I had lots of confidence on Manchester City coming into this game after the halftime score, I had this confidence of Manchester City coming from behind to get the job done, when Haaland scored to make it 1:1 my confidence level grew more that another goal will be coming from Manchester City but instead it came from Villa. First loss of the season for the new Manchester city boss after 21 points secured, I'm sure it's one of those games were you create a lot of chances to unable to convert them, that is what has happened to Manchester City, they created chances but couldn't convert them, they have paid for the missed chances by losing on the process

I am not even surprised at the result of Aston Villa vs Manchester City. I actually expected the result of the match to be something like that. I said to my self before the game that worse result for Aston villa from the game will be a draw. Immediately Nicolas Jackson got the early goal I was expecting more pressing from the villa side which they did and press more in the first half, they had a couple more  of chances but failed to convert.

Nicolas Jackson is doing well at villa, scoring brace today and registering four goals already in the premier league this season. Is like the dude was on the pitch to send a message to Enzo maresca on why would he have not considered him rather than sending him on loan to Bayern last season. However, if only Nicolas Jackson can be more consistent he would be a great striker.

Some managers like Unai Emery transform mid players like Nicholas Jackson into fine lethal strikers. This is just the start of something big for him, can he remain consistent is the next big question. I think he can, he just needs to be humble and take it one game at a time. It's beautiful how Unai Emery has signed players who we consider not good enough from other clubs and use them to win games consistently.

Nicholas Jackson didn't just find himself on the score sheet, he was also responsible for creating chances. That defeat is officially Manchester City's first in the Premiership, the defeat has enabled Arsenal level with the same points as them. Jackson indeed deserves the man of the match award.

Full time and City lost to Villa

It's unpleasant result, minus 10 bucks for me, but on the other hand the cheating club lost three points, so there are some positive aspects. I didn’t watch the match, but it seems the final score doesn’t reflect what happened on the pitch, the statistics show a significant advantage for City:

shots on target: 2-7
corners: 4-7
possession: 37%-63%

It’s great to see Haaland score again, it looks like he’s returned to his prolific, high-scoring form this season. I’m also interested in this, as I’ve placed a bet on him being the Premier League’s top scorer.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are also putting in a questionable performance - by the 60th minute, the score remains rather precarious, at just 1-0.

Manchester City were able to attack more in this match, and even had the chance to score a goal. But the result was beyond everyone's expectations. It has been proven time and time again that creating more chances and taking advantage of those chances is not the same thing. Even City had the ball in their possession for most of the match. They took 15 shots, 7 of which were on target. On the other hand, Aston Villa managed to put 2 on target with 8 shots. I wonder if City was unlucky after seeing all this. City actually conceded goals because of their mistakes. Nicolas Jackson took advantage of a small mistake in their defense to score the first goal.

Arsenal has already won Everton 2:0, it was a tough match for them but they won with a clean sheet. Arsenal has now tied points with Manchester City but what separates both teams is goals difference since Manchester City scored more goals than Arsenal.

Arsenal are on fire, they have a solid team, Arteta has built this squad for six years and they're giving the desire result e ery week,  if you watch Arsenal you will see a team that's so connected and determined to defend the league title this season,  Arteta has the edge to win it after wining 7 games in 8 games that's a good result for the champions.

Manchester city was outshined by Aston Villa ans they clinch the win Manchester cite are still leading the table with a goal difference, both team are still potential and favorites  to win to life the league this season,  they're only team that look serious the rest are still struggling while Arsenal and Manchester cite has  solid squad to challenge for the league.

Honestly I knew a day will come when Manchester city will be handed their first premier league defeat of the season but I never expected it will be coming from Aston Villa today. Manchester city came into this game with high expectations from fans as a win for city, worst case will be a draw match. I don’t know what happened but I think Aston Villa did a great job today by winning, Most particularly Happy for Nickolas Jackson who is finding his best form right now at Aston Villa, scoring two goals against his former coach at Chelsea. Congratulations to Aston Villa.

Man City were just busy keeping possession without clear purpose and Aston Villa were very okay with allowing them to have all the possession in the world because they had a game plan, they just allwo them pass the ball around and then defend in a very compact way then hit City on a fast counter once they get the opportunity. Immediately after the equalizing goal was scored by Haaland, Man City hold on to the ball for a long time, but Villa kept their cool and didn't lose formation. Villa got the reward of their commitment 2 goal for the fans to celebrate at the end.

Aston villa are still into the game with a 1up goal advantage against Manchester city that were not able to protect the 1 -1 equalising score from Haaland. Jackson took into the City's net his second goal of the game putting villa up for the three points in this match.

With 4 minutes added time to stop the match I have my doubts that Manchester city can do any magic again to make certain of a draw. Is this the City people are favouring to win the league trophy this season? I can not see that motivation from this Maresca players.

