It looks like Chelsea are going to lose this match. In the middle of the first half, they received a red card, and that’s with Newcastle already leading 1-0. In this situation, I don’t think Chelsea will be able to come back, and most likely they’ll concede again in this game.
Another challenge for them is that soon Nottingham will face Leicester, and even though Nottingham are going through a tough period right now, I believe they simply have to beat a team like Leicester. The motivation will be very high, because it’s a chance for them to get back into the top five and temporarily secure a Champions League spot. As for Chelsea, things are looking really bad for them at the moment.

The most surprising match today is Nottingham forest vs Leicester city, I never expected Nottingham forest to draw todays match, they played against a team that has been relegated already, and Nottingham forest are currently fighting for the top 5 position, I was thinking the match will even be a easy win for Nottingham forest, but unfortunately they couldn’t win the match. Nottingham forest playing draw against Leicester is really an advantage for Chelsea, at least they will be maintaining their 5th position.

Liverpool 2 Vs Arsenal 0
Before the game, some number of persons still felt that Liverpool was going to lose to Arsenal and it was surprising. Just because Liverpool has won the league and Chelsea won them in their previous game doesn't mean Liverpool was just not going to take this game seriously. Although, the game is still a long way to go but the host is leading and they are also comfortable with the ball.

Chelsea lost hope very early today because it shouldn't have been Jackson who got the red card, however it was very wrong and callous from Jackson, and with this red plus how Manchester United and Chelsea matches are is a huge concern again for Chelsea because without Jackson is like no striker for them. Meanwhile Arsenal is learning another trick from Liverpool because is already 2 on their head and there both side defenders are not elastic, Liverpool come from a very far distance with obvious pattern of how it will be but Arsenal continued to be behind till it enters the net by Diaz and at some point I blame William Saliba.

I'm so frustrated with Jackson. Was it really necessary to do that?    How do you throw your CL chance at risk easily? I already didn't like him as a striker and now he has 0 credit in me honestly.

Congrats to Newcastle! That was a deserving performance. They showed their passion from the first moments of the game already. Eddie Howe is doing a mega job.

Before the game, some number of persons still felt that Liverpool was going to lose to Arsenal and it was surprising. The second half play is underway and Liverpool is leading by 2-1. The game might not be important for Liverpool because they have already won the season and also they have qualified for next UCL. For Arsenal the game is important because points gap between Arsenal and teams competing for next UCL is getting narrow. In last 5 games Arsenal got victory in only one game and that's mainly because they were focusing more on UCL than EPL but since they are now out from UCL they must focus on their remaining games to finish second and also qualify for next UCL.

Today was a day of highlights and surprise in the premier league, Nottingham Forest lost their lead that would have put them ahead of both Chelsea and Aston Villa. Chelsea who I thought was getting back in form lost to Newcastle by 2 goals to nothing, maybe they could have had a comeback but the red card really affected them.
Both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur who are in the Europa league finals lost today with a 2:0 score line, woeful Premier league form for both teams. They’re just sitting pretty at the bottom lucky they’re above the relegation zone, this is their worst positions so far in a long while.

Arsenal under 1 minute conceded two goals that’s shocking for a team looking to retain their position in second place and Liverpool has already won the league but I think they have a personal matter to settle with Arsenal (a London thing).
Will Arsenal be able to make a comeback? They’ve got one goal back or will Liverpool add more ?.

Nice games in the premier League as there where a lot of goals that where scored Newcastle got a vital win over Chelsea to climb to the third position on the table but it was not a good result for forest champions League hopes as they where held to a draw at home by relegated Leicester City while both Manchester United and Tottenham lost their respective games at home by 0:2

Forest has lessened it's chances of making it to UCL by giving away key points in it's last 5 games. Still points gap is close between teams that are looking to qualify for UCL and if Forest wants to play next UCL then they must not lose any of it's next three games. Lecister City is at 19th position on points table and Forest should not have any issue in winning tomorrow game against them. We have seen teams sitting at bottom of points table beating top teams, Forest must keep this point in their mind too.

The biggest problem in Chelsea's midfield, is there's hardly any goals from them. They need more goal threat from Enzo, Palmer and our wingers especially since Jackson is so inconsistent. It's ridiculous the amount of times they crossed the ball when they have no one who is an aerial threat. They score our goals when shoot around the box, instead of trying to score inside the 6 yard box.

Goals win games ,not possession. They only focus on possession as if it's the pinnacle of achievement in football, but struggle hard to get any kind of shot on goal.
I believe in a big come back for both City and Chelsea, but a pattern that can keep them more consistent in the game is all they need to keep fit on form.

