What do you mean by safe? Safe from getting the funds lost? Or safe from leaking your information that you provided to the casino while doing KYC? I haven't heard any casino that are doing face scan before withdrawing. I think it's a bit over acting to have that kind of security for a casino account. For years of my gambling experience, I haven't experienced getting hacked or what not. It is mandatory to maintain the security of online accounts from any potential damage, including binding them with 2FA. I don't know for sure if all popular, reputable casinos have such an account security feature, but 2FA shouldn't be the only way to secure your online accounts.

I would add one more important thing, which is that you should not gamble with money for which you do not have a valid proof of origin - because I recently read a case where a user won almost $4 million with a deposit of $100k, and now the casino refuses to pay him win because he still hasn't been able to show them where the money he gambled with came from.

That brings us back to the limitation with centralized casinos,  taking us away from the decentralized freedom that cryptocurrency bring,  for instance, if I have a verified KYC casino account and bought Bitcoin through p2p and make deposits of that amount into my casino account,  how then do the casino expect me to provide proof of earning for such deposited Bitcoin.

I think the 2FA is really very important to us gamblers, specially with the recent spike of hackings and attempted hackings.
As for the ToS, it's not used to be a best practice, but it seems that when online casinos grow big, there are like fly by night casinos, so we really don't know, maybe there's some hidden terms specially the withdrawal.
I do agree, I think if we become old and mature, most of the time, you will just play to have and some fun with your friends and other family members specially if you go in a landbased casinos. Many people buy accounts because they have high VIP levels and those high ranked accounts receive a lot of bonuses. This is pretty much the main reason why someone would buy and use someone else's account.
Although it's profitable, I don't recommend anyone to do it. It's too risky and against most casino's terms. Accounts are supposed to be personal and shouldn't be traded. There is a high risk the casino will ban the account if they find out it changed hands. Better create your own account and build it from scratch.

Even if there are casino which are reputable, deal with FIAT and do not have a thread here. It is difficult for me to think about the possibly of those services not considering to accept Bitcoin and other cryptos, to make their gamblers life easier.
Here in my country, the use of Stablecoins and Bitcoin has become so widespread that people would prefer to use those decentralized tools instead their bank accounts.
