Is the current situation similar to scenes like the films you have watched? If true, you will definitely know the ending. However, it is true, the market is very volatile, especially if BTC goes down and this is very clearly visible in altcoins whose fundamentals are minimal.
I don't understand the parable you are saying, because what I see now is that the market conditions for Bitcoin prices look like ocean waves with ups and downs every day. I mean everyone can see the action of very modest increases and decreases in the price of Bitcoin, but I would still really like to see Bitcoin back to $30K before the month is out.

What happens in the film is something that has happened in real life, it is no longer a secret that a lot of manipulation is carried out by groups of people for personal gain and those who do it are people who have strong power.
However, the ending is not always the same, some succeed and some fail.
Market manipulation is a common thing and we often see it, and many people fail because of this manipulation if the person doing it does not have strong enough power.
A film is a story scenario which, before it is shown, has been prepared deliberately from beginning to end and I think this will have nothing in common with the manipulation that occurs in the market because any market condition is always tied to turmoil and events that can affect the economy. So that unexpected or unexpected changes can continue to occur due to causes that we are not aware of.

So that unexpected or unexpected changes can continue to occur due to causes that we are not aware of.
I think market manipulation is common knowledge. But market manipulation is actually more common in stock and crypto trading. Where the price is inflated gradually and attracts victims to join the rising wave. And when people start to hype and more and more people enter the market and make prices rise without any definite reason or without any fundamental news. And we should avoid trades that have such characteristics. Because the price is prone to being dropped quickly.

Meanwhile, in traditional markets, such as food prices, market manipulation is actually more difficult. Because it requires greater capital, such as to stock a food product in large quantities, this reduces market supply and makes market stock insufficient to meet all customer demand in the market. And that's when prices will balloon high. And when the price is high enough, people even start to think about stocking up on materials because they are afraid that the price will rise even higher. And that's when the manipulator will take advantage by selling products that he has stocked in large quantities. But this will be done in certain stages. But in traditional markets there is rarely a rapid price decline like in the stock and crypto markets. So market manipulation sometimes goes unnoticed and prices will fall slowly and appear to be normal.

In a movie scene, I once saw a scene that included how whales manipulate the stock market. They also pay the media to make articles about the stocks they manipulate and as a result these stocks can really attract a lot of investment from people who are tempted by the content. from the media they pay for and this is also not much different from in the real world, there are many manipulations created on commodities, stock markets and also currencies, so investors usually always read the latest news about economics and politics which can affect the assets which they invest in.

Is the current situation similar to scenes like the films you have watched? If true, you will definitely know the ending. However, it is true, the market is very volatile, especially if BTC goes down and this is very clearly visible in altcoins whose fundamentals are minimal.

Market manipulation is a common thing and we often see it, and many people fail because of this manipulation if the person doing it does not have strong enough power.
About 20 years ago, when automated trading was poorly developed, even inexperienced traders were allowed to trade with big money. Even they could move small-cap stocks. I think in those wild times there was a lot of chaos going on in the markets. Some of them didn't even realize much, although the small traders thought that it was someone very influential who was making big candles down and up.

When they talk about market manipulation, I immediately remember how in 1992 George Soros decided to play on the fall of the pound sterling, collapsing the British currency to its historical low. In one day he managed to earn $1 billion. That's who really manipulated the market. People of this order try not to make their personalities widely known. Therefore, there are many such stories, but we do not know their names, and perhaps we will never know.

Advertising and marketing is not market manipulation, it is a strategy to attract more potential consumers thereby expanding the reach of the target market. Maybe in practice there are several marketing techniques to manipulate people's minds to encourage them to buy the product. But still it doesn't have a direct influence on statistics, it's just a possibility.
I agree that advertisement isn't a kind of market manipulation. There is nothing wrong with advertisement, it is a common way to invite more people joining/using a product/service. If people think an advertisement is convincing enough, they will follow it. While if the advertisement seems not interesting, people probably ignore it. So, it doesn't automatically increases the number of customers/demands, it depends on how effective and how the quality of the content of an advertisement.

It is different with market manipulation, it is the action that make an automatically raise/drop of the demand. For example when the whales manipulated the market, the price of a coin can free fall because whales are spreading FUDs through social media. Or the whales are trying to dump the price of a certain coin by selling a big number of the coin.

So, the way of an advertising (advertisement) and market manipulation are quite different.

Equating advertisement with market manipulation is a misunderstanding of market operations. Advertising is about getting in touch with people, giving them information, and maybe even convincing them. Do you always buy what you see in ads? No! People can make choices. They think about it, figure it out, and then make a choice

Market manipulation, especially in crypto with the so-called "whales", is an entirely different beast. Setting up the game is what it's all about, not informing or convincing. It's not persuasion when prices drop because a whale chose to spread false rumors or sell a lot of a coin. It's economic treachery

If you think that advertising and market influence are the same thing, you need to learn the big differences between them. To get through the complicated modern economy and fight for fair, open market practices, we need a good understanding of it

Most of the time advertisement can't be consider as market manipulation since I agree with you that people has choices and advertisement goal is to convince people to buy or use their products. But there are times that it can be a little bit manipulative like showing an advertisement that shows defamation to another obvious product company. It's illegal but advertisers can pass through it by doing indirect defamation to another company like branding as X and comparing. This is widely done before and the manipulation happen when people starts to avoid this Brand X that is showed to the advertisement.

The contents of the advertisement maybe fact but it's an evil thing to do when advertising. I've seen it done back then, rumors can start about that certain brand which positively affects the one who put up the advertisement given that they are the one who are on the good side of that advertisement.
