India sealed a huge 10-wicket victory against Nepal in a rain-interrupted match under the rain. It rained a few times in the first innings, as well as a few times in the second innings and at times it looked like the India vs Nepal match might be abandoned due to rain just like the Pakistan match but eventually the rain controlled India and allowed them to bat twenty overs in the second innings where they were able to score 147 for no wickets. If subsequently, the remainder of the match cannot be played due to rain, India is declared the winner of the match under the rain rule.

In Group A, Pakistan and India have already qualified for the next round, but in Group B, no team has officially qualified for the next round, but Bangladesh will definitely play the next round, now the battle will be between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.

The Indian team actually treating the Asia Cup as a warm up event. There is nothing wrong with this thought process when you want to test your WC squad.

But at the same time, when you are a commentator you don't say this out loud in public as it's disrespectful to other teams. As far as Sanju Manju goes, he's an excellent presenter when he talks about technical stuff like batting technique, etc and probably one of the best minds in the current generation (for technical stuff) but whenever he starts talking about anything else he becomes shit, cheerleader or worst version of himself. Nowadays 90% of commentators are like this.

They are up against quality opposition (talking about Pakistan and Sri Lanka). Even Nepal gave them a scare yesterday. Given this, I am not sure whether the Indian team can consider this tournament as a warmup series. I know that their main target is the ODI World Cup, which is going to start later this year. But first, they need to make sure that their performance in the Asia Cup is satisfactory. Last time they didn't even managed to enter the finals (contested between Pakistan and Sri Lanka). And this time also, looking at the matches that have been completed so far, once again Pakistan and Sri Lanka looks like the favorites to lift the trophy.

Both points of view can be true at the same point and I personally don't see any wrong in it because all eyes are on ODI WC.

I agree that this Indian side which might also play in the World Cup is not performing as expected. Just look at yesterday's match Nepali tail enders made a joke of Indian pacers. Kami scored 48 runs in just 56 balls, every short played by him was actually in the gap. Rohit Sharma was agressive yesterday why was he not able to play in the same manner against Pakistan. If it wasn't Jadeja then Nepal would have gone beyond 250 runs. At the moment the Indian side looks confused and unsettled. Not a good sign if they will be playing in the Wold Cup.

It's true and being consistent is an incredible habit but you have to remember that 3 main players of current squad just came back from injuries and sometimes failure before WC can be a blessing in disguise. Peaking at the right time matters most IMO. Australia, England and New Zealand do this regularly so for a change i won't mind if India as a team starts peaking during WC.

Nowadays in limited overs cricket, home-away conditions hardly matter.

Afghanistan chased down the target of 292 in 37.1 overs and last ball they needed 3 runs but Mujeeb was out Now they hit a six in 37.4 overs to 295 runs for quality but unfortunately bowled out the team 289 runs. I think Afghanistan did not know if he hit a six in the next 3 balls he would qualify for the Super Four. Rashid Khan played 27 runs unbeaten If Afghanistan player Mujeeb had not played badly short and given a strike to Rashid Khan then there would have been a good chance to win this match and qualify for Super Four.

I am predicting that Pakistan will be win tomorrow match after tough match.

Now the super stage is going to start and the first game will be played in Lahore tomorrow between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Pakistan has tough class bowling and batting also improved and Bangladesh also got big victory against Afghanistan and still in good form. I am predicting that Pakistan will be win tomorrow match after tough match.

Pakistan is the favourite. Pakistan's fast bowling attack is one of the best in the world. If Bangladesh openers see off the first power play, they can post a good total on the board. And Babar and Imam are key wickets if they want to restrict Pakistan to a low total.
