Tottenham got destroyed in the Champions League and I don't think they are recovering from that gap. Therefore they had better focus completely on the Premier League from now on not to relegate...

I have just checked their upcoming games in the league and seen there are still tough games to play. Every game is tough for them though at this point. I won't be surprised if Liverpool finish them off at Anfield easily up next.

I expected such to happen cause their performance in the premier league is very poor and I knew it would affect them in the Champions League if there was no improvement , the coach Tottenham choose to help them escape relegation was a bad choice, I think he'll ruin the club further if they don't act fast.

I feel pity for them cause it gets tougher every week, I don't think Tottenham would win Liverpool but they should try to draw that match so it would help boost their confidence to win the next one after Liverpool, it's never going to be easy at Anfield but nothing is impossible.

Tottenham should indeed be focusing on the Premier League, as their Champions League campaign is over after their crushing defeat to Atletico Madrid. However, they must quickly improve their performance as their position in the standings is precarious, position Tottenham only one point above the relegation zone. The remaining eight matches will be a tough test for Tottenham, as they face strong opponents. Judging by their fixture schedule, it seems unlikely that Tottenham can avoid relegation.

Tottenham are definitely out of the champions league, because I don't see them coming back from the defeat in the first leg. They are not even in a good form right now, so a come back is out of it. They should definitely concentrate on the premier league, because they are on the edge of getting relegated, which will be very bad for a team like Tottenham. I know they have got some tough matches, but if they channel all their energy to the premier league and also try to improve their game, they might just survive and not get relegated this season.

I don't think it's going to be Tottenham alone even Chelsea is included because they have the same result in their matches and I don't think both teams can be able to qualify for the next round even though they will be hosting the match meaning the second leg. I was so embarrassed with all the premier League teams, they were so humiliated in this round of competition which a lot have hope for England because their response is something of joy. But this round is quite so disappointing which I feel that most of them will find difficult to qualify for the next round.

I really feel like Tottenham are relegating this season. They dodged a bullet last season thanks to the horrible season all relegation area members had there. But now it's different!

Burnley and Wolves are relegating obviously. However the last member is difficult to be decided. Tottenham, Forest and West Ham all are in only 1 point.

Tottenham are the team with the worst recent form in the PL now by the way. They still have 0 win in 2026 which is insane!  Shocked

Yes I completely agree with you. Tottenham, who have given so much attention to UCL, if they give some of that attention to Premier League, then maybe their position can be back to where it was before. Premier League Tottenham's position is very bad which is unimaginable and very sad for Tottenham fans. There is still time if Tottenham invest some of their energy in Premier League then maybe they can get rid of this drought. They still have some chance they can play UCL later, but maybe the chance of that happening is very low. But they need to save themselves from such defeat at this stage.

With the first leg defeat in the Champions League, Tottenham's chances have practically diminished, so they need to focus on escaping their difficult situation in the Premier League, currently just one point above the relegation zone. The situation is indeed difficult for Tottenham, but I am optimistic they can overcome this pressure, as Tottenham are a mid-table team. Several evaluations are needed and perhaps the manager's strategy is ineffective making it difficult for them to win in the Premier League. If Tottenham want to escape this pressure, they must avoid making any more mistakes in their remaining matches, as failure to make changes will only make their position even more difficult.

Despite Tottenham a Premier League club, they do not match the standard of Atletico Madrid, so far this season we have been watching Tottenham in their worst form, many believe that Tottenham closeness to the regulation zone will only be survived by mere luck because there is no difference between how they perform and how the teams currently in the relegation zone are performing.
Tottenham's situation is regrettable. I've seen this team's performance decline, and generally it's the opposite I think that, like every team, they've gone through critical moments, crises that happen to every team; it's normal. That's why we should wait and see how they continue to perform, I'd love to see this team recover, but it all depends on their mentality At this point, I see that what this team needs is mentality.

Premier league will not be easy for Tottenham, but it also depends a bit about how other teams are doing too. Not like Tottenham can win all their games, they will of course lose and draw like always, but what will teams below them do? If Nottingham or West Ham ends up doing better, that will be a very big trouble for Tottenham, the gap between those three is only a single point and one of them will fall, that's very sad being that close and yet relegating.

And also all three are good teams, sad to see one of them will be gone. In theory Leeds is just two points about Tottenham, and we still have plenty of games to go, so all three could stay while Leeds goes down but I do not see that happening to be fair.

Even without mentioning, they also know that they are already out of the Champions League, because they are playing against Atletico Madrid, and the interval of goals is not a match for them, which you will even think they will be able to do a comeback. It’s somehow impossible, but one thing is certain, if they didn’t focus more on the Premier League, they will be relegated, and that will be a bigger disappointment to them, because how can they explain that the previous season they finished in the top 4 teams, and now they are in relegation?

