Yes I agree with you that investing in top ten altcoins is a good decision to invest. If the top 10 coins include meme coins there then I don't want to go there. Also among the ten coins are several coins that have not increased in value much. Among the top 10 altcoins my favorites are Ethereum, BNB, Solana coin. These coins have performed well recently, although the price has dropped slightly. But I am optimistic that these three coins will perform well in the coming bull season. So, I think three of the top 10 altcoin will help to spread the investment of coins and get much profit in future.

But the top 10 altcoins cannot give you significant profits. As you said it will be difficult for coins in the top 10 to record increases of hundreds of percent. It does not possess any surety that top coins will give you profit instead of Ethereum, BNB and Solana because they have proved to be a successful coin in the past and also will have a successful future. Meme coins can give us huge profit suddenly but it can also drop our money suddenly without giving us time to sell them in order to reduce our loss.

Newly created coins have the ability to pump very quickly but nobody knows which new coin will be a better one so I think if someone wants huge profit then they have to choose new coins with their risk. Many people prefer new coins as compared to top 10 coins because their productivity is higher than that of top coins and people want to find a chance to increase the worth of their money instead of waiting for years for top coins.

Apparently every thing in life is risky, whether one decide to try or not they are already taking a risk of losing if they don't try so the only option is to keep taking the risk.

But in the cost of taking a risk, it's best to make a level or research that could help in reducing the rate of risk involved, a good risk management plan and research can cut down the cost of losses which is the best advised I have ever come across in this board.

You're absolutely right as long as the crypto investment is concerned there is always a risk, even  outside this crypto world there is still risk, what really matters is how to go about those risk. most people have chosen not to invest in altcoins due to risk that is involved, mostly when they see people talking about there past experience they had in altcoin investment. though altcoin investment is all about choice, forcing someone to go into altcoin investment is not good because most people Is not ready to bare the risk, of course everyone is entitled to chose what is best for them either.

Yes I agree with your statement any investment big or small is risky. When Bitcoin first hit $69,000, it dropped below $16,000. Were those who invested at the peak relieved when the price fell? Of course, all cryptocurrency coins are risky investments, but there are more or less variations. Ethereum, BNB, Solana are all three coins that I see hope for in the future. These three coins performed quite well compared to all other coins. Solana has been performing incredibly well this year. Everyone has high expectations from Solana Coin if the bull season starts ahead.

No one can exactly predict the crypto market. With decades of research and expertise on stock market yet it don't follow the analytic rules, in comparison crypto market is fairly new and even though we have had a rising market for almost all of popular coins including bitcoin and altcoins, there are no certainty that it would follow. The last bull could be the peak for decades to come or we might create a new all time high 2x the last one, no one knows for sure. When investing, it's generally better to look for lows and highs, resistance and support, at the moment, the market feels like it is going above the support level, it could be a good time to buy alts that are closer to the support level than that which are testing the resistance.

Buying a coin in a bull season is actually dangerous but buying a good coin during bull season will help you better particularly, the coin that are yet to see any return on investment, I don't mean the coins that has been pumped in the past bull cycle, the one listed and has only give return on investment on initial listing and that listing is not always consider as return, most often pre-sale investors do has coins lockup so there is no way they can sell.

You can also buy altcoin during the bull season but you have to be smart about it, you can buy altcoin during a pre-sale, this one is usually safe because the listing price is always better than the public price and the public price is always different from listing price, so investing in presale is good if you know your way in and out of crypto and sometimes money is what you need.

Agreed. Altcoins investment is risky at all time and not only in the bear market time and also in the bull market. I have heard some people saying that after when they have invested in the token thinking that the coin would appreciate but instead it depreciate and making them to lost interest to invest again in another coins. It is not easy to invest in altcoins and earn from them as expected because they always display different ways in the cryptocurrency market.
And the best way which I can recommend is to invest at the tender stage and face the risk till it rise up and not to invest in the bull market because you might face the decline of the coin and wait for a very long time.

Currently, in Q2 2024, I still believe that most altcoins beyond the top 10 are primarily for short to medium-term profit. One way I've found to potentially benefit is by participating in pre-sales of new projects and selling at public launch, as the price is often still favorable. However, if I truly believe in a project's potential, I might hold (HODL) a small portion, maybe 10-30%, for the long term. This way, even if the price drops, the impact isn't as severe. It's really challenging to find altcoin projects as promising as ETH.

I think investing in cryptocurrency as a whole is a risk.  So, even if it is risky to invest in altcoins now if it turns out cool, then the returns would be really high. You know when the price of Bitcoin increases so does the price of other cryptocurrency. And even afterwards comes the altcoin Eason which is like a blast of altcoins, but at the same time, I'd never advise someone to hold altcoins for a long time. Of course, unless it's Ethereum. I'd only say trading altcoin is the best, just as hodling Bitcoin is the best.

So, even if the prices are more unstable than Bitcoin, it's not risky to invest in it. But be sure to watch the market very closely so you don't lose you're investments.
