This makes sense, there are lots of gamblers that don't have the time to rank up, but who would be affected by this kind of advertisement and check the shuffle out. They might become fans just for knowing that they might enjoy this kind of benefits in the future.

Also as a someone who is not a vip host i would appreciate such an opportunity. But as they wouldn't want to angry their vip hosts, there should be both kinds of games, so vip hosts could enjoy their exclusive club benefits more.

Maybe they have a certain reason for deciding that the tournament is only for Jade+, Or used to motivate members to raise their VIP level to jade. But to be honest, this is not an easy thing, and I am one of the members who likes to enjoy the game rather than just chasing the VIP level.

Of course, I also agree and hopefully shuffle management can consider launching poker tournaments for lower levels (wood+) and I'm sure there will be more gamblers at this level. Good idea, it will be great if they will do your suggestion, at least it may make all VIP players able to join the poker tournament without waiting to be Jade first.
If they cant do it for free, maybe they can make it with cheap buy in like few dollars in order to join the poker tournament to win the free tickets for the VIP tournament.
Hope they will consider it, or maybe they can do it with other tournament on the site such as who have hit specific multiplier in any game on the site will get free tickets for the Jade+ tournament.

I don't think they are supposed to be "worth" the spending, but a nominal bonus. I am not even sure how much it would should be that would make it worth for only.

Excellent ideas! Although organizing poker events could be more work, even if just monthly, it sill would be pretty cheap and effective advertising.
It would be even more relevant and effective if they had plans to offer player vs player poker tournaments inside the casino, but we can't have everything.

Yes, chasing an increase in VIP level to get a bonus is not something that needs to be done because of the large risks involved. However, the VIP level bonus can be additional capital when we are less fortunate. It's better to enjoy the game and make a profit, but if you're close to leveling up, there's no harm in pursuing it.

I like this idea. Theres a maximum of 300 players per tournament for the poker client we use, so it'd be raffle style entry.

For the raffle idea, if there's a "celebrity-whale" from the Shuffle community, invite him/her to play in those smaller tournaments, if somebody eliminates him/her from the tournament, then the user who got him/her eliminated would win a seat for the bigger tournaments.
