Regarding Arsenal's effective and not too expensive purchases, look at Victor Gyokeres, who only cost 60 million euros but contributed more than Liverpool players Alexander Isak, who cost 150 million euros, or Hugo Iketike. Sometimes, it's not about the overhyped release clause of a player, but their true abilities and for how long they can still give out the same quality of they're being contracted. I'm slowly starting to lose faith in Alexander Isak and the reality for now is that he was just not meant to show up that fast into a big team; or maybe the manager isn't able to place him in his most favourite position? I mean, we can all recall how lethal Isak was in Newcastle... A hundred and fifty million euros is wild for a flop!

It's because the transfer market, especially the domestic market in England, is totally out of control. You see very average players changing teams for ridiculous amount of money, and they are clearly not worth it, but of course the fans have high hopes just because the team spent big bucks for them, but it doesn't work like that.

The transfer market is really crazy these days, because with just a little media attention, an average player can suddenly have a very high selling price, especially if there are at least 2 big teams that are both interested in the same player, then it immediately becomes a good moment for the Club to boost the selling price of the player.

Players who are signed at a high price will certainly have a burden because they are expected to make a meaningful contribution and can even become a key player. But when things don't live up to expectations, the pressure can be quite intense, and if the player does not have a good mentality, they may not thrive at their new club.

So, Liverpool team hasn't got any better. I was shocked when I returned home to see on the TV that Manchester city totally humiliated Liverpool even without a red card. When I saw the score line, I thought that a Liverpool player was actually red carded but it wasn't so.

You need to watch the replay of the match so that you can see for yourself how Liverpool was beaten hands down with able to score a single goal. I think this is more than being humiliated because their was no reverse attack to score which was disappointing how the Liverpool team has fallen to this extend. I hope to see improvement in their next matches.

What are you guys expecting from Liverpool before when is already obvious that they are up against a big club like Manchester City and considering Manchester City current conditions, it becomes very aggressive for them to handle so you guys should at least give Liverpool some credits for standing up to Manchester City for a while before their where finally defeated in the game.

Is this some sort of defending for Liverpool, do you forget in a rush that they are defending champions of the Premier League Competition and also that they spent too much money to be this bad in the league. Both defenders, attackers and new players added to the club are underperforming. It is not about Manchester City being in a good form but Liverpool floppy and the manager not doing enough to help his side get back to a goof form. What is defending champions without showing workings, at least they have to show us that they are defending champions by winning teams that people expected them to win and draw some that seems tough for them instead of losing. The fact that Manchester city defeated them was not bad the bad and annoying thing here is that they conceded 3 goals from Manchester city without even scoring at least 1, that is very embarrassing from a defending champions and I wish they wake up from their slumber early.

That was a well deserved win for Manchester City like I was certain that they could won the game but not with such margin I was actually expecting that game to be a both teams to score but it seems Liverpool is not getting any better after their mysterious in the league and the UEFA Champions League against Real Madrid so I was like good at least they're back but was shocked on the result against Manchester City then I concluded that Arne Slot and his boys still got a long way to go after that much spendings in the transfer market it's quite a pity.

Sunderland players are something else,I still don't understand how a team that got promoted from the Championship is on the title race for the trophy. Sunderland is a strong contender for the premiership title, although catching up on Arsenal wil be difficult but it's quite possible especially the Form Sunderland is on currently. Arsenal just has to continue winning in other to keep other contenders afar.

Sunderland registered some outstanding stats,Their defence is solid: only a few teams have conceded fewer goals than them so far this season. They are now upsetting some bigger clubs, The mentality appears strong they are not simply fighting to survive, they’re competitive. Being well positioned early is promising, but the Premier League is a marathon.Staying consistent against the big clubs and sustaining over 38 games is difficult.Higher injuries, fixture congestion (cup games) and the demands of the league may test them.Big clubs often have more resources to deal with dips in form or injuries.
My verdict for them Sunderland A top-6 finish or pushing into the top 4 for part of the season. Possibly sneaking into Champions League places if they maintain form and get some favourable results.

Their transfer income was only 10 million.    It isn't the most efficient window for them in terms of finances for sure. But they are going big for the Premier League title and if they win who knows how much money they will make.

If you want to win the Premier league title you must spend money, and that's what Arsenal just did, over the years they have been stingy to spend on the team squad and they win nothing. If you desire change you must follow the steps others are following. Manchester city spent so much to be able to win and defend the title for several years, yet they keep spending money. Same to Liverpool, Arsenal is on the right path to success.

You can't win the league with an average players, you need a good players to support the team and they're not cheap to get. If Arsenal wins the title it's because they have good quality players now in the squad. At this point they really don't care about income from selling. They just want to win the title and not profits.

In my opinion Liverpool changed too many players this year, and the new ones are not performing as they were expected to. They spent a huge amount of money for Isak, Wirtz and Ekitiké (without mentioning the other players they bought) and the only one with decent performances has been Ekitiké. Isak pretty much barely played and Wirtz has been a disaster. But I wouldn't even blame the players, the problem is Liverpool because they paid a crazy amount of money for players that clearly were not worth that much. Isak almost 150 million euros?! They are out of their mind.

Liverpool is not really in good performance, though. A 4-point lead over Man City doesn't mean their position is secure, a change in position is likely if they lose points in the next few matches. They must learn from Liverpool's success last season, winning the EPL trophy requires consistent performance from the beginning to the end of the season.

Why can't they compete if they are truly good?
We saw how Leicester city came from the English championship lower division to the premier league and with their form that year 2015 if am not wrong, and won the English premier league title with a convincing and consistent performance all through the season, so am not surprised by the form of Sunderland and the position they are occupying right now, if they are truly good, nothing can stop them because football is a game whereby if you are actually good, it will be very obvious for everyone, and if you are not good, the results will speak for itself, so if Sunderland is good enough to compete for the title, all I can wish them is good luck, because they are really surprising us this season.

It is quite impressive that they troubled Arsenal to that point. If not that Arsenal are a strong side, they would have won the match. Am sure if it were to be Arsenal of previous seasons, Sunderland would have won the match.

I guess being inconsistent has become a part of them, i really hope they end up winning either the epl title or the champions league but inrhink they have more chances of winning their Premier league title, since they are already at the top of the baird they just have to win. The biggest example is Gyokeres, while Liverpool was spending 200+ million on just two strikers, they spent something like 60 or 70 million on Gyokeres, and getting a lot more out of him too. Arsenal knows how to spend money very well, while they are not spending very little, they are spending the whole money multiple players to grow. Think of it like a business, if you have just one product, then when that product ends, or doesn't sell, or doesn't perform well, you are bankrupt and will go down.

But if you invest into multiple products, that is why they can do a lot better and they end up with better results and doesn't look into it very badly. So focus on the best part and Arsenal is doing a lot better without a doubt.
