Dogecoin has surprised everyone and more especially those who called it a shitcoin some years ago. Elon's interest in it is what I do not understand, what is his reason for supporting dogecoin instead of bitcoin everyone is killing themselves for. Do you know or is it so that bitcoin lovers can get envious?
Nobody thought a "shitcoin" like Dogecoin would get so much attention back then. After Elon Musk's endorsement, DOGE is now on the spotlight. The crypto market is unpredictable to say the least. You'll never know when a coin will skyrocket like crazy. Dogecoin is the largest "meme" coin, and will continue to be for the foreseeable future. Why? Because it's the one coin that started this craze. Competitors like SHIBA, PEPE, WIF, and BONK wouldn't had existed if it wasn't because of Dogecoin's success. Now the market is flooded with countless of "meme" coins.
It's not that Bitcoin lovers are envious of Dogecoin. It's just that they're surprised to see so many people falling for worthless "meme" coins without a promising future. People prefer to invest into them just to make a quick buck. Projects like Bitcoin and Ethereum are often overlooked because of the lack of hype. Although, I admit there's a lot of hype going on for Bitcoin right now. The masses treating it as the next "digital Gold" (instead of "digital Cash"). But that's another subject. For now, let's just focus on Dogecoin. Who knows how far will it go?
