See by then I figured I'd have a future that's set for me, money so I don't have to worry about retirement til I die, and possibly a family that I am proud of supporting me emotionally. But here's the thing if he can afford it I don't think there's anything wrong with that.But I think that most of the time when we get old, various physical infirmities come and in most cases, gambling funds cannot be afforded as before.  I have also seen among my own relatives that they had to sell their land for physical gambling even at the age of 75 years. So I also think that it will be better avoid gambling in the older age

Well, thank you for your advice, but at a certain age, there are some things that are to be engaged with extreme care, or perhaps avoided them. Of course, gambling is entertaining, that's what I play it mostly for, but can most people say the same thing? What if these people now gamble till they are old and keep losing? As we get older, there are things we leave for the world, this is particularly for those people who have various health challenges that could be aggravated by their mental state. If anyone would continue to gamble at the old stage, they should be super responsible about it as you said but if possible they should abstain when they know their mind state is too weak for it.

On my end, maybe I will gamble when the occasion calls for, or if I want to have some fun.
But I guess, I won't take this activity as part of my daily routine. Just on occasional basis.
Because let us accept the fact that as when you are in the last phase of your life, you have nothing much to do.

I am not guaranteed that I will gambling till my old age. I do  limited gambling because I am not interest addicted into gamble. Addiction in gamble is bad habit that's why I gamble in limitation. I seen some person who gamble over that cause gamble addiction and this is harmful for a person financial condition because if a person face is loss then over gambling addiction forces to recover this money who lost.
