My girlfriend doesn't like it when I am gambling, and sometimes I don't normally gamble if she's around me or if I let her be aware of my gambling lifestyle. Sometimes she can find out, but that doesn't actually cause much of an issue. I don't normally gamble as often as I used to, but despite that, I am getting more serious about setting up my career. The only thing that can get me away from gambling is work, like some time I can travel out of my state to buy goods for my business, and even if I am back, usually I get business to put everything in place. Those are the only things that normally distract me from gambling.

Another thing that might make me stop is if I feel that I have been spending more time gambling than my work. I'd probably just stay away from it so that  I could become a better employee again. Since your question is specific,  for me, it is lack of money, from being busy with my work, and if I want to stop, gambling is at the back seat of my life I only gamble whenever it is more convenient and I have the time and spare money, the worst condition to stop gambling is when you are broke from gambling or your health deteriorated because of health.

Shortage of funds.  I might temporarily stop gambling if I don't have enough free funds for my gambling activities.  If I keep on lacking funds, I might be not playing gambling for a long time until I have the free money to fund my gambling activity.

Just like any recreational or any activity for entertainment, I only do the activities if I have the free funds to cover it.  So whether I will continue or stop my gambling activity is dependent on the free money in my stash.

Well you list all the reason on why gamblers decide to stop since that are major factors why people think about quiting. I'm not a total addicted gambler so I can quit anytime if I feel it. But the most common reason on why I did it is provably the funds availability since if I already see that I'm running out of funds then provably will decide to stop gor a while and thinking about to continue especially when losing a lot of money already with gambling. Other reason maybe if my parents would really be against on what I do since I always follow them because they know more better than me. If they see stop then no question will do it since I don't want to get mad at me since they are old and want to respect them also I don't like to give them stress knowing that they are old enough to receive such thing from me. For some people it maybe hard for them to stop even if all the factors are already showing up with them but if they are willing to adjust om everything for sure they can do it if they have thoughts to stop this activity.

First, If i'm already struggling financially. Because there's no way to continue playing if I know that I have no money to use for gambling.
