Gambling is nothing close to bitcoin trading the two worlds are absolutely of different dimension and can't be compared when it come to what anyone stands to gain in delving into both. If not for anything par-say Trading is a skill but gambling is never regarded as a skill even though they both involve risk taking.

I really agree with you that with gambling or trading both have the risk of losing, we rely on the predictions we make and hope that luck will be on our side so we can win.
