Carrick deserves the highest praise for his achievements so far. Not only that, management should appoint him as a permanent manager and give him a long-term contract. Carrick's accomplishments are truly remarkable. I think City are not strong enough right now to beat Liverpool away from home. City are inconsistent, with frequent draws and even some losses, while Liverpool have looked better in their recent matches, so a draw in this game would make sense to me. Those who watched the match against Newcastle in the previous match will understand how impressive Liverpool team played and won by a margin of 4-1. Manchester City team is not much stronger than Liverpool but has been unable to maintain some consistency recently. But which team will win it will be difficult to predict in advance but I think Liverpool will win.

For City winning the match is very important because Arsenal are increasing their points gap but City and Aston Villa have not been able to add points to due to their poor performance. There is also a possibility of a draw in today's match because the two teams are almost in the same position in terms of performance.

Being honest with you on the match of  Liverpool vs Manchester City that is scheduled in late hour of today in the Anfield stadium is going to be interesting match to watch and very tough one within the both teams, for Liverpool lost to Manchester City in the Anfield since in the year 2021 and till up to date Manchester City has not able to win Liverpool in the Anfield but the best result they do take from Liverpool home is draw or Liverpool to win, so if Liverpool will be able to maintain such records and putting in more effort on these match, i believe that Liverpool can make a step ahead in the premier League table with three points and if they fail to make use of every chances they get, that means they will draw or lose to Manchester City, but in all i wish Liverpool to win Manchester City today.

I really don’t understand the decline in Newcastle’s performance right now…they haven’t won any of their last five games and then yesterday they lost again against Brentford, they scored the opening goal but Brentford equalized in the first half and then got a penalty leading two goals to one into the halftime.

Even though they also got a penalty in the second half equalizing with Brentford they were not able to atleast draw that game because Brentford scored another goal in the 85th minute sealing the victory and grabbing the three points. Newcastle are now the 12 on the premier league table after that lost yesterday.

Yes Newcastle performance has drastically dropped in the premier league, they should have won or draw against a team like Brentford but they failed to instead losing all three points. While we talk about their failures and bad performances we must commend Brentford, they played very well yesterday and that’s why they got the three points, they wanted the win the most.

Today we’ll see Liverpool face off Manchester City both clubs are in an up n down form but Liverpool are looking the better but sometimes form doesn’t have much to play when it comes to this big teams in the EPL. A draw or a defeat to City will be very beneficial to Arsenal.

Here we must consider the difference between the two teams, but I mean the difference between the two teams, Manchester City team is much ahead in the current administration because the past Liverpool team has performed poorly, currently Manchester City team is with poor performance, so both teams are facing similar strength. But in the current position, the City team's defense department defenders are weak, yes there is a lot of competition with Arsenal team and Manchester City team in the points table. But Manchester City will try hard to ensure the victory of this match to occupy a place in the points table.

I was against the board sacking him because I believed he could build something better for United if he had the time and players. But seeing the same players perform so well under new management tells me one thing - Amorim’s style of play was the problem.

So the main problem of MU is finally answered. It's their previous manager(Amorim) who was the problem. He puts the squad into the backward. I know the current squad was also a part of his contribution, but he deserves no credit. It's because of he did nothing overall to the squad. So i think he was a scam since he came.

However, it's totally different after Carrick took the job as a caretaker. He took control the dressing room. He brings energy and confidence to the squad. He finally help them to find their rythm. He's the coach who was supposed to be.

It can be a lesson how big coach's role in the squad. Signing a wrong coach can lead into the disaster. Meanwhile, rightfully signing a good coach can give almost instant impact to the squad.

Amorim’s style didn’t work well with the players he had, his system only exposed the weaknesses of his players and not their strengths. It also didn’t help that he was stubborn and kept insisting on not changing his system. However, I think it would be unfair to say Amorim didn’t do anything good for the club. He brought  culture to the club and instilled a sense of professionalism in the players. Amorim was also responsible for weeding out players who were not underperforming. I was mistaken here since I initially placed a bet on Nottingham forest, I saw the odds and though the bookmarker lost it on this one giving Nottingham forest a better odds than Leeds united, I didn't know they already knew something about Leeds united that I myself didn't know 😁, rip my money on this one, better luck on me next time.

