So I guess it's official. Liverpool has confirmed that they reached agreement with Leverkusen and Wirtz will be joining the club on a (potentially) record breaking transfer amounting to £116 milion, which comprise of a guaranteed £100m + £16m add ons (bonuses). If the criteria for those bonuses are met, this will be the most expensive Premier League transfer.

Wait, I'm confused here, Manchester United approved Napoli for Osimhen, is it not supposed to be Galatassry that they should approach? Or was Osimhen not sold? Or was he loaned to Galatassry by Napoli? If he was loaned then it's actually Napoli, Manchester United should approach. Well Manchester United is a great club and if Osimhen wants to play their then it's a welcome development so long as the club is willing to invest in quality players that can assist him to shine in the club if not, his really going to struggle if he happens to sign for them.

From my understanding Napoli is the parent club of Victor Osimhen, he was only at Galatasaray on loan last season and is expected to return to Napoli at the end of the season so all negotiations and approach for the player will be to Napoli not Galatasaray.

He will have the next three years to prove himself, there is nothing special yet but there is always a turning point for every manager, this could be the club where he achieve greatness, Tottenham won't keep him longer if he moves the team backward worse than the former coach.

If any coach will take Tottenham backward, then we should expect Tottenham to be relegated, because Tottenham ended last season in 17th position, the next position after 17th is 18th which is the relegation zone. I will say Tottenham were just lucky that they were not relegated.

Since Tottenham are having a new coach right now, then let’s see how their performance will be in the coming season, I don’t use a coach’s performance in his previous club to judge how he will perform in the new club, let the season start and let’s see how Tottenham performance will be. Thomas frank has been offered a three year contract, he will have to show that he is capable of managing the team, if Tottenham’s performance doesn’t improve, I don’t think Tottenham will wait for three years before he will be replaced.

He has no achievement? Quite alright but his Brentford side is one of the best sides in the Premier who have dealt with top sides like Manchester United,  Manchester City,  Arsenal and also Chelsea. Is that not achievement enough? Is that not enough to say he is a premier league proven manager? Brentford was another London side with less ambitions,  with Tottenham Hotspur I believe it will a much higher task. I'm certain he is a top appointment for them. Time will tell.

If seen from the trophy achievement side, yes, Thomas Frank has not had a trophy during his tenure as head coach. How could he not, he is the head coach of a small club that has just been promoted to the Premier League. And their struggle as a new club into the big EPL, they were able to reach 13th to 9th place. However, for a club as big as Tottenham, his performance that is doubted is certainly very reasonable.

But that does not mean that he lacks experience and ability, like Kompany who was able to bring and manage Bayern Munich to be very good even though he was doubted at the beginning. Hopefully he will make Spurs much better and increase their ranking in the Premier League. Thomas Frank is famous for his attacking tactics, with 4-3-3 as his preferred tactic. So, this is actually match enough for Tottenham.

I'm anticipating his performance and consistency because Darwin Nunez did relatively well for starters but fell off with time.
The pressure will be there for sure all eyes on him just like the past most expensive Epl players. Let's see if he can handle the pressure with time or else Liverpool may be hoping to offload him to Saudi club in order to cut lost in similar way they are hoping on Darwin Nunez.

Wow, so Caicedo as Enzo Fernandez was bought for £99 million and £103 million respectively. Excluding the largest Liverpool signing who's hasn't yet kicked an a ball officially for the Reds. It's only Gvardiol of Manchester City and Declan Rice of Arsenal that has really played to some good level of expectations in their new team. The rest hasn't really done anything considering their heavy price tag. Grealish for that price was another insane waste of money at that time for City because he hasn't played anything close to the money he was bought for.

They are really looking forward to strengthen the team even more and that's a very welcome development. After an incredible season they are still splashing lots of money to get quality players in other to compete again because they are fully aware that other teams in the league will also be preparing for next season, and that's how a true team does it. A team that still wants to win not a team like Arsenal lol. Who will sign two kindergarten players and feel that they've arrived meanwhile nothing.

Liverpool have completed a great season. The team was at the top of the table in the first round of the Champions League. They lost in the first match of the knockout round. Liverpool management knows very well that the next season is going to be more difficult for Liverpool. All the big teams in the Premier League are trying to strengthen their squad. Arsenal and City will bring a stronger squad to compete for the title next season. So Liverpool is also trying its best to strengthen the squad.

Liverpool is trying to add FLorian Wirtz to the squad to strengthen the midfield. If this young player can be added to the squad, Liverpool's midfield will be stronger. For this, Liverpool will have to spend 115 million+

Liverpool did an amazing job in the premier league. They won the league really early and there was no presure for them the entire season. With Wirtz they get a player that is amazing in midfield and will help them a lot. I just wonder if he will get used to playing in england due to a different playing style

Liverpool is a very popular team in the English Premier League and this club is a well-known club, so the performance they performed in the English Premier League last season is okay in the English Premier League, but their performance in the Champions League needed to be improved. When Liverpool qualified for the European League in the previous season due to their poor performance, we still considered Liverpool as the favorite team in the European League, but Liverpool could not play in the semi-finals that season. This season, the way Liverpool has been performing in the Premier League since the beginning, we at least assumed that this team would play in the semi-finals of the Champions League, but the way they disappointed in the European League last season, they have disappointed the fans in this season of the Champions League. Therefore, Liverpool should bring good quality players to the club and make proper plans with the players who are currently in the club.