The match has ended and Manchester City had to concede defeat to Aston Villa. Even though they lost by just one goal, a win is still a win, no matter what the final score is. This time, Manchester City had to go home empty handed, without even a single point. Honestly, this result is quite disappointing. Even though the match was held at Aston Villa’s home stadium, Manchester City actually had a very good chance of winning, as was clearly evident from their possession throughout the match and the many opportunities that have been created. I commend Aston Villa goalkeeper, Zion Suzuki who made several successful saves.

The most Interesting game lost over the weekend, finally City dropped off some points, I don't see anything home advantage when it comes to this game, Aston villa did a good display of by leading the game in the first half, Manchester city wouldn't care where they're playing you when they wants to win a game. Aston villa came with a better game plan than their opponent,  That's indeed a good job.

Aston Villa have won five of their last six matches in all competitions, so you could see that they were gaining momentum and predict a win against City. I thought Emery’s side were certainly capable of getting a draw against City, but I didn’t expect them to win. On top of that, Aston Villa are the reigning Europa League champions, and a team doesn’t win that title unless they have real quality. Even the Premier League leaders should be wary of Villa.

I was so surprised to see Manchester City losing for the first time in the Premier League this season. Aston Villa did absolutely well to turn their opportunities into goals like Manchester City who have lost it completely. Despite I know they will face a lot of challenges since the are playing an away match but I was still expecting victory from them, but unfortunately they could not be able to do anything and now they are having equal point with arsenal because both of them have lost a game.

What surprises me the most is Nicolas Jackson, he was playing confidently and also perform excellent to the extent that he was awarded man of the match. Honestly I feel so happy for you because after going around he has finally find his space here.

It was a very good game and I think Manchester City played well, but Aston Villa were clinical in front of goal. They only had 2 shots on target and they scored both attempts. I never really expect Aston Villa to win the game,  but I knew it was going to be a difficult game for Manchester City, because they have always struggled against Aston Villa when playing away. I think Manchester City player well, but it was not just there day and there is nothing they can do to win today.

However, Chelsea vs Tottenham is another interesting game i intend to watch today too.

Chelsea lost at home, with a team that we thought would not win again, it turned out to be a wrong prediction.

I saw Chelsea in the first half his attack was quite good, it's just that the Tottenham goalkeeper made a few saves, but in the second half it was bad for Chelsea.

I don't know what to say, with his absence Joao Pedro Chelsea's attacking line is less sharp.

Chelsea should have be more careful in that game because the first goal was like an own goal from the goalie. Palmer red card also became a set back to the team which gave Tottenham their best chance to get all three points from the game.

I think, overconfidence and underestimating Tottenham cost them the lost. Tottenham did well today.

Manchester city lost was less of a surprise to me than that of Chelsea's lost, like Aston villa is known for troubling big teams each time they face one, and again despite the fact they didn't start the season quite too good, their performance in the UEFA champions league kind of prove a point that they still have something to offer in the English premier league, but Chelsea defeat was totally out of the picture to me, I never expect Chelsea could lost that game, deep down to me the winning of this season league title is still a mystery to me.

It is always good to use the opportunity you get and turn it into goals when you have the chance. Today Tottenham Hotspur shocked us and Chelsea fans by defeating Chelsea 2:0 away from home. It was a closely contested game for me and the unlucky red card for Cole Palmer reduced the effort of Chelsea to mount a comeback. Tottenham now have two wins.

I’ve always had this feeling that spurs would win this game or force a draw but I honestly didn’t expect them to keep a clean sheet, de zerbi going into this match I felt he had a lot more to prove than Alonso, ever since I watched their match against united I knew things were starting to click for the manager and results would come eventually, he used Chelsea to make a statement and I believe he specially prepared for this game and had a better game plan than Alonso.

Maybe cause they’ve had a really rough start to the season causing everyone to underestimate them, I think it’s time for a revaluation, for them to keep a clean sheet against this Chelsea side that has a super attack and eventually take the win says a lot!

Sorry about that, derby games are always interesting and Tottenham Hotspur delivered very well, and it was a back to back win for spurs maybe they could improve more this season.

Tottenham Hotspur actually deserve the winning, they had more control of the ball over Chelsea with more shot on target, Xabi Alonso isn't doing bad yet, this is his first season with Chelsea and i see him building a strong team maybe with time we can see Chelsea challenging for the tittle again.

Chelsea does not have a second team, how will they come out with a good performance this season if they don't have a second team?

Because I don't get how some of your first team players suffers injury and you go taking losses this is not the first time Joe Pedro was absent in Arsenal's match and they took a loss, now Pedro is absent again with Martinez and they took a loss again. What will zabi Alonso do about this? That means if Chelsea's first player surface injuries they could end up the season like they did last time.
