Exactly, that's why I said previously specifically for active gamblers who are actively gambling at Shuffle and not to force themselves to wager just for the SHFL airdrop.
In other words, simply playing as usual and keep on our own style + limit and take the SHFL airdrop as an additional bonus when the time comes.
Talking about risk, it does exist on both by playing and by purchasing it directly but of course the risk level is different.

Looking how much volume has rised after the first airdrop, i am starting to think that gambling (even with high volume) isn't most efficient way to participate to airdrop #2 anymore. I am slowly buying, as i am more and more afraid that there might be a fomo when they release numbers on how much $shfl you need to stake to be part of the raffles / lotteries. And that Release of airdrop #2 might be priced in already if everyone already thinks that sell pressure of it might drop the price.

That's definitely because the price of SHFL has fallen so low that it would be more efficient for your capital to buy the token than risk some of your capital in gambling for the token.

That's especially true for people who are not actually very good gamblers. Although, it's probably good for those people like me who merely plays Craps for fun and entertainment.

I have to agree that buying it is better if we are not actually gamblers, forcing ourselves to wager in order to get a share for the 2nd airdrop is not worth if we are not active gamblers.

Damn. Always sucks to lose money while gambling and I know the feeling. I remember losing 100 dollars worth of bets on odds of 1.02 to 1.03 sometime back which absolutely shocked me.

May i ask you what have you been gambling with? And what kind of bets? Not that it would really matter, but i am interested how fast you lost that.
Obviously it's always discouraging to have a losing streak a lot, and it's your choice, but i don't think that's the main reason for people to choose their casinos. Especially if everything else works.

Think it trough, casino doesn't affect anyone's luck. and i am not sure why would you worry other gamblers not making deposits. That sounds like you are implying that others are losing as well and this is somehow a shuffle's issue. People can choose different casinos and different games if they feel like that's the key affecting the outcome, and it's understandable. No one wants to lose, and it's fun to think you have control over it, by making a different choice.

Yes it is correct that you have to wager to unlock your airdrop as the screenshot you attached above.
Lets say you received 500 SHFL, you'd have to wager 500*$50 to unlock all the SHFL you got.



Above is mine, I did not receive so many SHFL in the 1st airdrop (few hundreds only) so I can unlock it easily by playing in house games with low odds .
Not really sure if the same thing will be applied to the 2nd airdrop or not but I guess it will be the same.

Everyone will get disappointed if they encounter those heavy losing streak since that is truly painful especially if you lost all your capital deposit in their casino. Sometimes it made me think that if its good to continue but somehow I just rest then comeback again when I feel that I like to gamble. So far Shuffle is really a good casino but maybe you are just in heavy bad luck at that moment.

For me if I see that I'm starting to encounter those heavy lose streaks I immediately decide to quit since I don't want to experience getting those heavy losses especially that it will just give us heavy stress that's why I always make sure that I manage everything especially on the funds I spent.

Sorry to hear that, as we all know that it may happen to anyone at any casino, I can feel it as I've experienced similar thing in some other casinos.

Thanks, i totally missed this update. I feel weird as i feel like i have read parts of it, but maybe it's just heavily updated page.

Reading all that and i still think it's worth buying rather than waiting for airdrop, so i am combining buying and waiting for the airdrop.
