today. I was expecting a win from Manchester United, but all they could get is a draw, even when playing against a weak team. Seriously, this is not really a good start for Amorim. Manchester United is just supposed to let some players leave. Manchester United’s problem is not only the coach, some of the players are also supposed to be blamed.

I never expected such performance from Southampton in the match, I was thinking the match would be an easy win for Liverpool, but it wasn’t so easy for them, even as Liverpool was able to get a win in the match. At least Southampton dragged them in the match. Liverpool was able to secure three points in the match, and their point difference with Manchester City has increased. Liverpool is now ahead of Manchester City with 8 points, which will be kind of difficult for Manchester City to cover up because their performance is just poor currently, and I don’t know how Pep Guardiola will improve it.
