Nottingham forest has performed so well in this season but right at the end of the season when they need points they start losing games. The club has lost 3 of there last 5 games and that's why they are now at 6th position on points table. Despite loss against Bournemouth, Arsenal still is very much safe to qualify for next round and that means there are 3 slots left for rest of the clubs to qualify for UCL. For Nottingham Forest to qualify for UCL, they must win all of there remaining games.

Towards the end of the season, the competition at the top of the standings is getting tighter, so the scenario is getting more complicated. And it is undeniable that this season Nottingham Forest performed quite well, starting from finishing in 17th position in the previous season, unexpectedly for this season they were able to compete at the top of the standings, although in the end towards the end of the season their consistency had to waver which made their position in the standings continue to decline.

Seriuosly? Really? I mean how and why Arsenal can play this bad and wasting his best players.... why dont give rest in the Premier League since is nothing to fight for, why risk players when you are gonna need them for the Champions League semifinals?

I think maybe Arsenal still want to show their dominance in the EPL, as one of the best teams in England, so they chose to field their best players in the match against Bournemouth last night. but it is very unfortunate that the decision did not produce good results which in the end they had to suffer defeat from Bournemouth.

It is now Obvious that Amorim don't have business with premier league this season,  I can not believe they are losing again this first half and it is very clear that Manchester united doesn't know how to defend goal though the starting lineups are not his first eleven and I believe if he sub they might come back and win from behind but that was Manchester united of years back. Newcastle is really joking with there chance of qualifying for champions league next season because if they should lose this match and Chelsea won, they are doomed but the chance of Chelsea winning Liverpool is very low but considering the fact that Liverpool has won the trophy already and they are not competing with anyone they can play anyhow they like and Chelsea is coming for winning, I have this feeling that Chelsea might win.

On the other hand, Man United as usual is not interested in performing optimally in the League, they seem to have given up and want to stay focused on playing in the Europa League. Brentford is now leading 2-1 and in the second half will they add one more goal or Man United try a little seriously.

Many were of the opinion that the reason why Arsenal lost their game in the premier league yesterday was because they were focusing on winning their game in the champions league, but then, it's very unfortunate to learn that they also lost their game in the champions league as well, it's nothing to be surprised really just as you have said, for over the seasons, Arsenal have been known to start dropping or losing points as soon as a season is coming to an end, very disappointing though but this seems to be becoming a normal thing to them.

I doubt Manchester united will be able to beat Brentford who as we know are currently leading with 2 goals to 1, I am not currently watching the match to tell how Manchester united is playing but my honest prediction is that they will likely lose.

The season is almost coming to an end and Amorim coaching performance this season is very unsettling and unsatisfactory due to the infact that,he is unable to secure a better position for Man U in the table. However he can still do better if he starts buying the right sets of players Into Man United ahead of the next season.

Literally speaking,my expectations in Man United in this match was low but I wasn't expecting them to be loosing up to 4:1 in the game  and as I wasn't expecting them to win either. I was aiming for a draw but it looks like things went the different way. The truth is that Man United needs to put her house in Order because it will be very disappointing if by the beginning of the next season Man United hasn't improved in their playing patterns.

Literally, the defeat had a big impact on their morale, but on the other hand, they were very motivated to win the second leg of the UCL. Arsenal need just a few more points to secure a place in next season's Champions League, but if they win the trophy they will qualify automatically even if they finish outside the top five.

Currently maybe my dear Chelsea are handing over the control of the game to Liverpool in ball possession and passes. But still they are keeping their lead by 1-0.    But honestly it's still nervous...

Goal difference is the 1st thing to look at in case of equal points in the PL. Am I right? If it's so then winning this game will secure 5th place for them most probably. I guess Forest wouldn't get a historical win against Crystal Palace.

Arsenal had long since fallen behind Liverpool in the English Premier League, so they had given up their dream of winning the Premier League title, but they expected to do well in the Champions League, so they planned well for the Champions League, but that plan did not work for them because they lost 1-0 to PSG. The first leg match was held in Arsenal's home round and their defeat there was undoubtedly a big loss to PSG.

After a few days, the second leg match will be held, where Arsenal has no option but to win by a big margin. If Arsenal cannot win by a big margin, then they will lose against PSG and exit the Champions League. Arsenal has been performing well since the beginning of the season in the Champions League and they have also defeated Real Madrid in multiple matches, but now I don't know why they are unable to pass PSG's test. Exactly, with just 3 points ahead of Manchester City and they also have two tough opponents to play against in the league after their Champions League game against PSG this midweek. Arsenal's loss to Bournemouth in their today's encounter is very shameful to say the least or use the least word rather, I didn't expect this game to end like it did to be honest.