I think Wirtz's not really woth 150 million. 100 million (85 million + 15/16 million add ons) or less was still fine, but 150 is obviously overpaying. Playing in EPL ain't easy as Bundesliga. I've seen enough players who went from good at Bundesliga, then flop at PL.
However, i have no business with their money at all. So let's see how good or bad him in PL.

The reason why Postecoglou was sacked is because of where he landed the team in the Premier League despite giving them a Champions League spot, if Thomas Frank doesn't improve, he will be dropped from his managerial duties without delay.

Thomas Frank has the potential to both increase and decrease his value. If he can lead Tottenham to a better position next season, he can consider himself blessed and be able to increase his value. However, if he leads the team to a lower level than his former Tottenham coach, it may not be good news for his coaching career. This is a great opportunity for him to prove himself. We will see how he does with this opportunity next season.

During the time Thomas Frank coached Brentford, he was on a limited budget to sign players, which could be part of the problem he faced, and why the team wasn't consistent on where they ended for each season, either within 10th for one season then the next season they return back to the bottom positions. He is now managing Tottenham at least they have the resources to comply with what the manager wants, good players already in the team, and everything falls on Thomas Frank, if he fails this time there is no excuse for it.

This is the first time I am hearing of this, I hope it is true because Osimhen has been linked with Manchester United even before the end of the season so it’s about time we see something concrete and realistic between parties. I think Victor Osimhen will be a great signing for United, it will be United’s best signing in four years if they can make it happen.

At Manchester United, even Ronaldo couldn't help the team break through, despite scoring 18 goals and 3 assists in 30 games in his first season. I'm afraid that Osimhen can't help there either, because the problem is deep-rooted and ManU needs a lot of reform and change to finally become a successful club again.

Man United's problems are indeed complicated so it is difficult to rise, how many times the coach has changed, how many times players have been brought in but Man United's performance seems to not improve. This is a tough task for Amorim, he is not only building a strong squad by bringing in top players, but currently Man United is very ambitious to get Osimhen.

Osimhen is a potential player, even though this season he played at Galatasaray, his performance in scoring goals is unquestionable, so it is only natural that Man United really wants his services. But back to the root of the problem, if the internal and dressing room of Man United are not conducive, any top player who comes to Man United will not change at all. So Amorim's current task must start by fixing the dressing room to internal problems so that the players can concentrate.

We are having record braking transfers almost every season, the money they are using to sign players now are becoming much, and all these are as a result of too much hype on some players, and even though these players deserve to join the teams they are signing for, the money is too much for some transfers and that’s why most teams are making it difficult for players to leave them especially if the player is important to the squad and has a great season in the previous season.

In this transfer summer, Liverpool planning to make the signing of Florian Wirtz, it will be a record breaking signing that we will probably not see any again this summer, but let’s wait and see because there are a lot to be revealed in the transfer market, maybe if Napoli will sell Osimhen to Saudi Arabian team Al Hilal we might see a bigger bid.

Because the problem in Manchester United is very  deep and serious and there is a need for multiple things to fix the issues. But all that is changing now, despite the difficulties the club is facing I still believe that Manchester United could improve if the right measures are taken. Manchester United have made the first step by sacking Ten Hag and bringing in Amorim, they just have to be patient and let Amorim get the club right back on track.

I can't imagine how big Wirtz burden when he comes to the PL. I remember that how City bought Marmoush, which was far cheaper than him but with better stats. However, public still rated Marmoush as a flop. I also remember how City bought Grealish for 100m, and still being called a flop even he's winning PL a few times and UCL.

It seems to me Wirtz will receive so many blame on the first day he played for Liverpool. We know how harsh PL competition, and i think he must give more than he did at Leverkusen.

Just compare his stats to the Marmoush in Bundesliga. We know how he's still under Marmoush, but expensive price.

Playing in the Premier League comes with its own unique challenges especially for foreign players. For Wirtz it will be a whole different experience and a tougher challenge at Liverpool I hope he is coming prepared and ready for the physicality and intensity of the EPL because many have come and flopped. It will be disastrous to sign for that huge amount and not make good impact in his first season.

Personally I can’t actually deny the fact that the club did pay way too much for the player and the scary thing about this is the fact that most players that have been bought with huge amount of money over the years to the English premier only a few of these deal had actually been a hit. In fact in the top ten I don’t think we can count upto six of them that did live upto expectations, a clear example is the Nunez you just mentioned.

But in terms of overall spending I wouldn’t say Liverpool do not know how to spend, if I look at players they have bought over the years the success they have achieved I think only Manchester City is on par with them for doing excellent business, they usually are smart about their business but their desperation definitely showed in this Florian Wirtz signing. I simply hope the deal turns out well

Honestly he can find a place for himself in my legends list quite easily. He is a very special player and I'm glad Liverpool has extended his contract by 1 more year.
