How real?That football players required to bribe before they are allowed to play

I'm from the United States and as many of you know whom aren't from here, football (soccer as we call it) is really not all that popular.  It is as a kids game in grade school and high school, but on a professional level it's just not even close to our main pro sports.  What I'm wanting to ask, being someone who's not real well versed, why is FIFA allowed to remain in place as it has?  I mean everyone on the planet knows FIFA is as corrupt as it can possibly get...can't something be changed here??

There used to be dominance from some people or certain country. How does this happen, just with the share of money. Every event hosted by FIFA on investigation gets identified with the involvement of corruption. The latest being the Qatar hosting the world cup, where it is said that big money have been used to bribe the officials. This have been a long story that gets continued. Before Qatar there is investigation that Russia bribed the officials to host the 2018 Men's World Cup. Whether there is change in the persons or the policies, whatever there'll be corruption forever.

That's the sad reality of life, not only in sports but other industries as well.
Some people are getting their position owed to bribery, as there will be officials that are prone to corruption.
But if you are good enough, you will find your way to achieve what you want in life, just like Mbappe.
He proved that he has the skills but is now representing other country, which is willing to accept him even without the bribe.
It is like a slap in the face for those people that who didn't accept him because he had no money. That's a good revenge though.

Skill will always impose itself over corrupt structures and this is just one more example of this, if those at the top use their power to suppress the talented people under the command then those people once they understand there is no future for them on that structure will simply leave.

As unfortunate as it looks, it's how the system has been configured for many.

That's why people with skills feel better off going from place to place where skills are appreciated and can get paid well. This has happened in many countries with human resources, but the government or regulators seem to complicate their desire to be part of them, so they decide to leave and look elsewhere. And it turns out that their presence in other places can help them to get to the peak of their career quickly without hindrance because they have more reliable abilities so that their presence can change the position of the company that hired them. This is a slap in the face for the people who have rejected it because they can never get it again.

OP: Behind the players, there are usually managers who have seen their talent early on and "hire" them as prospects from a very early age, around these parts they are called scouts or in simple words headhunters, there are them in any sport, but mainly soccer, basketball, baseball, etc.

These scouts offer parents money to play for their teams with very limited contracts in the future, but in the short term the amount ($) offered for a player which is not known to become a professional, it is so tempting even if they are a few dollars that because of their social conditions they take them.

Then these same scouts depending on the player and his talent begin to "promote" him, paying coaches if necessary so that these guys are always playing.

Sometimes really the question is how much talent is left in the shadows because they're not lucky enough to have this promotion or a parent or scouts do the right thing.

I have seen that so many times down here in my country. That is why you see that the coach was after money thinking that without him Mbappe will not shine but he forgot that he is not God and can't stop the destiny of Mbappe. There are so many quality players in Africa that because of bribe,these players are not lucky to show case their talent to the world, and they are ravishing in poverty. The association should punish people who only want to profit from it. But that seems difficult because those people are so well organized that it's hard for the authorities to track them down. And it also seems that some authorities protect those who carry out this practice so that their activities are still running well. Yes, it's only done by individuals and officials, so it's normal when you see football in a country that is not developing advanced, of course there is something in the regulations that makes it difficult for talented players to join and play, maybe Mbappe and several others are just one of the published ones. There could be other players who may be players with potential too but find it difficult to enter the national team.

Usually in countries that are more advanced and free of corruption there will always be convenience for the requirements to enter the national team and even assisted in the naturalization process for moving countries so that it is not complicated, like this this will set an example for a great and more advanced national team, in my country since the replacement of the football board it has been much better.

I thought maybe some fake representative is trying to scam them but doesn't seem to be the case. I cannot find any article where officials from the Cameroon Football Federation denying the allegations so it's probably true.

Valid argument , as how sure they are that the one asks them to pay money is truly from the inside team or just someone who wanted to take advantage of the situation as he has a issue about citizenship things that somehow is what becomes the problem from the other side.

People would always look down on you when they feel you have nothing to offer, but then come running to you when they find you beneficial to them, and that's what happened in mbappe's case and it's so unfortunate that the Cameroonian Football Federation missed out on one of the greatest football player of our time, well maybe it's his fate to play for the France team and I don't think he would had gotten this far if he played for Cameroon.
 The rule of Football doesn't encourage bribe or permit people tip a coach to be featured in a match or accepted into a team but some individuals especially those in 3rd class countries collect bribes from players to feature them into their squad, I've also heard of stories where talented players are rejected by some scouts or coaches because they lack funds to bribe their way into the team which is not right.
 Due to this corrupt act by some officials in most 3rd class countries, many talented players had to relocate to other countries where they're tried fairly and merit a spot to play and showcase there talent just like the case of mbappe.

Of course it was Cameroon who lost Mbappe, because you can see how he influenced the result in the world cup final when France was in a stalemate. He was the first player to break the deadlock and managed to make the match have to go through on penalties even though in the end France lost, so you can see how strong the player's determination is.
If the story is true, it's not unusual because there are always official officials who prioritize money over sports development, because being a corrupt official will make them financially secure even though it will cause big losses for many people, and always poor countries are filled with officials with such a stupid mindset that it becomes difficult for the country to develop including sports because it loses the big opportunity to have a great player like Mbappe. Corruption isn't bound to countries and organizations, there is corruption in each and every country and each and every organization in the world, it is just that some are hidden and some are known by the public, those that come in front of the public are shamed and those who are hidden are never known. These kinds of incidents where people are asked for money for the roles that they are assigned or deserve to get happens almost every day.

Such people are barely known by the public because those who are asked for bribes never reveal these things to the public because they know the ones asking for money are in power and if they come to know about what they did, they might never allow them to get into the position ever.

Honestly, I have no Idea if he will miss his team and the country will miss him. It depends how you look at this whole situation. I can tell you that if I were asked by a country to lead their team as captain, I'd to it and move, even if i was a low level player in my own country. Him playing for France is an achievement, especially in financial aspect, because he'd never be able to earn comparable money playing for Cameroon.
Bribes are more popular in lower leagues and in poor countries. I think that it's great the he didn't go for it and chose to migrate.

Things in the world of football have put a lot of magnifying glass on it , since the things they did were discovered or came out, the corruption associated with the Blatter era that turned everything into a great revelation of things.

We as football fans know very well that things in football are still handled with some corruption, I think about VAR a lot more now that what they say cannot be made public , or what they say to the referee, we as humans make many mistakes, and those mistakes are easy to detect through technology, for this reason it is very delicate , I have faith and hope that possible cases of corruption can be fixed and dissuaded over time .
