Well, that's not good.

This seems like a permissions error, rather than a billing error.

I have not made any changes to the code over the last few days.

I have isolated the issue to Google Cloud Run functions that are returning 403.

I will have to investigate the logs to get a better detail of what is going on.

Thanks for reminding me. For some reason, I don't get email notifications when a service goes down.

Edit: How strange. As soon as I updated the payment method on the account, everything started working again. However, I did not receive any email or notification on the website indicating that services are paused.

I would like to share my experience with solcard. I purchased about $500 worth of item on Amazon India with it and everything went smoothly, I did not do kyc and had to pay 5% of topup amount as fee.

Quality experience from creating account, to deposit, to pay with it — 10/10, would do again.

There is no verification involved while making payment though, so if someone got your card details, and your card has funds in in, they will be able to use it.

Yes, I did use ProtonMail address in aforementioned scenario, it worked fine.

If it only accepts USDC/USDT, it's not really a crypto card. But now it's trendy for these companies to call themselves crypto cards. Anyway, that's another debate.

Also they will freeze your card if you reach zero balance but keep on charging you if you add funds in your main account, you have to completely cancel the card afterwards.

Those sneaky bastards
One of the problems with many of this crypto cards is the fact they are constantly changing things like fees or supported websites, and it's not easy to keep up with those changes.
That is why I don't suggest planning to purchase any crypto cards for long term usage.

There’s also the StablePay card (https://stablepay.cards). It’s mainly targeted at Russians, so the website is only in Russian. The card is issued to residents of many countries, not just Russia, but for Russians there’s a special advantage: the card can be topped up with the A7A5 stablecoin, which is pegged to the Russian ruble and can be purchased at one Russian bank with just a 0.5% fee. This makes topping up the card very cheap for Russian users.

The issuance fee is 2200 RUB (around $25). The validity period is five years. There’s no maintenance fee. The daily limit is €6,000.

The card is digital. It’s issued within a couple of minutes, but requires providing personal data. It can be added to Google Pay and Apple Pay.

No it's not, the dear CS guy who copy pasted a ready response told me that this is account work and if I want to remove the fee I need to check this out:

The website has just gotten a huge traffic boost in the past 24 hours. Perhaps it is now time for me to start seriously looking into optimizing the site performance of CryptoCardsList.

Currently, the cards page and data tables are functional, but they take too long to load since they come from a Firestore database.

In my opinion, it would be much better for the values to be embedded directly in separate HTML pages, but the amount of work that it would require caused me to do it this way instead.

I would like to share another experience with solcard.

Couple days ago, I deposited directly from an instant exchange to solcard wallet unbeknownst to the fact that you are supposed to deposit exact amount as you entered while creating deposit for it to reflect (it was my fault that I didn't read the note, and forgot my prior experience), so amount that was sent to solcard wallet from an instant exchange was different than what I entered at first and deposit window was also over by time instant exchange deposited, and it didn't reflect.

So, I go to their customer support via chat saying deposit isn't reflected accepting my fault, and they credited it without any fuss whatsoever.

tl; dr: solcard customer support good.

New batch of Aqua Dolphin cards have been approved for everyone who applied for them in Aqua wallets.
I received mine and I already made some smooth purchases, everything worked perfectly fine so far.
Note they are charging additional 0.25% if you top-up card with USDt (so it's better to use L-BTC), and there is $1 fee for each purchase.
