Massive congratulations to Olympiacos, though I wasn't happy with their late minute goal during the die minute of extra time of 120 minutes, I wasn't also in support of fiorentina, but at that stage of the game, I would have just preferred they both played penalties and whatever comes out we all take it, that for me would have been more justifiable. I didn't see too much of extreme actions in the game as both teams were playing like equals. Congratulations Olympiacos, as this victory has shown that we still have the presence of Greece in European competitions.

I was even angry that the match entered extra 30 minutes because the match was boring, and at the same time I was happy to see a late goal in the last four minutes of 120 minutes to end the match because it was boring. Ayoub El Kaabi was able to take victory home to Greece tonight as he scored the only goal which gave Greece the first European trophy since history. El Kaabi made history tonight and he is also the highest goal scorer in the competition with 11 goals in 9 matches.

I don't know if anyone managed to watch this game from the beginning to the end, because in my case I didn't watch this game, whenever I watch the last Conference League game I feel like I'm watching a game without much importance and I get irritated, with the Today's game I decided that I wouldn't watch it and from what I see I made a better choice because the game ended in a goalless draw which showed that it was a game without emotion, it was a boring game, I keep asking myself why does the Conference League still exist? Since the winner of this competition does not win a place in the champions league, in my opinion it is a competition without much importance

It may only be the 3rd competition in Europe but it means a lot to a team like Olympiakos because finally they had just make a history by winning a trophy from a European competition for the first time and i have been watching this match and i have to says the match was boring as both teams played very cautiously because until normal time ended there was no good opportunities to scores from both teams but when entering extra time i have seen a bit change because Olympiakos was taking initiative to playing attacking and the result is El Kaabi can scored the only goal in this match

Normal time result 0-0 is really unexpected for the bettors and i am sure some people have lost their bets because most of us were bets on Fiorentina however Olympiakos journey is very fantastic because previously they are not the favourite because people are more likely to favourited Aston Villa or Fiorentina as the next champion of this competition but in fact Olympiakos even can beat these teams and became an the champion of this season but for Fiorentina they are unlucky because they can advances to the final match two times in a row but Fiorentina have failed to gets the trophy

Last season it was an English team that took the trophy to eliminate Fiorentina and they came as runner up, despite that Fiorentina didn't give up their dreams of becoming champion which make them try again and this time around they make it to the final and they were stopped by Greece teams which was a narrow win for Olympiakos, should i say its not yet time for Fiorentina to be UEFA Conference League champions, Fiorentina really fought hard to the extent of dominating the ball possession, big chances created, i know is not certain many things can happen, my favorite team to win was Fiorentina judging by their performance when playing.

You will notice that both teams performed almost equally, with Olympiacos advancing by only a small margin. Because these two teams have performed for a long time, the result of the game was even, but at 116 minutes, they succeeded in an attack. But the opposing team Fiorentina tried hard but the players in the attacking department could not do it hard, because their attacks were weak to say the least. The only way to score a goal is through a counter attack.

Congratulations to Olympiacos for winning the UEFA Europa Conference League competition yesterday after a hard fought battle against Italian club Fiorentina. We all can agree to the fact that yesterday's final was more fierce than the UEFA Europa League final between Atalanta and Bayern Munich that was played last week. Fiorentina wanted to win the game by all means but the resilience of Olympiacos couldn't give them the chance to win the game. It's been a very impressive season for Italian teams in Europe as they've earned more European slots for next season than any other league. If Fiorentina had won the game last night, we would've seen 9 Italian clubs play in the three European competitions come next season.
Olympiacos on the other hand made history by becoming the first Greek club to win an European trophy and they did at the home of AEK Athens who happens to be one of their biggest rivals

It was really worth it.    The regular time was very boring though. Extra time wasn't too different either but that winning goal came in a really unexpected moment. Once again El Kaabi was on the stage.    He really made a huge impact on Olympiacos' becoming the champions in the Conference League. 11 goals in 9 games is just great statistics you know.

Fiorentina must be really devastated after losing in the finale of this tournament two times in a row. Olympiacos were technically playing home as the game was in Athens and they took advantage of this in a really good way honestly.

If you look at the match statistics, the two teams seem to have not much different performances but if you see the match directly, it seems Fiorentina looks to have a better performance than Olympiacos during the 90 minutes match. It was clear that they were creating more intense opportunities, it's just that they were less fortunate with the finishing touch, as a result, they couldn't score a single goal. Olympiacos also didn't play badly in the 90 minutes of the match but, they really seemed to improve when the match went into extra time and all their efforts turned out to pay off in the 116th minute when El Kaabi managed to score the winning goal for Olympiacos.

I really expected this match to end in a penalty shootout, but a goal scored by El Kaabi in the 116th minute meant that Olympiakos could win the trophy without having to go through a penalty shootout. One goal scored by Olympiakos meant Fiorentina failed to win the Conference League trophy for two years in a row, last year Fiorentina also failed in the final after being defeated by West Ham. Fiorentina failed to follow in the footsteps of Atalanta who triumphed in European competition after suffering a very dramatic defeat.

Next season, Serie A will send more representatives to European competitions than the previous season, there are 8 Serie A teams that will compete in the UCL, EUL and ECL. Fiorentina will compete in the ECL again next season, they must improve the quality of the team to make up for failure in two consecutive seasons.