Many people are saying they (Arsenal) didn't put enough effort in their today's game so they could possibly win because they are more interested and focused on winning the champions league, and my question is, what then happens to their second position in the premier league, what happens to them defending that position, they are only 3 points ahead of Manchester city and if Manchester city will win their next game, they both will be sitting at equal points, and Manchester city may end up taking the second position while they (Arsenal) slide below..

Arsenal really should wake up from this slumber, in the last 5 games, only 1 game won, this is very poor for a club of their status.

Arsenal has shown and proven to everybody they’re not a serious club or a club u can place sure bets on, they’re not reliable at all, it wasn’t that they rested a lot of key players, they all played even when they know the league is lost or was that a training for a strategy they’re trying to perfect, just terrible display, I feel for their fans their only hope now is the UCL which there’s little or no chance for them. Best in raising the hopes of supporters and dragging them to the mud.

Todays games almost played as I anticipated except the Man United game, I thought United will win or draw but it seems they’re still having strong problems in the EPL winning Athletic didn’t change that. But they have a good news is Amad Diallo is back and back with the goals.

Yes, anything can actually happen in football, although we can only speculate. Liverpool lost today and I knew that because since they are already champions they have nothing to prove again. But on the other hand, since they have already lost this week to Chelsea, I don't think they would also want to lose again to another big team next week, that's where the problem comes in now. Even with being the champions, losing series of games wouldn't sit well with the fans especially when they are aware that they are not longer in any other competition.

Don't worry, now take a look at how Man United and Tottenham did. Looking at the performance of Spurs and Man United, it gives Aston Villa a great chance to get a top 6 position. While Aston Villa currently has a more stable performance quality.
But back to the concept of the final match of the season which is difficult to predict and most importantly Aston Villa still has that opportunity.

I listened to a podcast a few days ago, and one of the pundits (a Chelsea fan btw) claims that Jackson isn't that good. I guess he has a point, considering how many big chances he missed this season[1]. His goal conversion ratio is quite bad relative to other goal scorers in the league. Not to mention, some of the misses are hilariously terrible. I'm not sure he will score against Liverpool, but he will give them trouble with his pace.

Nicolas Jackson has been struggling recently with his form which in my opinion I don’t blame him entirely because the team is also having an impact on his performance lately but overall I think he improved in his finishing before now. Hopefully next season things will get better with Chelsea.

Since Arsenal has qualified for champions league next season there is no need to be struggling to win match in the premier league again because they still have strong match to play which is PSG. We all know how strong PSG is this season and there first leg they won Arsenal in Arsenal's home that was a great advantage for PSG what they just need now is win or draw either of these will favor them and considering the fact that Arsenal is coming there home to play, that is another big advantage for PSG and with what I'm seeing I don't think Arsenal can make it to the finals but if peradventure they entered penalty kick, Arsenal will defeat PSG but the possibility of this happening is very small.

After a 4-3 defeat to Brentford, Man United are now on 6 6-game no-win streak. I don't think the current expectation for the club is anything more than to avoid relegation, but this might pose a question about whether Amorim was the right replacement for Ten-Hag.
At least they still have a real chance to win the Europa League cup, which would grant them the right to play in the Champions League next season and would be a success United's fans are starving for.

Newcastle leaves Brighton with only one point, which means Man City stays in third place for now, with a one-point gap between them.

Liverpool seemed to have taken a relaxed approach when playing Chelsea and didn't try to do much to prevent the hosts from earning 3 points. I can't say I'm very surprised.
Now Newcastle and Chelsea each have the same number of points (63) and identical goal difference.

Manchester City ever since their return from international break seems like they’ve found their lost mojo, they’ve been on a fine form since then, Wining four now and drawing one. I had no doubts they were gonna win tonight, I  think Pep and most of his players wouldn’t want to miss out on Champions league action next year. Liverpool reaped from the misfortune of City, Arsenal has chosen to just be second best every year, the only way they can redeem themselves is if they Win UCL which is now a huge mountain to climb.

Manchester City can breathe fresh air a bit, they have struggled too much this season but they managed to qualify for Champions League next season. The return of their injured players has eventually made them better and stronger. It is good to see them finally winning games again.
