I was just going to ask why next PL matches are so late to be played. The CL and some other European leagues are starting earlier as you know.

But it turns out there are FA Cup matches next week... There are quarter final matchups to be underway. I had better watch the Manchester City - Liverpool one!

I just can't wait to see Arsenal finally ending their hunger for a PL trophy. I guess they won't fail this year. 

The next Premier League fixtures will take place on the 11th of April, and it's like that because of FA Cup fixtures scheduled to take place on Saturday and Sunday. Arsenal have tried their best to win the Premier League title in the past three seasons but they failed in their attempt, and I think they have a good chance of breaking the deadlock this season.

I agree with your view, but on the other hand Arteta certainly deserves the award, even though the season isn't over yet and Arsenal haven't secured a trophy. In the context of Manager of the Month, it has nothing to do with winning trophies, but rather how a manager builds a team, improves player performance, and creates consistency over a period of time. That's probably the most plausible reason we can think of.

So from your take on this, Arterta winning the manager of the month will distract him from winning the Premier League? Like I don't understand how you people trying to relate things like this together. The manager of the month is an award given to the best performing manager in a month and it's nothing more. Moreover, this award does not represent the reality because it usually based on community votes. Anything that is decided based on voting does not always mean the right person won, it's the one with most influence that usually wins in a poll. If Arsenal improve their performance when the league resumes from international break, they chance to win the league this season will be getting bigger and Arterta winning the manager of the month shouldn't be an excuse for not winning the league but boost their moral instead.

It’s just a classic excuse to say that Arsenal didn’t take that final seriously. The fact is, when it comes to player quality and tactics, Arteta they simply can’t beat Pep Guardiola in a final. So, whether they admit it or not that, in reality the mental state of Arsenal players in a final is something they just can’t overcome. There’s no doubt about their performance, but being in a final is a different story.

I think it is not an excuse, it was not about fatigue but about confidence. The reality is that they did not feel confident about this game, they wanted to focus on the league and they are afraid to lose the league. So it's not about just "not care" it's about fear but at what direction.

So yeah, they actually did not care, but not in a snubby way, not like "who cares?", but more like "we have bigger things to worry about" type of way. You can see from the players themselves that they are afraid to lose the league, so their mind is there.

That's probably the most plausible reason we can think of.

I'm not talking about him winning trophies, no, Arteta hasn't done anything that catches the eyes to say he deserves that award, the Gunners have been brilliant all through the beginning of this season no doubt but they are like a training that is moving without stopping, nothing new. They should look at other clubs like Fulham or the Brighton coach as I said before or let's give it to the Wolves manager, for me he hasn't dropped the way they approach their games, when all thought all hopes are lost they became reasonable and their play changed for good and he should be the man for the award, I just remembered how they made Liverpool look stupid, beat Aston Villa... honestly this man Rob Edwards the Wolves manager should be the man for me and Arteta should definitely wait till end of this campaign, that is where the award would very much appreciated.

It should be given both in performance and all that yes I know but at this point Arteta doesn't deserve it, maybe I don't but it in the right way but Arsenal need everything that seems like a distraction off the club, they need to focus more than having this award coming to the Emirates. For me the attention is too much for the Gunners and if such happens that Arteta won this award it will be good but at the same time it will make every team to see them as the biggest target and the pressure would be there, let's win the manager of the month and some fans will be like he's the manager of the month but could not win this particular team or a situation where they are being eliminated from the champions league, people must talk but that's how I see it.

I'm certain that arsenal would raise the trophy,it won't be like previous seasons where arsenal failed to win it. This season they are the favourite to win the title,many arsenal fans are waiting for that glorious moments. Manchester city still has hope this season they still have a chance to win the title and seems they haven't given up yet too but that's a dead hope. I don't think they would be able to overtake arsenal because they are only a few games remaining.

It is fair enough for Arsenal that the loss came close to the international break because it would avail them with much time to plan for the upcoming fixtures and how to tackle them, am very sure that this loss wouldn't affect Arsenal's ambitions towards the title because it would further motivate them to do better until the goal is achieved.

Nah! It wouldn't affect them because it's a small trophy and the international break will make them forget about it easily and put themselves together for the rest of their EPL matches. Manchester City has won the only trophy that they are capable of winning if not, they would have ended the season without any trophy.

Asernal needs to be very careful so that they don't drop more points than expected.

Of course, at least this will serve as a warning to Arteta and his boys to understand that they owe the fans a trophy this season, and not just any other trophy but two of either the most important trophies in England and in Europe.

