Thanks dev.

I've created the conf file and launched the wallet again. I still have the same error message and wallet doesn't sync: "Warning: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade." Have wallet version 0.8.6 and didn't see a new one available to dl.

I've named my conf file "Muniti.conf", checking through console, nodes are added... anything I've been doing wrong?

We are now looking into this issue, as we have tested it and syncing seems to be working perfectly on our end, and there were no other reports on this issue.

So far, 8 people have applied for the Distribution Team. We will be holding interviews starting from next week.

hopefully those employed will use part of the money to buy some muniti 😃

Once they will be termed in and knowledgeable about Muniti, I have no doubt they would want to buy some more apart from the ones they will be receiving in the maildrops themselves.

Ok, so I managed to sync the wallet by simply deleting all files and launching the wallet again with the previous wallet.dat file.

Just read the article and great to see that the persons involved have a very strong background and key positions in Malta (assuming I found the right persons on linkedin) - I've been mining for a week and will continue, all the development we are seeing is unheard of, there's been no coin with so much work done offline. Great job team!

Indeed, also for those who are lazy, you can change the login time of your mintpal to 24h (so you don't need to login each time you visint mintpal) and remember to vote.

To do it easily just go to voting and ctrl-f Muniti and vote 5 times. Smiley

remember to continue voting for muniti on mintpal. I have been doing free voting whenever i login for many days now.

Going to mintpal now is not realistic today with the trading volume/following we have - we're only in the top120 with 2500 votes vs 75000 votes for the first coin.

Best options are:
- Swisscex (11th currently): https://www.swisscex.com/voting
-Poloniex: https://poloniex.com/ sign-up and send them a message through their ticket system, select "feature request" (http://poloniex.freshdesk.com/support/home)

I would tend to choose poloniex as it is easier to get in and has more volume, making it the perfect choice. If we manage to send just 10 tickets, they will consider adding it, which is easily achievable.

Dev, would it be possible to add "vote for poloniex" prominently in the OP?

The volume on Swisscex is too low, we will not be wasting too much effort on an exchange which has decided to follow the so-called "donation" voting system. I have mentioned Poloniex several times and they informed me that they receive a good amount of tickets. We need to keep up the submission of tickets.

btcltcdigger has not responded regarding the coin explorer, and seeing that it is still not fully functional, we are looking for someone else who can provide a Block Explorer for Muniti. Please PM me here or contact us on muniticoin@gmail.com if you are interested. We wish to have a functional block explorer up and running ASAP for the sake of transparency, which we've always held as one of the foundation stones for Muniti.

There might be some short downtime. Try other pools and see if they work.
