You're right that they're at diferent levels, but with what Leverkusen can do at the moment I think they have a very good chance, even though they're still above Leverkusen at the moment.
I personally usualy forget their stats in the past, when they can perform well this season then that's what I can see. But maybe what will make the diference is in terms of mentality, when a club has a lot of experience of course in terms of mentality they will be better, this applies to any club, not just for the two clubs we are talking about.

I think the same as you. There is a possibility that Liverpool will prioritize pursuing the Premier League title rather than the European league. I agree with you that it will be exciting to see Leverkusen and Liverpool play each other later in the league. I've been following Leverkusen, and their defense is great this season. Despite not having outstanding strikers, their defensive plan has been successful. This excellent defense has kept them unblemished in the group stage, a feat not easily achieved.

Liverpool might have made a perfect run during the group stage, but klopp was destroying it with all of his experiment to the club. I meant we can also remember when liverpool loses against toulouse. Liverpool used the garbage squad to beat tolouse. It means that if liverpool has a chance to go to the final but it must be passing the knock out stage first.
