Few months ago Arsenal were ahead of Manchester city with about 9 points, which everyone were predicting Arsenal to win the premier league title this season, because people never believed Manchester city will be able to meet up with Arsenal this season anymore, but today both Manchester city and Arsenal are currently having the same points, and everyone has lost hope  in Arsenal to win the premier league title.

I won’t say any of them is having easy fixtures, because even teams you think are weak do end up surprising us when the season is about to end, or when playing against strong teams in periods like this. We saw how Burnley played against Manchester city in their last match, Burnley that have been relegated already gave Manchester city difficult time in the match, and city were able to score just 1 goal in the match.

To be fair, it was not that City wouldn't win, they could, and in fact it wasn't even about Arsenal losing, they could have lost the game against City and people knew that. It was the fact that Arsenal wouldn't lose against a team like Bournemouth was the problem and that did happen. Because if that did not, we would have seen Arsenal have three more points above City, and even a tie would have been fine for them.

Considering they have games left that are like Burnley, Fulham, West Ham, Palace, the only game important left would have been Newcastle and these are all simple games Arsenal should win. But looking now, I have to say, even those do not look easy right now and Arsenal could lose even these games

This season's Premier League title race is incredibly tight, potentially being decided by goal difference. Now, Manchester City and Arsenal are not just looking to win their remaining matches; they must also score as many goals as possible in every match.

IMO, whatever Arsenal do will just end up the same as previous seasons. Right now, we can see that City still have one game in hand, and if we assume they win it, they’ll be 3 points ahead of Arsenal. So Arsenal are basically just hoping for luck, waiting for City to slip up and lose a few games. But realistically, that’s not going to happen, City won’t waste this opportunity.

Right now this is a very good time for Manchester city to use any single opportunity they have to get ahead of Arsenal. But even with that I’m an Arsenal fan and I can tell I’m in pain seeing Arsenal performing this way, when we have already dominated the competition from the beginning till now.

this is not new seeing Arsenal performing well and then lter messed up, but if we look at this season their performance is actually and it was giving a trophy vibes, hoping that Arsenal will win the trophy this season. But as it is now they are not more the favourite in the premier league competition, which is very sad. I just hope Arsenal will make sure things didn’t change, once Manchester city go ahead of them it’s over.

Sunderland came into the game hard, they had a couple of chances and had possession, but i cannot believe my eyes now, despite all the attempts and possession, they are now 4 goals down in front of their home supporters, the premier league is surely full of surprises.

I know that Nottingham Forest have been performing quite well recently and they are also unbeaten in their last four Premier League matches, but I didn’t expect they would put in such an impressive performance  against Sunderland and now they’re leading 4–0 at half-time. Sunderland certainly dominated the match, as they should have had the home advantage , but Nottingham Forest proved to be more tactical than the opposition. The match isn’t over yet, but this is clearly a win for Nottingham, as it looks unlikely that  Sunderland will be able to turn things around

This victory means a great deal  to Nottingham, as it gives them greater assurance that they will not slip back into the relegation  zone, where they are currently 16th in the table, six points ahead of West Ham and eight points  ahead of Tottenham , which means that even if both teams were to win, Nottingham  would still remain firmly in 16th place

It got up to a 5th goal, like what a match. The only consolation goal Sunderland thought they might have had turned out to be cancelled by the VAR.
It’s really surprising how Sunderland, the one team that was explosive through the beginning of the season, being very defiant in the face of most of the top teams in the league, had a great match against Arsenal and now, they are so underperforming and couldn’t even get a goal in a home match, I didn’t think it possible. Especially when the goals started pouring in from the first half.

This is the first time am seeing a team beat up Sunderland at their home by 5 goals and also keeping clean sheet. I like the mentality that Nottingham forest are showing, they won their previous games because they know what's at stake. Right now they have created some breathing space for themselves. They still need to continue that winning consistency till the end of the match days  because Westham and Tottenham are also finding ways to survive relegation. it true that they might have chance to win Aston Villa at the semi final, but I feel that Villa is currently powerful than them. Aston villa has a strong tool at their hands which is their Coach Unai Emery. This man has won Europa League with different team's, so he will be looking to add another to his cabinet.

I know man city will fight very well this current premier league title this season, you know this is football and is really hard to predict the outcome, Arsenal can still win the league if they'll continue with their best form again. I just checked man city remaining matches and Arsenal own then i noticed city have more strong matches than arsenal and I'm not really sure if city will win all the remaining matches. But let's see between city and arsenal who'll win the league, if arsenal messed up this time around it's will be hard for them to win league again.

You are right, even as unfortunately as this is for me as an arsenal fan, I don't have to argue blindly like I am not seeing what the reality really is, Arsenal has disappointed as many of us who are their dedicated fans, but then it's not the end of the world yet, guess we move on and hope for a better season next season.

Arsenal's major problem continues to be nothing else other than consistency, this club and the team lack consistency, what does it take for a team to be consistent in performance? Does it mean that Arteta can't look at his boss and copy from him? Speaking of the manchester city coach - Pep Guardiola, Artete should try and learn how to train his squad to be consistent from this man, I believe guardiola to be a nice man and would willingly offer Arteta tips that will help me raise a better football squad.

First half 4 goals, 1 goal in the second half to 5 goals, great Nottingham Forest they were able to rise, which was originally very close to the relegation zone now the points are getting further away from Tottenham.

Looking at the replay of the first half, Sunderland's poor defense allowed Nottingham Forest players to score freely, because if you look at it, it is so easy every time a cross is given to become a goal.

I want to see how Wolves vs Tottenham will be --- whether this is an opportunity for Tottenham to win with a team that has been relegated, Wolves.

Another great show by Nottm Forest. They defeated a higher-ranked Sunderland 5-0 in an away game. Looking at Forest's recent performance, it's hard to believe they are placed at a distant 16th place. They have been undefeated in 6 league games and in 8 games considering all competitions.
Their next game is a semi-final against Aston Villa, and I'm starting to think Villa could be in trouble.

Arsenal were leading Manchester City with some points before Arsenal performance dropped and they started performing poorly, if I will be honest at some points I was telling people that no team will be able to take over the first position from Arsenal this season, but as we can see Arsenal are back to the second position which you going to always find them at the end of the season. Arteta should have learn from his previous mistakes and fix things up, Manchester city didn’t start well, and Arsenal couldn’t utilize that opportunity.