Leicester City is in relegation zone and they played a draw against number 6th team of EPL today. I wrote yesterday that Forest should not have any problem in winning game against Leicester City but they played a draw and gave away 2 key points. It's now very difficult for Forest to qualify for next UCL because of there bad performance towards end of the season. Chelsea is working hard to finish in top 5, in their last 5 games they have won 3 along with one draw. Chelsea deserve spot in top 5 because of the hard work they have done including win against Liverpool.

Newcastle won their match against Chelsea and now they are at the third position, city has fallen back to the fourth position.. The EPL is highly competitive this season, if a team relents they will get overtaken... After the red card Chelsea got I knew that they were done for. Let's hope Newcastle keeps up their performance.

Everyone expected Manchester city to win against Southampton, we can’t really compare the two teams performance, Manchester city plays better than Southampton, as we can see Southampton are going to be relegated this season, so I wasn’t even expect a draw in the match. Manchester city needed the match, but they couldn’t secure 3 points in the match.

Newcastle won against Chelsea today, and they have already taken over the 3rd position from Manchester city, we are having just two matches left to be played this season, Manchester city should try and get a win in the two matches left, if they can’t then they might end up not qualifying for the champions league next season.

After being down 2-0, Arsenal managed to salvage one point in Liverpool to keep a 2-point distance over the 3rd Newcastle, who earned a very important win over Chelsea.
Things will get super interesting in the last two rounds of the season, as nothing is decided yet in places 2 to 7.

Next week Arsenal will host Newcastle, and if Arsenal fails to win or draw, Newcastle will take away their 2nd place for them (at least until the final round). Arsenal is estimated to be a 51% favourite (25% for a draw and 24% for Newcastle), but I wouldn't be so optimistic for Arsenal, given they have only won once in their last 5 league games.

Man City's yesterday's draw against Southampton is even more painful today. They could've been in a perfect position to attack the 2nd place themselves next week, but the chance is wasted. I don't blame them though (despite that result ruining my coupon). They played well, but it was just one of those days when you do everything right but things play out not the way you want. It just happens sometimes.

This is their own loss because their team should not have got such a chance but their players did not play well and did not win the match due to which they could not get this position and will miss out on getting this position. If a weak team is given a chance at this position then it has to play hard. Manchester City did not focus on any kind of hard work. They could have easily won this match because their opponent is very weak and Manchester City is so strong that being strong enough was beneficial for them. Newcastle took a very good step and through this they have got this position. Now Manchester City will have to work hard to win many matches but they will not succeed in it.

Having aimed for a spot in the champions league next season and it happens that Nottingham Forest are able to make it to the European league I think they'll still be glad and satisfied with their performance this season. All they want is just a spot in any of the two European leagues competitions, and by virtue of their level I think the Europa could still fit them good.

Nottingham Forest battled a 1:1 draw Against their last opponent Crystal Palace In the EPL in Selhurst Park Stadium.
The last few matches have been painful to watch. While they were taking it one game at a time, they weren't putting theirselves under pressure. For me the match against Everton was where they started to manufacture a run in to hold on to a Champions League spot and it all fell apart,due to the fact that they were over relaxed.

Palace are a good side so they were lucky to salvage a draw there. If they draw or probably loose their next match against Leicester today, then the pressure at home will be immense.
Forest really need to put on more hard work and win their remaining game.
We want to see them in the UEFA Champions League!.

Obviously it is not going to be easy for them to accept that they are not going to be finishing within top 5, not even top 6. Because they are looking at a top finish for most of the time and because of that we are talking about a team that dropped off, so when you look at it that way it looked like that was worse and that was a good period for them and they did badly after that.

However, if they look at it from the other way around, most people would have said they would either gone down or they would barely survive that level. But they are doing much better than what people would assume at the start of the season, so while they do look worse than what they could have done, they look much better than what people expected so they should look at it from glass half full type of situation.

The performance of Manchester City in this league has been very good and this time too, I personally believe that Manchester City will go against them because they are the destination team and they have so much potential to maintain their position and status in the rankings and in any case, they can maintain it. On the other hand, if we look at the Newcastle match that is taking place between the Chelsea it is my personal opinion that Newcastle will win this match because their record and hold have been very good and they know how to maintain their status in the rankings and maintain themselves in a good position. So my support is also with the Manchester City team and I wish that they win this match and also win this match that they are going to have against Southampton.
