Considering the inactivity for a certain period, did someone demand from jamyr to confirm the ownership of the account and to sign one of the previously used addresses?

Based on his staked Bitcoin wallet address dating back to 2021 in this [post] and his recent signature in post #90 in this thread, which matches his old address, I confirm that he is indeed the original owner of the account. His signature has been verified, as shown in the attached screenshot.

Royse you just proved to be a very good stock, that I regret to have not invested more during your presale period. Though I would like to warn you now, to not put too much good expectation from me. I'm still a degenerate, but I will do my best to keep my nose clean.

What Rose and all those respectable members with big hearts who forgave you did was because they didn't want to lose an active member like you in this community and to avoid a repeat of what happened by you again, and they also followed the trust sytem work. The fact that you returned the money, regretted what you did, and proved that you deserve this forgiveness is enough. Did you see light_warrior's post in this thread? He left us, but he left a good mark that we remember him by, even after his death. It would be best if you always strived to leave such a mark that will live longer than you.

I hope you have learned one of the lessons that you should never forget, but was AB de Royse777 the only one with whom you acted recklessly in the past?

I have removed my support and hope others may remove their support as well. And, I believe the ones who left tags should remove those tags as there's nothing wrong in giving someone a second chance to fix their behavior.

Let me start by saying that I don't exactly recall what the incident was about and I'm not going to go through the entire thread in detail, I remember a few vital points. I withdrew my flag support for the following reasons: first, I trust @AB de Royse777 judgement to forgive the user and secondly, because I believe in providing people a second chance to prove us otherwise. However, this doesn't mean that the user Jamyr is to be trusted in the future, trust takes ages to build and seconds to collapse.

To everyone who wanted to know more details (I will also use this post as the reference of a neutral feedback I am going to leave for jamyr).

jamyr failed to submit the job and retuning the money but that was long ago. Recently I found out that he helped me a lot in different things from long time but he never mentioned about his past and I was not aware too. He also never asked to give him any return of favor.

When I asked for his profile URL earlier today for some reasons, he gave me the URL and I discovered everything that happened in the past. He proved me a good person.

Good people deserve chances in their life. I would like to give him one that he deserves. Hope he will not do the same mistake in future.

Great to hear that you have changed your mind based on the help of the person. I have removed my support of the flag. I saw still much support is on the flag. I think it will be better if you or the accused person send a message to those who have not removed the support as many people not following this thread.

Does anybody have any idea about how the situation ended when jamyr took a loan from Darkstar_ a couple of years ago? Was it a loan default or were the funds fully returned after a long delay?

Unless I am mistaken, it was supposed to be a $40 loan for 40 days in August 2022 and he was supposed to return $50 including interest. I found a post with a partial payment made in December 2022 but not one for a full repayment.

As the loan situation was not connected to the forgiveness drama related to the OP, even if the funds were returned after a delay that alone should warrant a neutral tag at the very least (and a red tag if it was not repaid in full). Hopefully someone (maybe jamyr) can clarify what happened.

Jamyr defaulted a loan for over 14 months. He has Darkstar_ active loan to pay which has been since August 27th, 2022. I am not the type that will think he will pay this back, but I may be wrong. He can prove me wrong. Let us see.

Supported the flag and tagged him he is not really active here there's a gap in his posts and the review campaign is his opportunity to scam he once defaulted on a loan and paid it after 14 months but considering the trust given to him and the damages to Royse's client I don't think he deserves to be in any campaign anymore or take a loan even if he returned it now or later, it's in his character.

It's an exit scam for me, even if it's $50 or lower if the account is useless and he cannot get into a campaign that pays Bitcoin because he cannot keep up the competition among members who are vying to get into the campaign, he's just waiting for something like this to scam, he has a bad reputation of defaulting a loan and paying it several months later I don't think he can get all these feedback even if he comes back to pay the loan unless he has a strong reason or alibi.

I hope this will be the last strike from the user, last time it was a loan default. While it's easy to delete opinion on flags, negative tag will always depends on the giver and their principles.

Completely ignoring a member is not always the best solution, but in that case, you should also avoid any comments in his discussion. You cannot give a rational judgment if you have not heard all the facts neutrally. I only put annoying spammers on ignore until I do it with those whose opinions or behaviour I don't like.

Darkstar_ comes once a year, marks repaid loans and then leaves the forum again. The last time it was active was 24 May 2024, 05:46:00, so if the loan is still active, then it hasn't been paid off by jamyr.

Since you are the flag creator and asking to withdraw the support and remove the feedback, I have withdrawn my support. I agree with your statement that good people deserve chances in their life. But the matter involved money. When someone takes money in advance to do something, they should be responsible for completing the work for which they were paid. You probably forgive him because he helped you somehow, but imagine if anyone else would do that. The guy should start changing and use the chance you gave. He should prove himself by paying the loan he took from Darkstar_.

You are right, of course it is not always the best solution to always ignore a member (even if I use the show/hide link to read messages when the need arises). If you ignore members you have to have good reason but sometimes we can all get it wrong.

Having said that, I only posted in this thread because the OP added @myname to bring this thread to my attention as well as the other names and I only caught up with it by chance today.

As for the pertinent point raised about the resolution between jamyr and the OP not negating issues surrounding the loan, hopefully jamyr or another member will clarify what happened any associated tag members might consider giving for that would be disassociated from their resolution.

AB de Royse777 created a flag against jamyr and on the charges that he violated the terms of the review campaign of [CFNP] Mixin Safe - Decentralized Bitcoin Custody Solutions | Review Campaign and your negative tag which was your charge against him was based on the violation of the review and was Darkstar_ loan. In the court of law, Prior bad acts and other crime evidence (propensity evidence) is not used to against the defendant when the crime was not mention in the case by the accuser in the case file.

Flag was created because jamyr didn't made the review and he has already collected the 0.003 BTC  from the manager and now the same manager said jamyr has paid back the money and he said that jamyr is a good guy therefore he has removed the flag and asked others who tagged jamyr base on that course to remove theirs and I like what they said.

This is how it should be. When a creator of the flag request others to remove because they have settled their differences underground then we have to follow and if the defendant plead guilty and repent from his sin, second chance should be given. Though every lawyer and judge has their opinion in a case but general precedence over rule.

I fall in to the category of neither supporting nor opposing the flag in the first place therefore those that do remove their support can make their own decision.

Ultimately though, if the one that created the flag and requested support later decided that he wanted to withdraw the flag because of a settlement or agreement (related to being made whole again or other terms agreed), then support should be removed but individuals will make their own decision and maybe still leave an appropriate tag.

Well, if he received a full reprieve from those supporting the flag it will be something but he has been asked to elaborate on what happened regarding his loan from Darkstar_ in 2022 because it is not yet understood what happened. Maybe he will elaborate.

I removed the flag out of the request of the creator, Royse, A tag is good but even without it, we have this thread as evidence for what he has done, This is the first time I will be removing a flag based on a request, and I hope those who scam members of Bitcointalk will comeback and resolve their issues.

I think if you want to start afresh on a clean slate then it's better to be transparent about anything that may seem sensitive to your trust or else it may end up catching with you soon. Yes,  AB de Royse777 as an individual may have decided to forego what happened, but this is what people are going to base on when dealing with you in the near future. So, there needs to be some sort of assurance that you are now a complete different person who will not disappoint anyone during a trade deal.

I saw the thread, but honestly didn't know its purpose.
I want to give him a second chance, since the person who accused him already forgave him. I don't want to be that pain in the a##, but it would really be great if he says something about the loan. To set the records straight.
