With how Chelsea is playing how are they even going to achieve that. So Chelsea, once again, lost. I really struggle to understand why they chose to fire Maresca only to bring in this manager from their sister team, Strasbourg. What did he do in order to earn that spot? And his results now are extremely mediocre. The management really made a big mistake firing Maresca. And let's not forget that this also lead to the Fernandez problem. Very poor decision.

In the Champions League and EPL, they've lost seven of their last eight matches, with their only win coming against Port Vale. It's been a disappointing and nightmarish season for Chelsea. I think it's more sensible to change managers after the season is over. A change near the end of the season can disrupt the team's entire balance. I think they took Manchester United as an example and thought they could be like them, but they made that decision earlier, and Michael Carrick did a fantastic job managing them.

I have completely lost faith in their squad. Ever since they fired their coach and did not bother to even replace them with a new one just goes to show you they have given up on advancing anymore in either competition.
They sort of knew their season in the EPL is done with and stopped trying to get out the middle spot where they currently are. Their players seemed washed after that dreadful performance against Brighton not even scoring a goal.

Even Tottenham who are further down the table and threatened of being relegated out of the Premier League had more urgency for a win in their last match.
And the Hot Spurs form was much better than theirs in the last few games even though many fans do not want to admit to it.

No way.. not this Chelsea, not this poor form, not this one's. It's just like Arsenal, if we compare. Arsenal has failed to lift the EPL trophy for three seasons past and remained second l. This season too, it's still about to repeat. Now, Arsenal will always drop form, and play matches without winning any. But this season is worse because they aren't playing anything encouraging at all, unlike Previous seasons, where there only problem was not able to win matches. Either they loose or just draw. But this season, it is worse because they are not even playing anything fine. No good football, no stylist play, no encouragement, and so, its clear that they already lost.

The same goes to Chelsea. They maybe playing bad but still end up winning something. But this season, the play is really bad. Too poor that they aren't creating anything good on the pitch. Saying they may win the FA cup is a total disagreement for me. But let's see

Premier league is currently in an interesting situation. The top two spots have a tough fight, while the bottom two spots are already set for relegation. With one spot having three candidates, it's not easy to predict who is going down all are giving their best.

Tottenham is visiting Wolves for their survival chance. West Ham is hosting Everton. This is an interesting encounter. After these games, Nottingham Forest is going to visit Sunderland. This is also another challenging game for Nottingham. 3nil against Chelsea and Brighton was really hungry for more goals. At some point it felt like Brighton don't want the game to end because they were all having fun, from the goalkeeper down to the strikers or forward all played nothing impressive tonight and it looks like it will continue till the end of the season because the team or the squad doesn't look like the guys that played the Club World Cup games, too bad for them. Have been watching SkySports since they ended the game and I kept asking myself, "what will Liam Rosenior give as an excuse for this terrible display"? Since the PSG game things started falling apart, 4 games in the EPL no goals and tonight's game was poor, no shot on target, and tomorrow a Chelsea fans will say is because there was no Cole Palmer...the team is like Liverpool but in a weaker way.

Chelsea was lucky that Danny Welbeck did not start the match from the start if not Brighton would have scored more than 3 goals. Chelsea players completely played nothing against Brighton yesterday and the few chances they had they could even manage to score one single goal and avoid playing 5 premier league games without scoring a single goal, Chelsea will continue with this performance till the season end because nothing seems to be working for them, they are gradually taking Tottenham hotspur steps right now. I will not say Liam Rosenior has ran out of ideas because he won his first 5 games with Chelsea. Chelsea has no hope of playing in the Europa league next season there condition is becoming critical and may not be able to win any game till the end of season but they can still play in the conference league. Chelsea perform well against Manchester United but lost the game so i wasn't expecting them to loss to Brighton yesterday but they disgraceful lost the game 3-0, Chelsea hope now of playing in the conference league depends on the performance of Brentford and Bournemouth who has the same points with Chelsea.

After Brighton scored the first goal i knew that the game was going to be a disaster,I had ny doubts from the beginning but I thought perhaps they might have a chance of winning but they lost without even scoring a single goal. They might have a good come back just like you said, because Chelsea has this constant habit of taking football fans by surprise when they least expect it, for now their performance is poor though.

Due to the FA Cup semi-finals scheduled for this weekend, we will have two games to be played today:
Burnley Vs Man City
Bournemouth Vs Leeds

Burnley have nothing to play for anymore, as their chances of avoiding relegation are purely mathematical. Man City have a lot at stake. They need to win and preferably by a high margin, as that could turn out to be a tiebreaker deciding on who wins the league.

