First of all, why do this post?

Although these are personal, these two mentioned days were the most important of my life.

I am a small investor. I was not connected to this forum but I used to buy and invest in various coins. A few days ago I bought $870 worth of Bitcoin when the price of Bitcoin was $25000. Today it has increased to around $1200-1400. It was one of the happiest days of my life. People do various important things with their earned money. I also did one of the most important things of my life with the money I earned from my investments. My most important job is to get married. I got married in a family and all wedding expenses and wedding party arrangements were done with my bitcoin investment money. In the country where I live, $1400 is about 2 lakhs money, which can cover the entire cost of a wedding. If I hadn't invested in Bitcoin I might not have seen this happy day and party with my friends. Writing about bitcoin and bitcoin forums may never end.

Bitcoin have assumed the position of a life saviour right from the time that Bitcoin was created, right from the pizza story to all the other success stories that surround Bitcoin and its existence and how far it has gone within the space of time, you are right, if left for others there may tend to end up spending the money to acquire new phone or other none value items, but the ops have chosen to spend that money on his personal family life and also being here in the forum to continues his studies and thereafter taking advantage of future market conditions to keep the Bitcoin accumulation and gains on.
This may be the best thing to do because having to get married is a lifetime investment and at that, any means that aid such achievement is worth being celebrated just like what the ops have done by creating the thread to share his joy about his recent achievement.

Yes Bitcoin have assumed the position of a life savior but it isn't from the time it was created but to avoid someone or a group or even a government to have a control or take control of Bitcoin that's why it is decentralized although it changed after something good happen like OP getting married because he earn profit from investing in Bitcoin. In this type of story I would like to see something more than pure economic interest, because basically what you are telling is that you made a bet with Bitcoin and it worked out well, just as you could have done with shares or other assets.

Welp it may have been that way but they definitely killed it and are reaping the benefits. Honestly have nothing against these people who entered the industry with the prospect of profit. All of us at one point have been this guy and we only stayed because of the passion, which I'm pretty sure he is or he will be soon enough when things get even better. I only have problems and we should only have problems in my opinion against people who put bitcoin at a pedestal, since these types of people are most often the ones that trick newbies into investing by making them think that investing in bitcoin is a no-brainer and an easy money scheme. As for OP, he's good. He probably knew what he was getting into and the risks that come along with it.

The idea of being in control of ones finance and being able to make payments across borders without incurring huge fees possible, is what crypto and Bitcoin in particular stands for.

I venture to guess that the title of the thread, taken literally, is false. The way the OP is exposed, what he has done is invest in bitcoin and then sell that bitcoin for fiat to pay for the wedding. So sort of clickbait the title, I don't know if it's out of ignorance. I doubt very much that he paid the wedding hall or whatever and related expenses directly by sending them bitcoin.

I think you're overthinking it. If you've read the starting post, it's clear that English is not the first language of OP and the mistakes in the title or the opening post are merely language errors and aren't an attempt to clickbait or misguide people, in my opinion.

Your story reminded me of the first time when I converted my first earned bitcoins into my local currency and bought a motorbike for myself. The feeling is unexplainable, you can't describe it in words. Reading this story made me remember a moment that is almost the same as my own story.

I also held a wedding using the money earned from my first Bitcoin sale in 2017.
At that time the Bitcoin price was still around $4000 and I withdrew 2BTC for my wedding expenses and it was a pride for me because I could finance my own wedding without relying on my parents.

I had a total of more than 3 BTC at that time and I got it from several Bounties and Airdrops that I did.
Because Airdrops and Bounties in 2016-2017 were quite good and the work was quite easy and gave great rewards.
Compared to now, the tasks are difficult and the rewards are not comparable.

I don't know if this is just me but I feel like these kinds of testimonies or reaping of the bitcoin profits is such a rare kind of post here in the forum. It's as if people are afraid if not ashamed to show what bitcoin has done for their lives which I can get given that we should remain anonymous and that we should be careful about sharing stuff online but I think that we can make some leeway for that and hope that we can see more. It was a really great moment. We often have different experiences with Bitcoin.
