I have invested little money on Ethereum last year when the price was low, but am still waiting for the price to drop down to $1000 before I can invest again to stand in a good position to earn big income from my investment, because I believe the price of Ethereum will hit $20,000 in five years time which is my target. There are some signs in the market that made many investors to believed that Ethereum will increase higher than this before the end of this month of August, but it will not reach $4,000 in this month of August which is the target of some holders in this new month. These people are focusing on Ethereum and buying more Ethereum nowadays. It's most people's favorite crypto currency as well. It shows how much people like Ethereum and invest in it. People think that the Ethereum block chain is going to have a higher market cap than Bitcoin in the next bull run, and it has the ability to change the entire financial industry. Bitcoin served its purpose, but Ethereum has just so much utility and liquidity on the block chain that it's unstoppable. No way, Ethereum or any coin have no potential to pass btc in market cap. I love to hold Ethereum because many good news outcome about Eth. Today I was reading that 23% of Eth has been staked which means that big whales still believe that Eth is still long term projects in their eyes. Vitalik is working to make it easy mining for Ethereum which will increase the stability and speed of Ethereum.
I think small players could also get profit because it's not necessary to buy whole e to Ethereum. One can invest according to his portfolio. If 50% or 33% invested in Ethereum then it is not bad idea.

Big players are much more serious investors than us regular individuals who mostly gamble on riskier coins. They only go for the big/top coins as they are HODLing them for the long term. Americans have a specific type of food that they love, just like on any other countries. Maybe the same thing can go with sports and others but I don't think so it also applies with cryptocurrencies.

I don't get it, why would you want to go for ETH just to invest in meme tokens ( (I assume you meant here going through dex)? Imo, meme tokens are pure gamble, you may make money or lose also, while ETH I consider it to be safe investment.

eth is the top altcoin in crypto so don't hesitate to invest for the long term,
it's my only trusted altcoin which is i want to buy at anytime, but it's a big coin so i can't hold enough,
but still btc,eth both of my long time holding coin, 70% of my portfolio in these coin,
