being rich simply means we are not burdened by debt and still have plenty of money life that we can use for many things we want, basically you just don't worry about something like financial crisis anymore.
you have plenty money that fulfill your basic needs and also you can afford some luxury lifestyle even a little bit, being consumtive a little bit won't make you broke, thats what i call rich.
though it might be relative for many people one would consider having hundred millions of dollars as rich.
the other might consider having 5 million dollars already rich, but really it depends on the place you're living in and also the price of goods and property relative to your place.
but i will have my own target of reaching multi million dollars in wealth, that i would consider well off.

The worth of that money is at issue. $5 million in a tiny town and $5 million in New York are not the same thing. Location, location, location—that's everything

That's true, and I think it's very strange even. 
Everyone will feel rich at different times, and there is no specific definition of what rich is, because in my opinion rich is an achievement that has been achieved and appreciated by oneself, that is the work of our brain when we feel happy.
each person will be different of course, if we measure it with money, then it will be endless.

And when you feel rich when the price of Bitcoin increases, maybe I also experience the same thing. lol

I always prefer to stick with those less materialistic ways of defining richness. I'm a hypocrite if I don't admit that I'm running after money in one way or another, but I'm still convinced that beyond material possessions, it should be the genuine feeling of comfort and satisfaction that count more.

Of course, a man who has $1 million is richer than one who only has $1,000, I admit that, but that's definitely not everything there is to it. A man who lives in a mansion, has a private jet, a yacht, and so on but whose mind is constantly occupied with thoughts of how to make more money because he badly needs to buy that resort in the Bahamas or that island in the Carribean, or that latest private jet in the market, and so on could be living a harder life than one who is living simply in the farm and who cannot anymore think of anything that he needs.

I know of individuals who have much more money that many others but who cannot seem to stay at ease because they've got so much expenses and so much to buy. It seems they're living a poorer life than those who don't have much beyond their simple yet decent living but who are very much satisfied and can sleep soundly seconds after lying down.

To me, mental peace and having a happy and healthy family is a success. Spend quality time with your family because, at the end of the day, these will be the only memories which you will cherish. Be a supportive husband and a fun dad. Enjoy the time with your kids while you still can. You should be satisfied with whatever you are doing. Life is not a race or something; take your time and enjoy every passing moment. Live in the moment.

I couldn't agree more with you. To me richness in life has to do with freedom, both financial but also mental. If you have millions but you have been educated to need more no matter how much you have, you will always be a slave.

On the other hand, happiness has to do with material resources, because the lack of them leads to suffering and both concepts are exclusive. But once you get enough to live (the base of Maslow's pyramid), it has more to do with your values and beliefs.

I believe the original poster intended to refer to financial wealth, however wealth can simply be defined as having anything in abundance, whether it be materially, monetarily, or in any other way. Well everything can blow up in their face just when they think the bull run will continue the next 24 hours, weeks or months but before you say jack, the next our comes the unannounced retracement until you see you have gone back to where you came in from. That was what happened last bull and might repeat again for some wanting to hodl to riches.

Your views and opinions are okay but to me I feel being rich isn't only about having lots of money and assets but the ability to employ people in an industry or an establishment in other to  enhance your business and also to create a platform for people to earn a living through your establishment.

It is important for us to know that no matter how rich and wealthy someone is without people benefiting from you through establishment that will bring about employment opportunities to people, then you are only wealthy to yourself and your family as your wealth isn't circulated.

Now for instance, Aliko Dangote who is the Richest man in Africa has some establishment such as the Dangote groups that has aided lots of individuals to benefit and be employed so these are things that needs to be considered when naming people who are rich and wealthy, not some kind of selfish individuals that only thinks about their personal interest and opinion. As in the number of labour force that is working under your company or industries should also be put into consideration.

Everyone has their own way of interpreting that someone has become rich, some say they must have a lot of money and others must also have an intact family. But in my opinion, someone who has become rich will of course be able to easily get whatever they want and they can do anything with the wealth they have and also everyone who is rich will of course be able to easily help people who need their help.

Individuals ideology on this subject differs, for any person to be classified as a rich person, I think you ought to have grown to an extent financially, not necessarily in your physically currency but in net worth.

Of course everyone will have their own sensation in terms of satisfaction, and they will do something that will give them the sensation to confirm that they are rich people, as you said and maybe there are some of them who will spend large amounts of money to buy islands or yachts, none other than that they do just to confirm and admit to themselves and also maybe to others that they are not ordinary people.

The point is that the feeling will come back to each individual's high or low satisfaction, because after all there are also many who are rich but live quite simply and not excessively. This is quite related to the pride that exists in that person too, and if they are one of those people who are always simple in life even though they are rich then maybe they will only confirm to themselves about the wealth they have, because real wealth does not always have to be known by many people.
