Well if you think trading in Bitcoin more suitable for you based on your hypothesis, then you should stick to it cause if we were gonna compare gambling and trading, which both has involved risk. Of course if you have the knowledge in trading you could lessen that risk by studying and attaining some knowledge. That 100$ could get 1000$ if you are consisted into trading, cause in gambling we might say that if you are skilled and experienced you could also increase the chances of winning, but personally I think that gambling is really based on luck, whatever call you decided even if you think it twice it unlike in trading, where having a right call would get you profits.

Actually I didn't get your question properly. Did you ask about something like that what should you choose  between   gambling or Bitcoin ?
If the question is actually like this,  then I will say  there is something wrong on your question. Because trading and gambling are not the same thing.
 But trading can be also a kind of gambling when one person  jump into trading without any knowledge,  like as fundamental knowledge,  technical knowledge. And gambling should never be a source of  earning,  it should be used for only entertainment purpose,  otherwise it can take you to the street. I can not agree more with you, because, BTC trading is totally based on analysis and it is not that by doing the analysis you are going to make 100% profit. I wonder how people still comparing gambling with btc. Both are totally different. Trading is 99% luck base where wining chances is very low, only tricky players know how to win while btc trading is totally different where you have to use proper analysis tool, use some good strategy and practice of patience. You better spend it on something fun because investing 100 dollars in bitcoin and taking a profit of 110 dollars! It's not logical to book profit at 10% by taking huge risks. Gambling is fun and can be addictive, but it requires luck and a bit of trickery. But if you are good at it, you can make more money by investing in bitcoin. Both are risky, but I will prefer bitcoin over gambling because I don't need to rely on luck to get my money back. I know it will be back eventually if I can manage to hold on for a few years.

I believe that you are already old enough to see what is working for you and what is not. In your case, it was pretty clear that gambling never gives you good results but instead losses while trading seems to play well. You know what suits you and trading seems to be chosen and cutting your gambling addiction for this won't give you a better life but disaster.

I think I understand what you’re saying now. Bitcoin trading is not the same as gambling, trading is a skill that’s developed with time and expertise. Any dummy can try his luck gambling and still make some winnings if Lady Luck smiles on him. Gambling is a risky venture and should not be considered as a means of livelihood. The odds are not in favour when you gamble in most casinos, the game is programmed to ensure the house always wins. But in bitcoin, you hold all the cards and can regulate your trading plan.

First of all, this will be more suitable in a Gambling section not in Bitcoin Discussion. And I think you need to understand that gambling is an entertainment, after all it's designed for you to spend money on it, not to earn more money, what you get is a satisfaction of winning, but in general you will lose money more than you earn.

Actually gambling happens in everyones life, I used to gamble much, I used to lose money because of gambling (even though I won several pretty good bets, the overall balance is most probably around zero). As for BTC and gambling, the same features of gambling are present in cryptogambling market. Moreover, cryptotrading can be considered gambling as well, since its a rare luck to get short-term profit out of a crypto deal, especially if the amount of money in possession is not so large. So, in general, long-term hodling is the best investment strategy in cryptomarket... Actually, I'd rather not call it investment, it's more like just buying a valuable asset.

I would say that gambling also benefits Bitcoin because it attracted big gamblers to gamble with Bitcoin without knowing their identity. So it feels like it's way too good than to use physical gambling. However, gambling is not a guarantee to earn money especially if you're new. You know that gambling is different from trading. OP, congrats on making $10 profit on your first trade. OP you said you don't know how to gamble, you shouldn't be gambling. Although gambling depends on luck, you will also stay away from gambling. As you said you gained $10, you lost $11 by gambling. At the end of the day, you lost $1. If you have enough knowledge and good talent to trade then keep trading. Since you have been able to make a profit trading bitcoins, I think it is not a good sign for you to ever gamble. If you lose your halves by gambling then of course you can never get them back, then it would be better for you to quit gambling. Actually there is nothing wrong with what you are doing, because you are capable and able to make money with $100 in capital through Bitcoin trading, which means Bitcoin can be your next concern and for your own future. Now, regarding gambling which may have become an addiction for you, actually the rather ridiculous thing is that the addiction is not about you playing and not winning or losing by spending $11.

OP, you can constantly gain new experiences from coins and learn new content. It's great that you've had a positive experience with Bitcoin trading and a negative one with gambling. People who don't want to get involved in gambling can get profit by trading bitcoin but should get more in depth knowledge about bitcoin trading then trading. From my view both are the same due to the high risk involved, the only difference here is the learning process. Based on the fact that bitcoin trading and gambling are two different things, you can't compare them. One reason is that, without knowledge, there is no way that you can just be a successful trader in bitcoin.
