Arsenal going to finish 2nd again because they didn't fix the biggest hole in this team for years. If they don’t win any trophies this season, the fans will lose their patience. i can see it clearly while watching, they don't have a real playmaker. you bought many players for every other position this year but why didn't you buy someone for the most important spot? They hoped for Eze but it didn't work out. Havertz is not a real midfielder and Eze wouldn't be the solution anyway. We are tired of the same mistakes every year....

If for any reason arsenal fails to win the English premier league or any major trophy this season, their will be consequence. Mikel arteta and most of arsenal board members might leave the club, especially Mikel arteta, because to whom much is given, much is also expected, so Mikel arteta have no excuses to make if arsenal are not crown champions this season.
As it stands now, the league title race is still very open, but it would really be pathetic of arsenal if they fail to win the league this season, considering how long they have been leading the chart.

If city can play well and win  consistently, then they still have a chance to occupy the top spot of the table. But if they perform irregularly like this, arsenal will be at the top of the table. We have seen arsenal's poor performance in a  few matches. It is not possible to guarantee that Arsenal will not lose points in the next matches. They are likely to lose  points. So City now has to win every match consistently aand try to reduce the gap with arsenal.

I think Brentford really exposed some of Arsenal’s weaknesses. They’re a physically strong side and made it uncomfortable all game. Thiago alone had enough chances to change the outcome but couldn’t take them. To be honest, Arsenal were fortunate not to lose — with only two shots on target, that’s not the level you expect from a team fighting for the title.

Now the gap to City is down to four points and the pressure is back on. Every team has poor games, even champions. The key is how often you allow that to happen. If I were Arteta, I’d rotate heavily in the FA Cup against Wigan on Sunday and play a full second-string side. The title race has to be the priority right now.

I think Brentford played very well against Arsenal, not just on set pieces and throwing,  but I also think the game should have gone either ways, so the both team should be happy it ended in a draw. This draw has reduced the point gap to 4 points, but I still believe that Arsenal will still win the Premier League, because they are still the most consistent team in the Premier League right now. This is one of  the reasons why they could not win this match. If arsenal had played with an  attacking strategy, maybe the match would have been more exciting and we would have seen more goals. If arsenal does not change their strategy in the upcoming matches, it will be  difficult for them to hold on to the top of the table.

To be honest, it’s very sad to see Arsenal gamble this title again this season, if Arsenal end in second position at the end of the season, they should sack Arteta, the man will bring nothing good to the team, because this is not the right time to play with the league title. Arne Slot again brought his team to win, after that he performed badly again, maybe the manager is considering because the situation has not been as bad as Tottenham, Arne Slot is still being maintained especially in the Champion League quite well, at least he is likely to last until his contract expires.

At what point are we admitting that this squad may just have a ceiling they can't break through when it actually matters? You know what Arsenal did the last three seasons? Finished second three times in a row.

Arteta removed Eze at half time. First league kick-off in two months, the guy who scored a hat-trick against Spurs back in November. That pretty much admitted that the midfield was broken. Then Madueke scores this beautiful header at 61' and what does Arteta do? Pulls him off at 70'. Nine minutes after scoring.

The bigger problem is not even with this match. Arsenal after midweek games concede three times normal. City just put 3-0 on Fulham midweek and rested players doing it. Arteta can't rotate because when Saliba doesn't play the win rate is from 69% to 44%. When Odegaard doesn't start Gyokeres gets zero shots. The curren team runs through one guy passing.

Arsenal's record against the current top six in this season is two wins in eight games. And they've still had Chelsea at home and the Etihad on the 18th of April.

I still think Arsenal finish this but my gut says it won't be decided until April 18 and if City close the gap to one or two points prior to then? I really don't know if this squad has the minds to handle the pressure of three consecutive second-place finishes and to win at the Etihad.

Indirectly you are saying that Eze, Zubimendi and Declan Rice do not have a good contribution, and I have realized this since the quarter of the league this season, Arteta needs to discipline the midfield to control the front attacks, the midfield plays an important role in providing opportunities to the attackers and helping the attack line form attacks, this is of course key, if these players cannot have a contribution that has a better impact then it is better to just replace them.
Arsenal has an accelerated match schedule, if they win of course 3 additional points for Arsenal again, Wolves can be beaten easily of course on the 19th, btw this match is faster.

Mancester city are on a different level now, snatching the trophy from Arsenal is easy at this point because they are just three points away from them and if they can win their next match then they would be able to catch with them. if Arsenal are not careful they might not end up winning the title, they have worked really hard to get to this point it would be very disappointing if they lost to man city.

The physical nature of the Brendford players was instrumental to their success in the game. They ensured that they didn't give Arsenal the space to engage in many attacking runs. They tried to attack but the Brentford defenders were up and doing. They ensured that the Gunner players were dispossessed of the balls.

The outcome of this game is a big blow to Arsenal because it has reduced the gap between Manchester City. Four points above City is risky. I just hope the Gunners will not experience the bad luck they have been facing for the past two seasons.

Brentford had a good defence and Arsenal had a poor attack, they currently have the strongest squad in the premier league but they could not break through Brentfords defence. I wasn't really expecting such outcome because ar arsenal knew how important that match was to them. This is going to give Manchester city the opportunity they need that's if they don't end up blowing their chance as well and I don't think they will.

Why the rush?! Lol. It is only a matter of time now. I hinted De Zebri in my head since he recently got sacked but they had other plans. Igor Tudor almost left Juventus in damnation but good thing he was sacked. I don't think him too well and how he's shaped his sqaud but a better view of all that will be seen. With 12 more matches to go, let's see if they can successfully survive being relegated.  Thomas Frank was with too many injured names,  there's no way he'd have done magic.
