The Manchester City vs Chelsea game hasn't been bad until now. Foden missed a big chance to score. Haaland has been out of form lately because of not being able to contribute to score for 2 games.

Maybe he would break this series by a nice performance today. Chelsea are still coachless. McFarlane is the interim manager for now. I thought this would have a bad affect on the club today but let's see...

The first half looked like it would end 1-0. Chelsea couldn't withstand City's onslaught, and Tijani Reijnders managed to score. He found space to shoot and was successful. Will Chelsea change their strategy in the second half and try to balance the match? They can't afford to lose. If they lose, they'll lose their fifth-place finish and a Europa League spot will be very difficult to secure if they lose to Manchester City tonight.

Brentford will also be chasing them soon, with 30 points the same as Brentford, who won their recent match against Everton.

Well, yesterday I predicted that Chelsea had the ability tto make a point in the match and that’s exactly what happened. Manchester City were leading for almost the entire game, but Chelsea managed to equalize in injury time, just four minutes before the match ended. So BTTS turned out to be the best betting option, confirming my suggestion. Manchester City remains in second place in the table, but the gap with Arsenal has increased.

A wonderful display between both clubs today in Etihad. It was like a shock to City players and a disappointment to Pep when Chelsea got a late equalizer at the 90+3 minutes and walk home with a point. I have already given up on Chelsea before that goal came in.

I love the spirit in Chelsea today, they didn't give up till the game was over despite that they didn't perform well in the first half. City made a mistake to play a defensive game in the second half and gave Chelsea the chance to continue attacking.

Manchester City playing a defense game during second half was a mistake knowing fully well they don’t have any energy to play against Chelsea full time, just imagine they secured the point playing a defensive game actually the plan was scoring a goal then secure each spot. The bigger mistake was scoring just one goal when they had the opportunity to score beyond, it’s not so easy viewing Manchester City is not as good compared to previous time meanwhile Chelsea played a very poor game today yet viewing the match stats Chelsea managed to draw in terms of shots on target and other key stats.

Am so disappointed at my club , they have lost 4 points back to back. Game that they should have won they were not putting their best. Winning premier league title this year is over , now Arsenal are using 6 points to lead. And it doesn't look like they are going to lose any game soon. They are playing every game like a final. We have tried our best, maybe this season wasn't for us. Arsenal now have the opportunity to clinch the title now. They just need to keep winning their games, then they will finally hold what they have been chasing for year's.

Arsenal have proven they are ready to lift the title this season,  they have been very different in terms of consistency, defense and attacks and I believe their fans will be celebrating by now because I don’t think there's any hope for any team to catch up with them till this season ends except they chose to be inconsistent in their remaining matches but for now I don't see Arsenal losing their first place or even any game easily.

I lost my bet because Chelsea scored a late minute equalizer to finish the game 1-1. I was already celebrating my winnings but Enzo Fernandez had to ruin everything with that stupid goal. On the bright side, Arsenal keeps their lead on the top of the table with 6 points clear off Manchester City.

I told y’all this big teams don’t judge their matches by current form, they’re like Arch enemies no matter how poor either of them are when it comes to big boys match up, a lot of things comes to play; Pride, banter, competition etc. Most of y’all thought Manchester City will just run riot on Chelsea but that’s not how it is, it happens but it seldom happens. It’s always a tough match up.

Just getting to know Rubem Amorim has been sacked, it was a long time coming. His techniques and strategies didn’t help United much. Darren Fletcher to take the temporary reins

Agree the management is bad but Amorim is an amateur coach and I predicted that he will be sack because he loses matches that h would have just win without stress,  imagine drawing Wolves and Leeds United that's not acceptable results. I think the management got it right by sacking him, this is Manchester United, we're not Arsenal that endure nonsense, once you're not giving the fans  the desire results, the management kick you out.

Its time to use the club legend, we have tried outsiders, let the management hire someone that understands the history of this club in this position. Enough of bringing in strangers. I'm so excited Amorim is out , I lose every weekend because of his poor performance.

When Cristiano Ronaldo spoke to the press about Manchester United, he was right. Many good players and coaches leave that club, but as long as it remains under the same ownership, it will never return to being a great club capable of winning the Premier League. We've seen the Manchester City manager make controversial statements many times, but he's never been fired because the club owners respect him and his freedom. But if he were the Manchester United manager, he would have been fired immediately.