I really want Arsenal to win this trophy because the long they started fighting parents specially last receive just ask yourself but at the end of the season their effort go in vein. Even this time around I am still not confidence that the trophy will be for them because the point gap is just like a wind which can disappear anytime, but if they can be able to win Manchester City I will say that the trophy is made for them, but right now I cannot say anything, despite my statement I still want them to win because they have come too far with the best players so because of that they deserve a trophy.

Arsenal has been the favorite since the beginning of the season yes and they have been favorite for seasons now and yet they didn't win the league neither did they win the champions league so it is not longer about being favorite but rather being consistent till the end of the season and I won't say Arsenal is in a bad form even though they lost against Manchester city, that doesn't mean they are weak and it will be deserving if they win the league because they played well.

Arsenal are a strong team this season. They have been able to keep their overall performance  stable. Arsenal are not in a shaky state like they have been in the last few seasons. Their performance in both the champions league and the premier league is stable and strong. Two other important things are that Arsenal are ahead of manchester city by a large margin. And City's performance is still relatively  inconsistent. So it is very unlikely that City will win all their upcoming matches and reduce the points gap with Arsenal.

God forbid they lose all because such humiliation will live with them till the end of time even if they end up winning the UEFA Champions league title some other season at least they will be laughed at for this particular season so they should try all possible best to at least win the English premier league title this season that alone can cover up the shame even if they bottle the other two trophy, because i know they must bottle two out of the three but let it don't be the English premier league, because they are not yet certain of that trophy like their legs is still shaking.

I hope you know that about 11 players from Arsenal will are out if international games due to injury, these injuries will be supervise until some of them can play for their respective teams. If this is not manage well, I think Arsenal are in big problem because 11 players is so important to the team for them to be able to win the Premier league in this crucial time, I don't want to believe Arsenal will lose the Premier league after doing everything to secure the first place.

We shouldn't underrate Manchester City, these guys have nothing left to play in any league now. What's left for them now is the Premier league. Since it's already announce that about 11 players are out of the International duty, even though Arsenal are going to make it, there are some players that are not going to make it fully until after some times. These tough time for Arsenal and maybe opportunity for Manchester City.

It is mostly thanks to the Alex Ferguson era... He was a really legendary manager for the Red Devils! They literally dominated a significant number of years in the Premier League.

Otherwise yeah you are right. They haven't won the league for 13 years. Their biggest achievements have been like Europa League and FA Cup trophies since then.

But they have a really solid history. They have the most number of Premier League trophies (20) together with Liverpool...

Arteta deserves the player of the year award, not the player of the month. EPL can keep their award for Michael Carrick or Igor Tudor to wish him farewell after parting ways with Tottenham today.

The cause regarding the Premier League player of the month is propaganda. It started when Reuben Amorim and Maresca would win the player of the month and go on to lose games in a row. Arsenal fans dont want the same fate, so they dont vote for Arteta anymore.

Let's see how everything goes, some may be saying the manager Arteta is not competent, when some are still there given him upload of being competent in what he does, we have our different opinions regarding what they may prefer and value, this is where we all cherish things than others, if you get the necessary support needed to win this title, there we can see all the influence to which he contribute to his ambition over the consideration given.

Considering the general performance of Arsenal in the recent times I wouldn't also like to give the MOTM to Arteta. But taking the recent results into account they are still the best mathematically.

It's hardly to say the sack of Tudor is good or bad for the club. The fact that Tudor was agreed by himself to leave. He knows the pressure is too big to settle. So he decides to offload his job, then leave as a free agent.
Then again Tottenham is already internally and externally destroyed. It's hard to fix it even if you bring Pep, Jose, or even Klopp calibre to the squad. That's my reason to think this team is finished. They will be relegated following their lose to Sunderland soon.

As for his replacement. I've heard Ben Davies is the most potential candidate to be their interim. They being linked to Adi Hütter, but Adi indicates in his interview he won't take the job. So i put Ben Davies as the favorite here, though he just earns his coaching license recently.

How sure are we that Arsenal will be able to win the FA Cup? We all saw what happened in the Carabao Cup, no one was expecting such a poor performance from Arsenal in the final, but that is what ended up happening.

The only league I still have hope that Arsenal will be able to win this season is the Premier League, even though I know they have chances to make it up to the semi final in the Champions League. But how sure are we that they will be able to make it to the trophy?

To me, I will say Arsenal is not a team you will put full hope on. That is why they are seen as a trophyless team. It is not that they don’t have hope of winning four trophies, and they have already lost one already.
