Yeah this type of stories happen in third world countries and they lose valuable players who want to give all to the club or national team. The thread is bad. When you place money first in whatever you want to do then the best will elude you. This is appalling and the reason that third world countries struggle in football especially countries from Africa.

The whole football scene is like this and they always victimize young talents that just wanted to play a fair game of soccer but couldn't because either their current roster's marketability is great enough that even if they don't win that much they still could get brand deals and make money off the players, or they just win so many games that changing the roster is going to affect their chances at claiming titles.

It happens well, some players are not allowed to play in their country so they will decide to fly to other countries which they will try their luck. I don't have the sources now because I don't even remember where I read it anymore, but it is the same story you are commenting on.

It is difficult to prove something, and it is also difficult to measure how much it affects the fact that players prefer to play for European teams, as is the case of Mbapeé and France, and many other Africans who have nationalized themselves to play for European countries. Happens all the time I think. You see there are foreign athletes giving honor to countries where they reside because their own country didn't support them. Take for instance a pro boxer from Mexico yet fights for Cali. Or a Nigerian fighter fighting out of Denver.

Anthony Joshua the British heavyweight champion boxer was to represent Nigeria in the Olympics but the corrupt officials asked for some form of monetary inducement which refused to give. This is not rare at all and while it did not happen to me this happened to a friend of mine, he was really good at soccer back in our younger days and I really thought he had what it was needed to become a pro at some point, however when I asked him if he had any chance to go pro he told me he was asked for a huge sum of money in order to get the chance he needed, and since he did not had it then he never got a chance.

That is true. However, before I was aware about his sad reality african players face on their native countries, I had a wrong perception about them. I thought they were the faulty ones for not willing to play for their homeland and fighting to boost it to the next level inside soccer industry. I heard someone say that FIFA must draw up a law where it says that all players must play for the country where their parents are descendants, only so many African players would play for their African teams and be a power in world soccer and FIFA must also give 10 to 12 slots to the African continent for more African teams to qualify for the World Cup. This doesn't just happen in Cameroon, this happens in all of soccer for all I know. The whole football scene is like this and they always victimize young talents that just wanted to play a fair game of soccer but couldn't because either their current roster's marketability is great enough that even if they don't win that much they still could get brand deals and make money off the players, or they just win so many games that changing the roster is going to affect their chances at claiming titles.

There used to be dominance from some people or certain country. How does this happen, just with the share of money. Every event hosted by FIFA on investigation gets identified with the involvement of corruption. The latest being the Qatar hosting the world cup, where it is said that big money have been used to bribe the officials. This have been a long story that gets continued. I have another story, there are several local football academies in my country doing almost the same thing as happened in the case you said in this thread. one concrete example, in a football academy there will always be youth players who have talent with great potential to develop. but because they don't have the finances, or in other words don't give compensation money to coaches, managers or staff, the boy player won't be recommended to the first team if he doesn't have something to offer.

Well, there is a difference for the mediocre youth player. with the money his parents had, he was able to enter the main squad even though his talent was mediocre. that's why football in my country has been slow to develop. also, some other technical and non-technical problems.

Someone with talent in many things cannot get good appreciation from the state because most of them come from poor families, so when they are required to pay money when they want to enter training to develop their talents, they cannot do it because of limited funds. Without a doubt this happens in all sports, but with soccer being the most popular sport around the world then I would guess this is more common there.