This season will be very long for Manchester United fans, what did this club want to achieve in the next three years? I don’t think Manchester United can win any trophy any time soon because the club did not know what they are doing, ever since Manchester United started seeing Ronaldo and other good players fault that they are too old and they are the reason why the club is not performing well I started feeling that the club will never succeed, Manchester United sell De Gea to sign Onana, sell Mc Tominay to sign Ugarte, and loan Hojlund that is having a good season in Napoli because they signed Sesko, Manchester United can not be a club we use to know again.

Why did the club sack Amorim? That is what I don’t understand, Manchester United performance was going normal before the Africa players goes to the international competitions and Manchester United three important players are in Afcon, so what did they expect from the team, i don’t even expect Manchester United to draw the game against Leeds United because they don’t have any player that can help them, Amorim made a statement after the match saying that the board needs to do their job and I think he is right because Manchester United board don’t know what they are doing, sacking Amorim is not a good decision at all.

 It's so funny how Manchester United sacked their head coach for saying the truth. He might have his own flaws but needed backings from the board especially in this transfer window cause I don't see how they expect him to succeed without about eight of his key players, that's enough to rant on that post match interview, the manager needed serious backings.

 Manchester United is a funny club and I don't think they'll go back to glory days soon if they don't start doing things right, I was thinking INEOS would make things better for them when they took over the sporting aspect of the club but they're a big job, sacking Amorim to appoint Fletcher as an Interim coach is a big joke.

Aston Villa 2 - 0 Nottingham Forest and the game is still in the beginning of the second half.
The match is pretty much one sided. Aston Villa is dominating the game while Nottingham Forest players aren't that concentrating. In the second goal there was at least like 3 mistakes done by the midfielders and defenders. How easy missing the ball by these players is impressive..
Even the attacks of Nottingham Forest are pretty much easy to waste or to stop. I believe Aston Villa could add another goal if they want.

what more did you expect from the game, despite the fact that Arsenal beat them 4-1 in their previous game doesn't mean they have dropped form it only shows how formidable Arsenal is this season, anyone expecting even a draw in this game is quite hilarious because Nottingham Forest of this season is not that of last season had it been It was last season I'd know it might end in draw based on how inform Aston Villa is, so this is a well deserved win for Aston Villa and I believe their hope of fighting for the league is not yet gone it's still very much intact.

Chelsea drawing with Man City is a clear game , in my first post before the game I emphasize that the game will end in draw, despite some arguing that home advantage of Manchester city and their position ahead of Chelsea stand better edge,for me is never a yardstick. Their performance of draw yesterday has still pave way for arsenal to jubilate because their major contender is dropping with point arsenal topping with over 6 point difference is bigger move, Chelsea has help arsenal im reducing tension.

Chelsea really did Arsenal a favor by drawing the match against Manchester City yesterday. The match was interesting and I was expecting Manchester city to win the match yesterday,  but Chelsea equalize very late in the match.  I think they both had opportunity to win the match yesterday, but they end up sharing the point. Chelsea seems to up their game when they play against the traditional big teams.
With this result Arsenal seems to be running away with the league title this season. Arsenal is the most consistent team and I think they will win the league this season.

Yes, Arsenal is currently the strongest in the Premier League and if they continue to play like this, they will remain very strong and are playing well enough for the champion. The match that Arsenal won against Aston Villa is another example for Aston Villa and in addition, if Aston Villa had won the match, both Arsenal and Aston Villa would have been equal in points and position. Aston Villa has played very well in this match but they should have played well against Arsenal too but they failed in that too. Aston Villa also try very well to score goals, their goals are more than 2 but against Arsenal they could only score 1 goal even though Arsenal was stronger than them. Aston Villa has brought itself closer to Arsenal by winning and for that they will have to win every match.

Was scrolling through X this morning and found a surprising yet expected news, REUBEN AMORIM HAS BEEN SACKED!!! from Manchester United (Fabrizo Romano), he is no longer the head coach of Man United coming from the 1-1 draw against Leeds, it has been speculated that Darren Fletcher, the U-18 coach has been appointed interim manager pending there search for a replacement.

