yeah I would also argue this and opportunity to make a living as more of what helps a county do well. Many parts of the world if you are born into a poor family you will not become middle class no less rich. So some opportunity to  earn more than your parents is a big deal.  Some places there is no way you will be allowed to more upwards out of poverty.