With the poor mentality of the team, it will only take a quality and experience Coach to steady the ship, because by the way things are going, their form is going from bad to worse, and in my opinion they should put all their effort on retaining their place in the English premier league, because it wouldn't be funny at all, if they eventually drop to the championship.
Their champions league campaign is over because their is no way they can beat atletico madrid four zero with their poor form domestically and in Europe, that's why I think that it's time a change at the top is required, because the club is not making any progress under the leadership of dany levy in the past few years.

What's interesting is that none of the six teams in the Champions League round of 16 from the Premier League have won. Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham, and Chelsea lost, while Arsenal and Newcastle only managed draws. I thought one of them would win, but it turned out not to be.

Even so, they still have a chance because some of them will be playing at home in the second leg. This will be an extraordinary performance because they must win and, of course, equalize their aggregate deficit. Meanwhile, Arsenal and Newcastle simply need a win, whatever the score.

Tottenham hotspur won Bodo/Glimt this season and Bodo/Glimt won Athletico Madrid, and even as Tottenham hotspur were consistently losing points in the premier league lately, i was expecting them to win Athletico Madrid, but i was shocked when Athletico Madrid scored 4 goals against Tottenham hotspur in first half and later won Tottenham hotspur 5:2. Tottenham hotspur has no chance of knocking out Athletico Madrid, so they should focus on the premier league if they can improve their performance and avoid finishing in the relegation zone this season.

Tottenham, West ham and Nottingham forest are three good teams. But this season their performance is poor. I am most  annoyed by tottenham's performance. They are in  very bad shape. They were in such bad form last season too. But tottenham management made  no effort to strengthen the squad. And this season , they have the possibility of falling into the relegation zone  again.

West ham are in the relegation zone. But Tottenham's point difference from west ham is only 1. Tottenham have lost all of their last 5 matches. If the streak of such abysmal performances continues, they will fall into the relegation zone. West ham and tottenham are now also trying  to stay away from the relegation  zone. And the performance of both these teams is better than tottenham.

Arsenal have fairly good chances, Liverpool might also have decent chances, because I think they will most likely beat Galatasaray at home. And even though Newcastle got a draw, their chances will be much lower, because beating Barcelona at Camp Nou is an even more difficult task. Chelsea and Tottenham most likely lost almost all their chances of continuing in the playoffs already in the first match. So yes, you are right the start of the playoffs has been very difficult for the English teams, at first I didn’t even notice it.

This isn't even about focusing in one league lol
Tottenham are cooked!!
This their present form is actually horrible, even worst than wolves when they where playing baldly,
And this is actually funny because this is a club that qualified for champions league. You can clearly see the bad decline in performance, they have good players, but I think they need to try another coach, no guarantee, but they should try another coach, a good one as a matter of fact.

I’m very concern about the premier league performance in the champions league in the face league, honestly they all performed below expectations, would you believe not even one premier league side could come out with at least a win in the first round. So far only 2 teams looks like they stand a big chance to qualify for the quarter finals which I think will be Arsenal and Liverpool, the rest are in a very huge probability.

After 5 teams advanced into the knockout round we all thought I we will at least see 3 or 4 of them in the quarter finals but so far it doesn’t seems so. Well next week is already around the corner and we will see which teams will make the premier league proud.

I guess people finally get to open their eyes and know that the Premier League is just overrated. What helps the Premier league to appear very popular is the big amount of money splashed in the league and the also taking up a big chunk of media rights compared to other leagues

And don't get me started on the football. It's so boring, to be honest. Very robotic, and teams are mostly looking forward to set pieces for goals. I watched Arsenal's match yesterday and at some points I even dozed  Grin

Am still baffled that Man City came out with a 3-0 lose and where kept clean sheet by Real Madrid a team that looks tactical blind with Arbeloa in charge, so far am not even that sure about Liverpool because with that attacking play I saw, it's going to be bloody at Anfield, Sloth has to come with an excellent idea to kill the momentum and spirit of the Turkish giants.

Tottenham had a bad run at the champions league game against Athletico Madrid as they went on to have a somewhat humiliating defeat. I don't think they can close in the gap in the second leg of the game but who knows..  Looking at their bad performance in the premier league, I wasn't really expecting them to win the game but also didn't envisage that they'll concede the number of gials they did.
They really should focus on not being relegated in the EPL. Tottenham hasn't been great this season and it's a pity as they've got capable players in their squad. They should start making better preparations for next season. If they manage not to get relegated.