What do you guys think of this and how will this affect the future performance of Man United?

I don't know but Darren Fletcher the new interim manager will swith to a back four in defence with the speed of light to accommodate the current players, go back and play just exactly like the same traditional base british football side, sit back to defend and hit your opponents with counter attacks. Maybe a double man midfield of Casemiro and Ugarte, and then, explosive wingers taking charge of the wings. Nothing more tactical will be added to his game. Same old script like it was with Ole Gunner Solskjear.

This is the right decision in my opinion, I have said many times that Amorim has not made progress with Man United so even if he is retained there will be no good possibility in the future but now Man United management will certainly find it difficult to find a new quality coach in the remainder of this season and the percentage is also small for them to be able to improve the team's performance and return to compete for at least a ticket to play in European competitions next season.

Well, I do not know or have much experience in this field but I do think that being successful as a coach isn't about where the coach comes from or what language the coach is speaking, it's more about professionalism..

An English, Dutch or Portuguese coach who is highly learned in the coaching profession and know his right from his left will make a good coach to the Manchester united team, coaching to the best of my knowledge isn't about language or country, it's about the person being hired, what does he know and what differentiates him from the previous unsuccessful ones? What is his level of experience and how quick can he make his team to adapt to new methods of play to guarantee success in every match? This are what the Manchester united management should be looking at and not language or country or whatever.

Ruben Amorim did not have good management and performances with Manchester United and he even made less impression than previous coaches like Jose Mourinho, Solskajer and Ten Hag. I have no surprise with this news but I only thought why Manchester United chose Ruben Amorim in the last season when he was very young and there is big difference between managing Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United from quality, expectation and pressure.

Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo were right about Manchester United conditions recent years even I don't agree with these people for all things they did. With many problems exist and no proper strategies for improving the club's quality and competitiveness, they will struggle to come back to top of the league in next seasons and I am very doubtful that this sack will help them anything considerably.

Both Arsenal and Manchester City, even Aston Villa can win Premier League title with 18 more matches, many things can be changed in ranks among three top clubs. Arsenal and Manchester City have more experience in title competition and they are better candidates for a title than Aston Villa.

I wasn’t surprised with the draw between Manchester City with Chelsea, Manchester City played well throughout the match but they failed to win. Honestly, with the performance they had shown in the game, they should have won the match at home. Some people would have thought that Manchester City had won the game in the 90 minutes of the game, but Enzo Fernandez denied them the 3 points to reduce the points difference between them with Arsenal.

However, I didn’t bet on any side to win the match since Chelsea always play at their best against big teams, both teams had three shots on target during the match. I expected Manchester City to struggle during the match, so, I bet on over 1.5 goals. Though a lot of people would bet on Manchester City to win since they were playing at home and Chelsea are not in their best form recently.

arsenal is closer than ever to winning the premier league title. yesterday's last-minute goal gave them exactly what they wanted, and they are now 6 points ahead of their two closest rivals. we are roughly halfway through the league, and while a lot can still change, arsenal are progressing very strongly, and closing the points gap will become increasingly difficult for the teams below them with each passing week. but as i said, nothing is impossible yet. manchester city were five points behind arsenal at the end of the 20th week of the 2022/2023 season. and then they went on to win the championship.

Man City may have thought they were going to win the match when the match ended and extra time was going on. Chelsea did not give up and they kept trying to score and they were successful in their efforts. At least for Arsenal a favourable position has been created. Even if Chelsea pull Man City back from behind they will have to win the next matches to fulfill their expectations as their points are relatively low. In 20 matches, they have won only 8 matches, drawn 7 matches and lost 5 and currently have 31 points. The statistics are trying to turn them in the opposite direction but they seem determined to get their form back.

Till 90 minutes, all was going into their favour no challenge from Chelsea, but last few minutes gave not only big shock with big lost as well, I have big bet on them while this was single bet over 2.5, both teams to score and Manchester City to win but all gone crap due to their overconfidence Citizens in this game.

Pepe Guardiola is surely now feeling not good because this second draw in row is having problem for his team and their opponent Arsenal is having good edge Aston Villa done good against Nottingham, with this win now they are also on level in points with Manchester City, they need to be keep things on good level because they have fair chance of having second spot in this season while Manchester City is not consistent.
