Let's keep in our mind that when it comes to gambling, the bigger bet comes to bigger risk, and you're right, It always better to refrain on placing bet once you've reached your target winning amount because having a self discipline in following your own limitations will leads you to success rather than failing. I think when gambling we should limit our expectations knowing no know can predict rightly, people who can't control their urge this is not about an addict or not, not all gamblers can control their urge, I see this as a result of high expectation from the game that's why people exceed their budget and wanting to bet for more.

Yes, it's true that this happens very often to all gamblers and almost all gamblers make the same mistakes. Caution usually doesn't need to be started, but caution has been instilled in everyone since childhood.
But they forget that when they mature and are in gambling or are gamblers, they know there is risk they know there is defeat that awaits, but they cannot apply caution that caution.

I always say it, gamblers should be totally responsible for whatever they face or experience while gambling, no one can absolve them of the fault as they are the ones in that act themselves. As an adult, I believe that we should be wise, we should know what we want and why we want it, and if eventually we are involved in it, we should know how to manage our ways to make a success from it, or at least not let it affects us in negative ways. We must know our limits to achieve this and this calls for us to have budgets and plans as well.