If Burnley has nothing left to play for in terms of staying in the Premier League, that’s the reality of their situation right now—they have only 20 points heading into Matchday 33, and from many angles of analysis, there’s no indication that Manchester City will lose, though things could play out differently on the field.

So what about the match between Bournemouth and Leeds United?
Bournemouth are the home team and they want to play in the Europa League next season. The 6th spot, which qualifies for the Europa League, has been occupied by Brighton since they beat Chelsea 3-0 yesterday. Saying that Chelsea will not play in the Europa league next season is an under statement, from the way Chelsea is playing right now they might not even play in Europa league or Conference league next season, Brighton has overtaking Chelsea in the league standings and Chelsea might drop more down in the league standings because they could continue like till the season end. After what Chelsea played against Manchester United i was expecting them to win Brighton but Chelsea disappointed me and spoiled the bet i bet on them yesterday.

Every football club has their season, so I guess it's just safe to say that this is not actually Chelsea's season seeing how bad their performance has been all through this season, it is very surprising to see them lose to Brighton yesterday, and it's not just they lost, Brighton managed to score 3 good goals and Chelsea was not able to respond even with one goal, that's very shameful to be honest, and this coming after they lost to manchester united by 1 goals to nothing..

Lets say in the last five matches Chelsea have played, they've neither drawn or won any game, it's all been a straight loss all through..

This is not looking good for the club, though the still qualify for the Europa conference league, but they could lose that position if they don't improve on their performance real soon since they are in the same exact point with two other clubs.

This Rosenior and the Chelsea is really confusing, like wasn't this the same team that was winning in time of Maresca, even if it wasn't a strict win, at least it wasn't as bad as this, my only observation to this is this Chelsea squad don't want to play for Rosenior, so they are playing against him, so they can fire him, and Chelsea is found of doing that, but little did they know that they are not just doing Rosenior but the entire Chelsea team, and it seems this is the same manager they will be using come next season, so they earlier they learn to make peace with him the better for them.

It's even more disturbing when we check their remaining matches.  Forest, Liverpool, Spurs then Sunderland. I don't think Chelsea can win two matches out of their remaining fixtures which makes Rosenior even more incompetent for his role. The situation is already worst and all hope of playing in any of the European competitions next season is gradually fading off.

There's no doubt Chelsea can put up a surprise, they have done similar in previous seasons but I'm being sceptical about this very season. Rosenior doesn't look like one who can make this happen with the current stat Chelsea has recorded in their last matches.

You just don't understand the ticket distribution system for the Champions League  If Aston Villa win the Europa League (they are 50% favourites) and finish 5th in the Premier League, the 6th team in the Premier League will qualify directly for the Champions League. In fact, Chelsea just need to win the race for 6th place (where I think they are the favorites) and hope for Aston Villa. Let's see how Chelsea play after the coaching change, maybe they can revive the season.

Champions League football is definitely over for Chelsea next season,  because I don't see a way they can qualify for this competition next season with the way the team is playing right now. Chelsea is really struggling right now and I also think their morale is on the low. I won't be surprised if they don't qualify for any European competition next season. Chelsea have a serious problem and they need to find a way to fix the issue before next season, so they can start competing again. As long as I am concerned, Chelsea will still lose more matches before the end of the season,  because they are even finding it hard to score a single goal.

Champions League will be very tough for Chelsea if they didn't get a better coach next season, because with how they are playing this season they can't even finish top 5 next season. Let watch how the season will ends for them, this evening I notice that they have sack the current coach of Chelsea and I can probably said they make a good decisions, because Chelsea is a big club and they shouldn't be losing matches back to back in the league competition with how they have good players and they really spend alot of money to buy players, but currently they are not doing well the coach is not is not doing any good job for the club anymore. What is seriously the problem with the Chelsea Football Club, they’re going from bad to worse. What an embarrassing display of football, mistakes here and there and it’s been like that for a couple of games now…, Can we all agree that this new coach Liam Rosenior is an absolute waste of time, he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

The scoreline could be have been worse than what it was yesterday. Kudos to Brighton they truly deserved their victory. What an incredible performance.

I seriously don't really know what exactly is happening to them right now. As a fan of Chelsea it's actually frustrating and I feel disappointed whenever I watch they match, their performance have been very poor on thoer several matches, just be losing consecutively. I didn't even understand the new Coach at all, I was happy as the sacked him seriously, wel at times the problems are not coming from the Coach only even the players also contributes to thier poor performances and losses. I wasn't expecting Chelsea could be on this current stage or position in the table, theory points are just dropping drastically, some of the players among them usually makes many mistakes as if they don't have a direction when playing. Kudos to Brighton on thier consistency towards this particular match, they were actually organized and well prepared for the match,moreover they deserve the win. Well play to manchester city.
