The proper name is Muniti, not Muniticoin. The website was registered as MunitiCoin simply because Muniti was not available as a domain. Thanks!

He must have seen the download prompt too. For some reason when I visited the site the first time, I also was given a download prompt instead of a website. I see the pool now though. I ran virustotal.com and it appears clean. I'm not sure why your site is doing that though you might want to look into it, if you are in fact genuine.

That's been an edge case some have seen...
I see the issue, going to look into why that is.  Undecided

The order book: http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/orderbook.php?pair=mun-btc&market=bittrex

The monster is awakening...  Cool

I know radi is against buying Mintpal, but would anyone be interested in getting a community agreement to put together to buy it? It would take about 6 BTC. I'd be willing to commit a couple if there's interest. I think it would be great to really get this coin off the ground because voting in might take months.

FYI, I put in a temp patch until I figure why it's serving the wrong MIME type.

If you go there from here you'll be redirected to a working page.

btcltcdigger kindly finished a coin explorer for Muniti, but he claimed that due to some temporary bug, some features are not working properly on it.

Bittrex has just reported us on Twitter as a highly traded coin, and we're now the second most traded coin on that exchange.

By all means, if you want to get together a community effort to get Muniti listed on MintPal, please do so. We can perhaps donate part of the Muniti reserve which we collected thanks to our own personal mining rigs without touching the bounty reserve per se, although the majority of the team are against this idea. We find it a bit ironic that such exchanges added coins such as Spaincoin without any donated BTC as far as I know, but simply because they realised they would stand to gain from it. As stated in the OP - these exchanges would only stand to profit if they were to list us, they need no other incentive. Still, everyone here is free to do what they wish to promote Muniti after all.

Thanks, we'll see if anyone else expresses an interest. I think you're right, they might just add us if we get enough momentum going, which we are doing pretty steadily lately. Poloniex has to add us soon which will double our market.

@btcltcdigger It's named Muniti, not Muniticoin! The menu and title are both wrong. Awesome job on the explorer otherwise!

Hey, lead dev of Chunky Pools here. We've started a push to x11 coins recently, and we selected Muniti as our first big test x11 coin. We've been running for about 24 hours now and have found 4 blocks. Today, I hacked everything necessary to display the correct hash rate and share info on the front end, so now we're a fully functional Muniti pool.

Come give us a look if you're searching for a new pool. Accounts are shared between all coins, so if you've ever mined a coin with us before, just point your x11 miner with the same worker info to port 1133! VARDIFF on 3311!
