Over the past few years there has been a lot of discontent over the rise in food prices and in recent months low and middle income people are struggling to cope with the increase in the price of daily essential food products. Prices of rice and pulses are high and food inflation has increased due to increase in fuel and fertilizer prices as well as increased supply of several commodities in the global market. Climate change has also had a significant impact resulting in extreme droughts and unprecedented floods in Europe in recent months. Inflation will pick up again by the end of this year and may be around 5 percent in december and the price of processed food can reach the highest level.

I cannot believe that such a thing can actually happen. It seems like it was just possible in the movies or stories we tell our kids about bandits who collects ransoms and kidnaps farmers for money, however it really is happening in real life and is affecting our source of food as it obviously causes fear for farmers, so much so that they are willing to give their source of living.

Here in our country, products are very expensive,  what used to be a kilo of chicken here was 3 dollars per kilo before, now it is 3.7 dollars in the market or grocery, and the price of vegetables has also increased. All consumers are price-sensitive. As time passes, the price of goods always goes up and never goes down. So it will be very difficult to survive if we don't find a way to find another way to earn money. There can't be only one source of income,  instead, we should have at least three sources of income so that we can somehow survive.

This condition of increasing prices of goods has also led to an increase in transportation costs in all aspects so that it is time for daily workers or laborers to ask their bosses for a salary increase. Because without an increase in salary for the work they do, it will be quite difficult for them to face the increase in prices of goods in life and besides that looking for another job is also not so easy now so everyone has to focus more on the amount of income from their main job even though looking for additional work too be the best option in current conditions.

The same in my country, the poorest of the poor and as well as the middle class are having hard time dealing with the food prices now. At least for the middle class family, they're much better in state than of the poorest of the poor and a bit higher than of those.
Well, like your country, our country is a rice eating country and that's our staple food. But the problem lies with our food security so, the prices have gone higher and there's no solution yet that's being done but yet proposed and taken action like importing more rice and other food necessities. But I don't think that will eradicate the problem as there are a lot of hoarders and cartels that have been stocking rice. And the same with the salary of an average person coming from below minimum up to average, it's truly hard to budget that but we're great on this one which is a sad thing if we'll try to understand the situation.

Such a situation prevails in most countries of the world. Food, gas, electricity are increasing at such a rate that they are now beyond the reach of people. The government is working hard to overcome these crises but the market is booming as the production rate is low and the consumer volume is high. Day by day the population is increasing in every country because the birth rate is higher than the death  rate.  And because of this, the land is slowly decreasing to provide housing for everyone, due to which the production is decreasing.  And the price of food products is constantly increasing

With the way price of food has increased, people has forgone many alternative but I hope government can as well increased minimum wages, my country needs it because the wages and salary they pay is way below what can satisfy ordinary man.

Still, people associate quality to price as you often don’t find the best quality cheap and this have driven the price of certain products to an insane price. It’s a sad reality but, we often play by these rules eventually.

It's true that normally cheap products are of worse quality too, but it's not always like that. Especially during harvest seasons you can buy a very good quality food for a cheap price. You just have to be careful when buying food. No need to eat food of a bad quality because you are poor. It is really lucky if you have a backyard or an open area where you can make it a garden and plant foods in there because it can save you money, you can use it, it is fresh, and for sure it is safe as it is all organic and no pesticide was sprayed on it.

Food prices are rising due to the effects of many uncertainties, and it is happening all over the world. But there are different levels of impact because each country's income is not the same. I think raising wages is not easy because it means the Government has to print more money while imports and exports remain unchanged, which causes inflation to get out of control. I think the government has a reason not to raise wages suddenly and only because of rising prices.

Food prices will increase inline with oil pretty much, that would be one of the easiest ways to tell inflation in pricing is likely to continue.  Also fertilizer is another price to follow for cost of production but as I understand it food prices are rising because cost to produce is rising.  Generally the world is demanding more refined foods and a greater amount of meat means more demand for food to feed live stock, enough factors for prices to rise over a decade and thats what I expect.

We are in the same situation as your country. Our country is a seasonal country, there are different types of crops in this country. However, due to excessive drought this year, crop production has not been good. Food prices have increased tremendously in the present time. Where I live a day laborer can earn $5 a day. 1 kg of onion is about $0.80, 2 kg of rice is about $2, 1 kg of fish is about $1.5, vegetables etc. are about $2. Even if a day laborer earns $5, it is very difficult to buy a day's worth of food with that money. Most of the middle class families live in our country. In the present time in our country the rising cost of goods has made it difficult for the middle class poor families to live.

If the price is already expensive outside of fast food, then the product inside fast food chains is even more expensive. Because the ingredients they buy outside or at the grocery store are already expensive. That's why now I don't eat much fast food because I know that the price has increased.

Even if we say that we are ready to adjust to the price increases, we will still have difficulties, and it will really hurt our pockets. It is still difficult to budget if our daily or weekly income is correct. this. So the only real solution in these situations is to find or add another source of income so that we can still have extra money somehow.

Although the inflation rate has increased abnormally in some countries recently, we observe that there is an increase in prices in all countries of the world especially in food products. If I need to comment on the region I live in although the inflation rate announced here is shown as low but there are serious price increases in many food products. This increase in food prices has certainly hit the middle and lower classes, especially those with low salaries, and this has made us all aware to be careful in spending money. It's very true as you said, just one income is not enough, we have to look for additional income, we have to be able to make money from other businesses, not just from salaries as employees.

Maybe one of them is that we can earn extra money by investing, if we have mastered it. That's where maybe we can be helped by starting to instill minimalist living. So you no longer buy things you don't need, and the funds you usually use for shopping don't need to be allocated to additional funds for daily needs. In conditions like these, we have to be smart and have to become more skilled in managing finances, especially we have to learn about investing.