Nottingham Forest have been a big mess in the later part of the season despite starting very well. If you sample their last nine premier league matches, you will notice that they have won only three of them, drew two and lost four of them. This poor result shifted them from a champions league hopeful to a team just surviving being in the apex league. As they lose tonight, they might slide back into depression which was where they came from and were trying to pick themselves up. Maybe the coach will work on their psychology so that they don't allow this loss weigh them down.

Leeds United football team was dominant in this match because they did excellent goals in this match and they did 3 goals with a ratio of 3:1 in this match which looked very dominant match . Bogle did first goal of the match and that was in the first half of the match and opponent team playera could not defend the football at that time. Okafor did second goal of the match and he did this goal at 30 minutes and that was second goal of the match. Calvert-Lewin did goal again in this match and made one sided match and fans did not like that match because there was no excitement in this match and Lucca did last goal of the match which has no importance in this match.

I’m curious, and maybe there are some Man United fans here who can explain in more detail. Why is it that after MU didn’t have a permanent manager, the squad’s performance actually seems stronger and the players appear more motivated?

Or do all the MU players actually prefer not having a permanent manager? Or maybe Carrick has a better approach with the players, giving everyone more confidence?

It seems I’m not the only one who finds MU’s performance improvement a bit unusual. After Amorim was sacked, the red devils managed to beat strong teams like Arsenal and Man City, and a winning streak like this really looks impressive, doesn’t it?

The same thing happened when they fired Ten Hang and appoint a caretaker. The same thing is repeating itself now after sacking Amorin and appoint Carrick as a caretaker manager. Perhaps, Manchester United board should continue having a caretaker manager instead of permanent manager since it work better for them that way. 

Manchester United fans can not recall the last time they had a winning streak like this. It's not just a winning streak but it is a streak against the big teams in the league. That's quite impressive, no doubt.

Manchester city playing Liverpool is a game with zero predictability accuracy as both are back on winning runs and are consistent enough to make things work for there good if the opportunity comes. Judging from bookmakers conclusion we will say Liverpool is considered favourite to win the game based on there consistency level and quest to get back to expectations but i don't think we should be too fast to go on Liverpool direct win instead take it to be a 50 50 game with possibility of scoring much goals at last because Manchester city can  not afford to drop a point because of there aspirations of closing the gap between them and Arsenal and even playing to be crowned champions if chances comes.

It’s not that the players prefer a manager who is not permanent. It is more that the pressure and politics that come with a long-term boss dissipate. Then everyone goes back to playing clean football. When managers get fired,  everyone gets a reset in the locker room. Players who felt ignored before get a new chance and players who were not performing have to step up.

With an interim like Carrick,  the approach is less formal, there’s less tactics,  less thinking, and players have more freedom. Players start to focus on the effort more and not the system.  It is a noticeable change in the players’ body language.

Let’s be real,  players know that this is their audition period,  so players want to send the message that they deserve to be in the starting spot. The players’ urgency alone can raise the overall performance. It’s not magic. It is a mix of the right elements of psychology, simplicity,  and short-term motivation.

Manchester United are going through a crucial period where Carrick has replaced their old manager Amorim and he has been making a huge impact on the team as they are playing well and consistently at the moment. The gap with Arsenal is still wide but their recent performances have raised the expectations of the fans.
Everyone has a different ability to motivate for success in each situation and Amorim may not have been successful in that. Something magical has happened to the team that with the arrival of a new coach everything is changing and the team is winning regularly. It is a wonder that Carrick can motivate the players to win and whether he can continue to succeed in the next matches remains to be seen.

Perhaps, Manchester United board should continue having a caretaker manager instead of permanent manager since it work better for them that way. 

I think this could be both an answer and a challenge for Carrick to prove himself as the right manager for Manchester United. In my personal opinion, United's strong performance after changing managers is nothing new. Since SAF left the United coaching chair, they have consistently achieved good results under the new manager in the first few matches. But after that, they have consistently suffered. I think one of the reasons is that with a new manager, they will certainly have new tactics. And at first, this can be a weapon for them to defeat opposing teams. But after a few matches, other teams will try to analyze their strategies, and after weaknesses are exposed, Manchester United's performance will deteriorate again. This is just my personal assumption and may not be accurate. But I think a new manager with new tactics will make things difficult for opponents before their weaknesses are finally exposed. And this is a challenge for Carrick, regardless of whether he is different from the previous Manchester United manager. At the very least, I hope Carrick can deliver more wins than losses by the end of the season.
