Yes, it might be more difficult to defend the title next season. This is one of the toughest challenges for football managers to make the club maintain its title or improve it. Because next season, they still have to start from scratch and fight again with a composition and situation that may be different. But at least, I'm sure that while Xabi is still at Leverkusen, Leverkusen's condition will not be like Napoli when Spaletti left.
