Vod has created a tool that that the entirety of this forum has been using, and still uses, for literal years. BPIP. He had to let go of his pride and joy of a baby and put it in the hands of others because you made him witness all of his hard work building his presence on the forum that changed his life and the life of so many others in the world, crumble. Vod has been instrumental in the early beginnings of this forum by being a trustworthy, intelligent, and consistent contributor to some of it's systems that are in place to this very day.

Actually it would be over if they both stopped talking about each other - the solution really is that simple - but they are unable to do that. Og owes Vod nothing and vice versa. The reasons you mention are not valid complaints for a lawsuit, especially when the parties live in different countries. Vod has zero chance of receiving even one dollar (Canadian or US) as the result of this lawsuit. Its a giant waste of time & attention and I wish we could just be free from having to hear about it. There are no winners here.

Correct me if I am wrong but as far as the forum is concerned, is this the first time one member has served legal documents on another? Keeping aside the details related to the case, if the documents were served on 9th August 2025 it is somewhat of an historic moment/date related to the forum. I am unaware of any other member of the forum suing another.

It's the first case I've ever heard of where someone tries to blame a stranger's internet posts for their stroke and then asks them to pay an 8-figure sum.  It was honestly difficult to find a lawyer who was willing to respond to such a frivolous case.  Most of them advised me to ignore it saying it is clearly going nowhere and expressed disappointment that any lawyer was willing to file such a thing.

That's interesting because a defendant who has been properly served ignoring a civil lawsuit typically results in a default judgment in favor of the plaintiff. The burden of proof to prevail in a civil lawsuit when the defendant does not respond is very low. I think an attorney advising someone to ignore a civil lawsuit is committing malpractice.

OG had an Edmonton lawyer contact mine almost immediately after he was served - he doesn't want his lawyer to know anything about this perverted lifestyle - and I not sure why he was trying to hire one in a bar.  :/   In any case, my lawsuit doesn't even mention the word stroke - people do not become honest as they get desperate.

In general, parties to a lawsuit will retain counsel from lawyers where the lawsuit is filed (or will be filed). Even on retainer, a lawyer is ultimately being paid by the hour (except in contingency cases). So a lawyer not having to travel far will avoid paying $100+ per hour for them to drive.

Another thing, an attorney-client relationship is not one in which the client is trying to impress the lawyer, or trying to get the lawyer to believe the client is a good person. It is a relationship of trust in which the client can tell the lawyer all the relevant facts, so they can represent their client, give the best possible advice, and can help create an effective legal strategy. There is no reason why OgN would withhold details from his lawyer.

I believe Theymos was unaware of the level of OgNasty's pychosis when he chose him as a partner.   Theymos has been less than honest to me in previous PMs, but he has never made up stories publically in an attempt to cost me money and business.    OgNasty also joked about sex with children for over as decade, and involved me in his fantasies.  Had he not done these things, he would have been a simple thief and I probably wouldn't care.  But OgNasty's malicious and continued perverted stories cost me a lot, and he is not a man who does what he promises.  A lawsuit was necessary.

I'm looking forward to helping legit bitcoin projects as well as promoting bitcoin.  I am proving that just because someone steals bitcoin does not mean you can't get them back.  Just like cash.

It's an obvious lie.  There's plenty of evidence of BPIP's transition of ownership being amicable and smooth.  If I remember correctly I learned about it from a post made by Vod, and I got the sense that he was relieved that someone else wanted to mange it.  I can't seem to find that post at the moment, and I don't have a lot of time to dig.  

I also recall a time when the site was down, and I feared that Vod would take it down permanently due to not being able to manage it.  I don't remember if it was something Vod said that made me think that, or me just being in a panic.  I use the site frequently, and I found it invaluable when I was running my doomed lending business.

Back to the subject of OG's lying: If nothing else, this most recent tidbit of not-so-subtle defamation should make it obvious to anyone who's paying attention; if you challenge OGNasty or bring up uncomfortable questions about his business practices, prepare to be slandered and defamed.  Even the most obvious lies such as this one will be spread and repeated.

Just as others, I have noticed the updates with regards to the litigation and still would request you both consider settling the matter without the need to progress via legal route. Imagine a close family member gets severely injured due to an impaired accident by a rich influencer.  You'll need to sell everything your family owns to take care of them.  You have a chance at a couple hundred bitcoin for a few dollars - do you think it would be possible to find a mutually acceptable solution?  We've reserved two weeks in court, but OgNasty will not have to be there.   He put up such a brave face on the forum that no one would suspect reading my posts could cause him stress, anxiety, and several million in defence therapy.

You'll fight accusations by Vod on grounds of free speech?  Yeah I'm pretty sure if it comes to you having to defend yourself in a court of law, your counsel isn't going to advise you to go that route, since it's ludicrous.  "Free speech" is a 1st amendment issue and doesn't apply to anything going on here; the only thing it means is that the U.S. government can't restrict your words--and even then it's not an absolute right without exceptions.

I used to know (or thought I knew) bill gator's RL name and where he lived, as he wanted to meet up a while back.  Unless he sold his account to OgNasty or someone else, he's not an alt account of one of the long-time members who's got a dog in this fight.  On the other hand, from our last exchanges it seems possible bill gator would have sold his account--but I certainly can't say he did, as I've no evidence of that.
